    OMG Vivid dreams are ABSOLUTELY a thing. I am 7 Weeks 3 days- first time pregnant and I would say the vividness of my dreams has been very prominent and noticeable to me. I'm talking every single night- full on conversations with other people in my dreams, etc. It's been pretty interesting. Thanks for sharing your experience with us!!! Very helpful to me- first time pregnant as well :)

    I've just found you and will be following along with your journey. I also found out on 11dpo just days after you in feb 17. It's so nice to hear someone else talk about how hard the nausea can be, i was so I'll in my first trimester and didn't really abate until 19/20 weeks.
    The pregnancy affirmations too were important to me, as a miscarriage mum i told myself every day "today i am pregnant me today i am happy".

    Thank you so much for sharing your experience! I’m currently 7 weeks and 1 day and my journey has been so similar to yours! Constant nausea and exhaustion, I feel like all I do is lie in bed. It’s been hard because I’m so used to being up and at it, going to the gym, going for walks, cleaning the house etc and all of that has kind of halted. My sense of smell is sooooo intense now that I smell everything and sometimes can’t even be around my husband because I can’t handle his scent. I’m hoping it gets better but it’s gonna be quite a journey. Again thanks for sharing because this really helped me feel better about my experiences. ❤

    I didn’t stop feeling nauseous until week 16/17… so glad that ended! Currently 22 weeks and experiencing acid reflux/cough when I eat, bit of aches and pain but otherwise quite myself! Meghan can you do a mental health and pregnancy video and tips for how to remember ‘this too shall pass’? One of my favourite quotes for sure! I also remember feeling that I would be sick and unwell forever!

  • @caitlinsteuter4913
    @caitlinsteuter4913 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    I cried watching this because you validated every symptom. I’m 12 weeks and 6 days and the entire time has been a nightmare. I had to wean of my anti depressants because they were deemed unsafe for fetus during first trimester and the withdrawal in addition to normal symptoms was just horrendous. Now that I’m in the second trimester I’ve been prescribed an anti nausea pill that has helped dramatically. Not perfect but a hell of a lot better than before. And that week 10 depression hits hard! I cried every day coming home from work. Just sick and tired of being sick and tired. No light at the end of the tunnel as you said. As I approach week 13 I’m bummed to say that I’m still dealing with the strong hunger pangs and nausea and I pray they go away soon. I just want to want food again.
    And the hightened sense of smell is NO JOKE! Boyfriend says I’m being dramatic and I’m like let me put the cat poop right in your nostril, and then you can say I’m dramatic.
    Question for you: Knowing how icky the first trimester is, do you have the desire for maybe having more kids and going through it again?

    • @erikanino7359
      @erikanino7359 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    OMG, thank you very much for sharing! I strugled during my first trimester too and it seemed to me that other women don't have problems at all. All the youtube was full of energized and happy pregnant women. I just felt loneliness and sadness about my experience.
    It is so cute, that you had same thoughts about not having symptoms of pregnancy at the beginning of the 1 trimester. I was anxious if I felt suspiciously well during week 4 and 5. If only I knew what was coming...

    Omg double commenting but commenting as I watch- wow this is the first video so far that I'v watched that I relate to so much- all of your symptoms are so similar to mine- and yes, that terrible miserable feeling of being grossed out just by the idea of most foods, but also just feeling such prominent physical hunger. That's where I've been at for about 10 days now. And yes, can definitely relate to wanting to experience symptoms because it felt reassuring, but then also realizing how weird it is to be wishing to feel unwell lol. It makes no sense, but also makes complete sense.

    Hi Meghan! Thank you for sharing your experience! The hunger pains were CRAZY for me, too!! (Right now, I'm at *almost* 14 weeks. I also loved the sour foods... but opted for sour gummy worms instead! Our symptoms were pretty spot on week by week, too. I definitely felt so drained, mentally and physically. There were times when I thought I definitely could not do this, especially as I started gaining weight and not feeling like myself. I usually eat primarily plant-based (no red meat) and there were weeks when I just ate burgers and HOT DOGS. (Hot dogs?!) Even though this was such a hard time, I'm glad you shared it with us. I'm excited for T2 and feeling BETTER about myself, getting back into exercising (literally anything other than sitting on the couch or sleeping), and making healthier food decisions. Congratulations on your sweet new addition and good luck with T2! :)

    I think I’m about 8 weeks pregnant and I’ve been having really bad cramping, that’s president unless I rest for awhile. Is that normal? I keep thinking it’s just growing and expanding pain but it’s worrying me

    I feel like the first trimester is nothing but worrying about everything... It doesn't feel like a 80% chance everything will be fine but 50/50 and it makes me crazy.

    I know you’re a tea drinker… have you been drinking chamomile tea while pregnant? I’m 11 weeks and have heard conflicting messages on chamomile tea and herbal teas in general.
