There's debate about whether or not you should use CLP vs. using cleaner and lubricant separately, so I was making the point that if the military is ok with using CLP given their demands for reliable performance, then I'd be ok with it as well.

Hi Glen, this happened to be a new barrel on this gun so I didn't clean it, but you are 100% right, that's a necessary step.
