I always appreciate your tips on the best products. It seems like Wal;Mart has been stepping up their game with automotive detailing products. And don't forget the Clearance Aisle, just for fun. Two days ago, my local WM had 16 oz bottles of Jay Leno's Garage Vehicle Wash for $1.50 each in clearance - I quickly snapped up all four bottles.
Being Josh doesn't recommend a glass cleaner, I will. Walmart carries Stoner's Invisible Glass, which is the best ever. I saw it the other day for only $3.97 a bottle. You can't go wrong with that one.
I have a bottle of that and honestly prefer the glass cleaner from the Dollar Store. Maybe I got a defective bottle but that stuff seems to leave a film behind I can't wipe off. The windows will look clean until driving at night and they look smeared.
Hey Josh! I'm not a pro auto deailer, just a lady who likes to keep her ride shiny, clean, and pristine. That said, would you mind briefly explaining the differences between sealants, protectants, and detailer products? Also, please differentiate between polishes and waxes. I find them all confusing. Thank you!!
Great video. I like these national stores car product reviews because some quality products are readily available. BYW, the TW tire and wheel cleaner really works and the price, wow. Thanks again Josh.
Turtle wax has been around for decades! I would hope they know what works best. They have never let me down. Best brand for the money, for DIY purposes at home ❤
I sure wish we had this wider selection of car cleaning products at our Walmart here in Canada. My local store did just start carrying chemical guys VRP, which has been my favorite dressing for years, so that's a happy thing.
@HARTLAND DETAILER yes, you're right. However the point (for me) is local retail availability, without having to run up more credit debt ordering online. Still trying to recover financially from salary reduction during the pandemic.
@@corinnelaking569 Yes, chemicals have risen post pandemic, but in detailing you do not need dozen and dozens of chemicals, try using multi purpose chemicals like Super Clean & ONR.
@@corinnelaking569 As you may know, Super Clean is dilutable. And can be used on the exterior as well as the interior. Plus has many uses around the house. Have you ever tried Optimum No Rinse? Also a very cost effective product, you can wash about 500 cars for $20.00.
I agree on the shampoos, I use both in a pinch. Also use the Spray foam tire cleaner and dressing in a pinch works fine, but don't rely on the cleaning aspect. Always have a whitewall/tire cleaner on hand and clean with a firm brush.Honorable mention for me is the Extreme Tire and Wheel from Armor all. Cheap and effective in a pinch. Meguiar's cleaner wax is a great og it kinda combines a clay and wax in oneand yoyu apply with machine or by hand. Thanks Josh I agree with you and its great advice.
Another banger Josh! Thanks for keeping me locked in for the last 21 mins, love the content. Be cool to have a video on tips on a fresh brand new paint job, or brand new car. Keep pushing out content and I’ll be here to absorb it all in!
When suds lab came in at my local Walmart I gave it a try, so far I've tried the wheel cleaner and blue bottle you mentioned. They've worked really well for me so far, I'll have to try some of their other products if my Walmart ever gets them in stock. Good easily accessible products.
Excellent video. A lot of great information for the above average DIY'er car detailer who only does their own cars and maybe an extended family/friend or two. Thank you!!
9:40 its amazing, and it smells great too. Ive recently been a convert to suds lab. At first I thought it was just cheap stuff and not worth it to buy. Boy was I wrong, they make great products.
That chemical guys tire kicker stuff is fantastic! Makes my tires look like shiny rubber bands lol. I use armor all ceramic wheel cleaner on my rims too. I got white dish 20 inch rims on my Mercedes, and it works great at keeping them fresh!
I used to buy separate wheel and tire cleaner but now just use a bucket of car wash and foam sponge for rims and once in awhile get the dollar store brush out to scrub the wheels. To deep clean once in awhile like after winter I will spray on the Turtle Wax Rapid Decon iron remover which works great for removing the imbedded stuff. I just have the stock painted Mercedes rims so car wash seems to work fine.
Great content, love it! I ceramic coated my car last year, it's always garaged and kept very clean, I'd like to add some wax protection now, can I just add some carnuba wax or should I use a cleaner wax?
I detail 3000 cars a year. I ALWAYS check walmart because some of the products are good, and some work well enough to hold me over until i restock my usual stuff.
Josh, I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge. I'm about 90% in agreement on all your recommendations. I've found the turtle wax max power to be consistently streaky. So much so that I just don't use it at all anymore. One thing that has really surprised me and you may want to test out: crystal gx3 plastic restorer. It's a spray which I don't love but I grabbed a can out of curiosity. Very pleasantly surprised. Really good stuff. Thanks again and be well.
Thanks for posting an informative and helpful video on auto detailing products that can be found at Walmart. My local Walmart isn't that diverse with its products, but there are other Walmarts that I can check out.
Thank you, Josh. A very informative video. Your reviews are spot on! I don't particularly like Chemical Guys products either. I use MaxShine ,Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions and Mequiar's, depending on the particular application.
Hey Josh, on the Turtle Wax Max Power shampoo it gives measurements for 3 different levels, but for foam cannon it just says 1:1 ratio or undiluted. Can you recommend measurements for the different levels of cleaning when using foam cannon for pre wash?
Ultimate polish is still a thing, and still being sold at my local walmart. They changed the bottles too, its now more narrow, and satin black instead of gloss black.
Always great video on products you can get at local store . Question have you try Jay Leno's garage car care products or did a review on those ??? I use 2 products from them that are always handy to me . Thanks again for always doing this videos

Hey! I just started watch your videos a couple of weeks ago & have been very helpful in choosing what’s good for my car! I do have a question, I have chrome hubcaps & been wanting to bring the shine back. I’ve cleaned them so their just dull. Any product I can safely use on them to bring the shine back?? Thank you again for these videos!!

I don’t need super cleaning power mainly just the uv protection
I had this 06 Avalon that was used for off-road and racing and was so filthy and wasn’t washed for I think about 5 years and I used suds labs and the car looked almost brand new, I had to clean it a couple times before it got a full clean because the car was just that filthy but suds labs is a 10/10 from me

Hands down, Suds n2 is by far the best I've ever seen, a bit pricey but dilute it if necessary, try it, and it will be your go-to cleaner as well.
The sunjoe with the 1.1 mm piece in it really does great for home use. I use it kicks ass even with the 1600 psi washer.
Sudz lab tire shine I dilute 50/50 with water. I love that grape smelling stuff. It's Gooooood
