The ultra rip n rags are awesome. They have a very tight weave. I use them for leveling a ceramic coating and they work amazing. As soon as I’m done I throw them in a bucket of rinseless so the coating cannot cure on them and use them for interiors. The tight weave really helps clean on interiors without a brush. Great video man!
I like how you feature products that regular everyday folks buy. I just purchased a Costco Grab A Rag box of 80 for $ 15.00 Canadian ( 87/13 blend dual sided). Nice for glass and door jambs. 🇨🇦👍👍
Hey bro , Just changed all my garden hoses to a quick release with a small shut off valve on the hose and all my sprinklers , hose nozzles and my new Ryobi 1800 PSI Power Washer now have quick releases . Also purchased the Flexzilla hose and the McKillans® Short Pressure Washer Gun with Swivel . Also got the Chemical Guys Honeydew Soap . I’m just using it for personal use . Not a business . Everything works great . Your videos helped me a lot . Thank you 👍
@@Gho57xL34d3rdifferent video. He’s got a pressure washer setup video on the channel I highly recommend checking out as it’s helped me out tremendously as well👍🏻 (just a weekend warrior/washer)
Thank you for this extremely helpful comparison! ❤ I understand the purpose of using a windshield (rougher and more prone to linting vs other less abused glass on a vehicle);however, may I suggest a black backing (or any solid darker color) to the windshield for future comparisons that it may pertain to show on camera better. Thank you for what you do, and keep up the good work - I really enjoy your channel.
I get the autodrive 75 pack . I dont use them though. I put them in a thank you pack i leave in my customers cars . Along with a cheap car small garbage bag , a little tree and a couple business cards . Customers appreciate it and its under 2 bucks out of my pocket.
Totally agree with you on the Autofiber Mr. Everything towel. Very high quality microfiber towel that can be used for cleaning glass, paint, interiors and gloss black plastic. Great for wiping off polishing compound or applying sealants or waxes. It does Everything.
The Ultra towels from TRC are awesome. They hold up really well to washing and I've downgraded them after coatings to interior and wheel towels. They've really earned their keep in my garage.
I’ve been eying those rolls at Walmart I forget which one exactly it was but it felt really nice one of them was opened so I got to feel it I think it was the auto drive brand detailing towels
These kind of remind me of the old rag company utility towels 245gsm I bought years ago. Still kicking but nothing impressive. Surprisingly the rag company terry towels at 300gsm for 90¢ - $1.50 a towel feel at least twice as nice and have held up amazingly over the years for me. I use them for everything. My favorite cheap towel. Probably similar to the autofiber.
Good video!! Did you notice any differences in the tear-off edges? I have heard some of them can be a bit rough? Almost like how they make the perforations melts the edge a bit?
Don't forget these premium towels also carry a shipping charge so that should be included in the equation. I use the Walmart 230 gsm edgeless towels in gray for wheels only. Good value.
I just got those Autofiber Mr.Everything Roll-O-Rag. Giving them out as samples on my orders. They are extremely well built. I use the Walmart ones for filthy stuff 😎. Autofiber ones I will use for ceramic coating wipe off or interior wipes.
Your videos are very thorough and I feel you pesent an unbiased opinion. Would you share with us the calcuations you utiized to determine the GSM count for a towel?
yea i took how many inches in a square meter which is 1550 and the mulyplied that number by how may grams the towel weighed and then divided it by the size of the towel squared. so for the 12x12 its divided by 144. so the equation would be 1550 x 18g / 144 = 193.75
I've got some microfiber drying towels that decided to make friends with wood shavings. Any tips on getting that stuff out? Should I try a brush, comb, or just wave goodbye and buy new ones?
What I've noticed with my microfiber purchasing is that I have a hell of a lot of crap towels, but only a few really good ones. I have bought a lot that has ended up in the 'not for the car' drawer.
I saw a video he did on the Ava power washer and I went and bought it and love it!!! And it came with all that you need! No need to get a foam cannon or new hose. It’s all great quality.
Not sure I like the “rags on a roll” concept. They come across to me as “throw away” towels. I would rather spend more for less, but have the higher quality microfiber and properly wash them after use.
Yeah totally understand that. The Mr everything roll is fantastic quality. And I haven’t tried it but I’ve heard the pearl ones from the rage company on a roll are great as well. I wash and reuse them all the time time. The Mr everything roll is one of my favorite towels..: on a roll or off a roll
Nice vid as always. Good Lord at the bots already in the comments though. Think I'm the first actual person. 😂😂😂 BTW, ty for the Koch Chemie recommendation.
I forgot to mention that. I specifically didn’t wash them first because I feel that with them being on a roll and that being a feature, you would use them as is coming off the roll.
But do you do that in practice? I'd personally always wash them first to be sure there is nothing bad left from the factory (for windows this is however less of an issue than paint)

