As my second trimester comes to a close, I find myself getting so excited to meet our little guy in a couple months. But really trying to soak up and enjoy this sweet time.🤍🩵 Are you pregnant right now or have been before? What was the second trimester like for you??
I’m currently 23 weeks pregnant (first pregnancy) and expecting a baby girl ❤ Today I’m feeling a little low on energy but in general I’m feeling fine, I also feel like at the end of the first trimester, my belly seemed to be smaller than it should be but now it’s definitely caught up!! I’ve been enjoying going to the pool and I’m looking forward to starting my prenatal aqua fitness courses next week!!!
Just found out I’m pregnant with baby #2. I had sickness the whole time the first pregnancy so I’m eating everything now because I won’t be eating for the next 8 months
Hi Ashley! I'm currently in my second trimester and I have a lot of the same symptoms as your 14-18 weeks... nervous now because I'm having the nasal congestion too and we're planning on flying around week 20. :/
I’m 24 weeks with baby #3! 💙 this pregnancy has been so easy sickness wise but I’ve been exhausted all day everyday. I have a 2&3 year old and it shows 😂
Mom of three here, I had okay second trimesters. I was so sick with nausea my first pregnancy and it didn't let up until month 6, so the second trimester isn't always the "honeymoon phase" that so many women get to enjoy. Not complaining, it was worth it. It was better with the next two. Even though I am done having children, it's so fun to watch other women get to experience it. It brings back lots of fond memories. Your page turning analogy-so good! Wishing you all the best and enjoying the pregnancy content while you are in this season! Enjoy your time off and get all the sleep you can! Hope it gets better and better!
I felt most comfortable in my body during my 3rd trimester, just so empowered! Some random pregnancy symptoms I had, heartburn for sure, carpal tunnel, and plantar fasciitis. Luckily those all went away postpartum, though it took time. I have two kids aged 6 and 4 and believe my pregnancy journey is at a close. It is such a beautiful, complicated, uncomfortable and amazing time! Can't wait to keep watching you blossom.
I'm a twin mom of little 2 year old girls. I was tired my whole pregnancy and hungry all the time. I didn't have any nausea all pregnancy, when I did a test I had the same symptoms as when I'm getting my period, but it still felt a bit different, I was feeling hungry instead of craving chocolate. The second trimester I still felt very tired, better then in the first trimester, but I was sleeping and eating so much. Finding out that we were having twins, at 11 weeks (first ultrasound they only saw one baby), I felt like my belly should pop at any moment, but it still took 5 to 6 weeks (my belly showed up during week 16 or 17). My whole pregnancy my belly wasn't very big for twins, it always looked like I was carrying one baby (luckily). I had such a blessed and easy pregnancy, my husband started to laugh sometimes when I said that I was hungry (again). In my second trimester we went to Crete (Greece) for a vacation and it was great. I was fit when I got pregnant and I think that helped so much during pregnancy. I hope you have a great third trimester❤
I'm at 37 weeks with my first, and hearing your description of your journey is very relatable! I kept waiting for the honeymoon faze of the 2nd trimester, and although I experienced a little of it, it wasn't till later in the trimester too. Pregnancy definitely has it's ups and downs, but you were spot on in saying that feeling that little one move around inside getting to see them and hear them at the ultrasounds makes it all worth it! Just wait till Christopher can feel the baby too (if he hasn't already). That is such a sweet highlight! Congratulations on your baby boy! You two are going to be wonderful parents. ☺️
Thank you for being so open about your entire experience so far. As my husband and I are in the early days of trying for a baby, this has been so encouraging to see your honest experiences and thoughts. I know everyone's experience with trying/pregnancy is so different, but hearing real good and bad experiences rather than just reading about it online has eased some of my own personal fears about the process. Praying for a blessed third trimester and everything beyond for you and Christopher
Fellow first time mom over here! I’m in my third trimester and getting really excited to meet baby. I would say don’t rush back into making videos unless you feel ready, since I can only imagine those first few months will be chaotic but also just so precious to soak up. That said, I’m also interested in hearing your take on motherhood and being on that journey with you via your videos. Glad you’re feeling better, and I hope the third trimester keeps treating you well!🤍
Hi! My baby has only 7 days and I’m already miss being pregnant. I miss feeling his kicks and that sensation that I was creating life which is impressive. Please, enjoy this amazing journey and treasure this moments ❤
the 4th trimester was definitely the hardest for me and one that i didnt plan/prepare for. im happy to know you are planning to take a break but pls do take all the time you need to rest and recuperate. life will change so much and you will be running on little to no sleep. i suffered post partum depression because i thought i could do it all. hope you have a healthy pregnancy and post partum journey ❤
I am 15 weeks now and eagerly waiting for the honeymoon stage. I have been hungry my entire pregnancy, even when nauseous. But it is a fun journey and would change it for anything.
