wait im so confused as i downloaded mod engine and winrar from the same link but when i load up the extracted file all it says is "launchmods_eldenring" but it doesnt say but. Is that alright or does it need the ".bat" at the end for it to work?
If you go into properties it should already say .bat but I'm not sure if it matters as I cant get mod engine to working. I recommend wemod although it doesnt have all the cool mods it does have pretty much anything you could want to get through the game including god mode.
Great video. Only critique is that you slow down your visual examples, so that people have a better opportunity to see your work, and process. Still very helpful.

Is there a way to alternate from multiplayer without changing or deleting anything? Do you only get flagged when launching it from the ModEngine2 folder? If launch normally through Steam seems doesn't activate mods but can you still get flagged?

I don't understand how ModEngine2 is supposet to guess where is the game location...
There is literally no location path or what so ever...
what about a mod that requires a regulation.bin file? How can I have multiple mods if they both have one?? Would I rename them? Or just replace the existing one?
If you haven't found a solution for this, there is a program called "Yapped-Rune-Bear" which you can use to merge two different regulation.bin files. There's tutorials on YT for it.

Gave this a go, but for the mod I was looking for, I didn't get a folder, just the program without properties. Is there a workaround that?
my game folder is different there is 2 start protected games, one is start protected game then the other is start protected game original. also none of them have .exe in the name

how do i see what the armor model numbers are in the files for the different armors in the game? i want to replace some of the boring armors with some different modded ones but i dont know what model numbers correspond to each set.
i’ll upload a Mod Zip file to my bio, download it and inside you should see a notepad called “ID Parts” inside there will have all corresponding pieces with their numbers 👍🏻

Sadly not, the name of the files are very important as they correspond to armour files within the game

if i understand correctly you're trying to open ER through steam? try double clicking the ER Bat file from the mods folder and see if that works
What about mods with retention.bin files? How do you get those to work

Ill give this a shot, I got sick an tired of doing clean installs after small updates would remove my mods and force me to clean install for them to work again. Also one of my newer saves got corrupted because of this. I put Elden Ring down for a while just so Mod Engine 2 would be in a workable state, we'll see I guess.

assuming you've not bought ER and have instead downloaded a cracked version, it's not possible to use mods unfortunately ;(
@@rixxtu actually, it is possible to use mods with uxm, but you will have to make an extra 50 gigs of unpackaged files that can't be deleted or else you will have to reinstall the game
@@jobhighschoolofcrosscity8430 true, but using UXM is kinda clapped imo, obviously it's the alternative since ModEngine can't attatch onto cracked versions but it's better to just buy the game