Thanks! Yeah I want to do a direct comparison of those and the Autofiber 16x16… they sound very comparable but the ultra is a cheaper per towel
@@imjoshv yeah and I have a wholesale account with the rag company and they come out to 33 bucks
@imjoshv so which one you recommend the ultra rip n' rag or the Mr. Everything : Roll-o-Rags (both are 16×16 - 70/30 but who knows the gsm

Another vote here for the Ultra Rip N Rags. They come in a great box and are perfect for leveling coatings with the pearl weave.
How do they compare to the Mr. Everything : Roll-o-Rags
Great video and content Josh appreciate all the hard work and reviews.
Thanks I appreciate it
Thank you for this extremely helpful comparison! ❤

Thanks Jb! I have some on the way!!
I ended up giving the auto drive ones to my wife for general cleaning after the first wash. They went from plush to crunchy real fast lol.
I love all your videos,
How often I should get new towels?

Thx for the video Josh. I was just about to pull the trigger on TRC roll specifically for interior and glass. But not if they lint
Thanks for this! I was just searching for roll microfiber rags this morning!
Good timing!!

Good point, now I’m on the fence..
I have the Ultra Rip n Rags and they're great. Awesome leveling towels for coatings.
Great to know! I have them coming to try out

Enjoy the videos man!. Started my detailing business a couple months back and a lot of your reviews have helped me decide on products!
Thats awesome Im glad the videos have been helpful!

Great job Josh! I have found these to be very useful. I bought the Plat line (blue) one from Wal Fart, they seem to work good.
Awesome!
Great video! Really helps me chose dome new coating towels.
👍👍👍
Great video good info!! Have a great weekend!!
Thanks you too!
I use the norwex rags for windows
Try RAPID Dry towels.... you'll never look back best I've ever used
nice! I needed better towels for windows. Hate that most leave lint behind.
try that mr everything roll. Ive been so happy with them on windows! and everything else
Thanks for doing this review. very helpful, I will try the new auto-fiber and the ultra from rag company.
You bet! I’ll do a side by side comparison on those two soon
Might be a funny question but I never used these type of towels. Are they washable for multiple uses ?
hey Josh did you ever get the Ultra Rip N Rag to compare to the Autofiber Roll o Rag?

Same here. I have costco bins full of towels that kinda suck
Thank you, helpful information.
What are your real world differences in using the mr everything 390 gsm vs the 300 gsm?
Great video. Just curious if you considered the Grants microfiber towels from Harbor Freight? I had a pack and they worked surprisingly well in glass.
It for this video just because they aren’t on a roll. But yeah I have covered them before and they are a good value!!
Do u their then away after use or wash them?
When are you going to do tiktok shop foam cannon video?
Karcher 1800 or ryoby 1800,which one you recommend
I saw a video he did on the Ava power washer and I went and bought it and love it!!! And it came with all that you need! No need to get a foam cannon or new hose. It’s all great quality.
New to detailing but do you throw those away after use or re wash them and re use them?
These are all washable and reusable!
@@imjoshv thank you bro I think I’ve watch all your videos. Trying to get started 🙏🏼
The Mr Everything grips too much on glass tho
1st United States of America 🇺🇸
Nice!!
Are these reusable or disposable? They seem like a good quick option for some jobs but I don't want one time use items.
Yep all of these can be washed and reused!
Good to know. I might use these to supplement my regular towels.
Where r getting 1.50 for mr everything???? Im seeing 2.30 per
On the roll its different. The are a 300gsm version instead of 390. Its $30 for a roll of 20 which is $1.50 per towel
