I'm so happy you enjoyed learning how to build up a flow, I think that's what I enjoy most about teaching these ladder sequences, the fact that you guys can learn swell as practice!
Wow. This was a challenge however smiled when I too thought skandasana was a resting place now. Proud of myself for staying with the daily routine and now I can place my leg down “gracefully” from a 3 legged Down dog as it moves forward toward my hand. Left is still weaker but when I started it would hardly stay lifted as I tried to move forward. Excited for tomorrow. Charlie your vision of movement creates challenge and grace. Much appreciated.
It's rare that I comment, but i just have to for this one. Tough practice this morning, but i really enjoyed that it was a learning experience as well as being physically challenging! Can't thank you enough for these videos, and am excited for the next set~
That was a butt kicker. I’m with Zoey7873. I was relieved to “rest” in skandasana- first week I DREADED skandasana. My knees were a little tender. They’re getting stronger! my 78 pound 2 year old wide forehead red nose pitbull came flying through the basement full speed straight into me when I was in down dog left hand up right foot up. Knocked my ass over. But your clip about showing up whether you’re motivated or not- I was feeling 39 today- Most days I feel 25. Sorry Charlie. I cussed you over and over today. Haha 😂. Then I said sorry I LOVE YOU YOURE MAKING ME SO STRONG! Then cuss cuss. I love how I feel like you respect us enough to do what makes you tired- cuz we can do it too. When we hover our knees and spin to the right and touch left foot and switch does anyone’s feet go further and further back? I’ve found it doesn’t do it as much when I bring my knees low in the center.
I have a love hate relationship with ladder flows 😅 sweaty is good. I have said it before. This rubber mat I got has completely changed the game for me. My poses are better especially ones that are pulling in opposite directions on the mat. Like cobra, pigeon… it’s moved my ability level and flexibility and strength ahead what would’ve taken me months in a few weeeks. No more wasted energy on trying not to slip! But- I look at the video more and am listening closer this time Through the series. And I realized that if you say lift your arm overheads. That’s not always the ceiling!! Duh🤦🏻♀️🫣. So fallen star was broken down in here and made sense. My body was like, oh! I have the open my chest like THAT! Anyways. Ladders are brutal but feels good once you did it!
That was tough! I never thought I would ever view skandasana as a rest! Brilliant, thank you. 🙏💕