My baby is now 8 months old and watching your videos reminds me of all these precious moments ☺️ Been watching you for years, cannot wait to see where you bring your channel xx
For a chiropractor, make sure you look for one that is Webster-certified. Unisom is great for sleep, as well as Natural Calm Magnesium (the Raspberry Lemon flavor is delicious!). The magnesium also helps with things like nausea, cramps (like leg cramps), and constipation.
Absolutely I had unisom throughout my whole 1st trimester and actually got hospitalized because I couldn’t keep anything down. It was awful but then I got prescribed just the main ingredient in unisom because it was so bad.
Having my 3rd at the end of march, 3rd boy! I’m 31 weeks and my goodness I really feel the back pain and pregnancy fatigue it’s so hard to sleep 😩😂 wishing you all the best during your pregnancy 🎉
I live in Germany and here is a maternity leave for one year the standard. Please leave as long as you need, at least 8 weeks. 4 to 6 weeks is not a real maternity leave. In the End, just listen to your intuition for you and your family. I’m so happy for you and your family. ❤
I have a 3 month old right now, I remember this phase well! I was a lot like you in many of these symptoms. For me the quickening felt like a little goldfish! I also had to pee constantly.. it's counterintuitive but sometimes drinking more water helped me last a little longer between the go's! Fit with Sally pregnancy workout/stretching videos are SO GOOD. I did her sciatic pain stretching vid at least once a week from late 2nd trimester onwards. The heartburn was the worst. Good luck, excited for you. :)
Hi Ashlynne, I’ve been a silent watcher of your channel for over a year now, and your miscarriage and rainbow baby story is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing so transparently every little detail 🤍 Personally, pregnancy isn’t for me, but I have been enjoying following yours 🥰 Also take all of the time off you need to focus on your new baby and recovering after birth! So excited for you, love from the PH 🇵🇭 ❤
You are looking great and I think you handle your pregnancy very well. I have no experience with being pregnant, I never wanted kids because I already was severely depressed when I was a little girl and I never wanted to have the change to pass that on to a child. And leaving TH-cam for some time is a really good decision. You just have to take your time with the baby and Christopher to enjoy everything and get used to everything.
Never been pregnant, but I’m a former NICU nurse. So I can completely understand the sense of peace of hitting 24 weeks. I know when I ever become pregnant, I will be very on edge just because of everything I know and seen 😅 but I enjoy any video you make and just being apart of your journey however you are willing to share. It’s also great to talk about these things to help others get insight on how different every experience will be
About to enter my second trimester and I can’t wait 😭 been sick with HG and it’s starting to lessen slowly and I’m praying for a amazing second trimester since this is my last baby 🤍
Current pregnant with our first, she was supposed to be due the 14th but coming in early next week. It’s crazy knowing how fast time is going and can’t wait to spend as much time with my little girl. Enjoy this time and take as long of maternity as you can. ❤😊
I really loved the fact you shared us the details of your pregnancy, your emotions… it is really comforting to have details about what I will feel when I will get pregnant. Thanks you so much
Congratulations Ashlynne ! I’m so happy for you and Christopher. I don’t have any kids nor am I currently pregnant. I am turning 29 this year and thinking about 31 might be the time for me. I’m starting to feel the need to be a mom. Excited for the future!
Definitely take your time coming back. I was totally shattered after my first. It’s such a massive change to life. Then I had twins 11 months later and it was totally different ! Had a brilliant routine and wasn’t much change at all 😊

Loved the update! Being 2 days away from entering my 17th week it’s nice to hear what might be down the road for me; although I guess I got lucky, ‘cause my energy is back to normal.
Don't let living in the US fool you with how long maternity leave should be. 3 months should be the bare minimum. I wouldn't go back to your usual work load until 6 months honestly, especially if you end up exclusively breastfeeding/pumping.
It’s 6 months minimum usually here in the UK, most take a year if it’s affordable for them. I had a friend go back after three months as she had a dream job lined up and it was so hard for her. I guess it all depends on your job, but yeah I was very surprised when I first heard what Americans are entitled to it’s not enough time at all.
I’ve had three children now and I have to say I’ve experienced postpartum hair loss after each birth, and it’s rough especially since no one warns you about that situation so if you find that after your baby is born in the future and you are loosing hair in clumps don’t be alarmed! It’s totally normal, not the best experience but it happens.
My kids are 15 and 9 now and i absolutely loved being pregnant ☺️ This is a lovely video, best wishes for the rest of this special time. I’ll be supporting your videos xx
It's wild how time flies, right??? I'm on my 26th week and I can relate to so many of the things you said!! 😂 I'm sure there are lots of new experiences and exciting times ahead!!❤️❤️ Btw, I'm really in nesting phase so I've been really enjoying your content lately, regarding decluttering and organization especially 😊 lots of love for the three of you!!! 🥰😘❤️
I'm a momma of 7, 3 adopted and 4 birth. I was severely nauseous the whole way through. Girl, I can tell some embarrassing vomit stories. But I look at the kids now, my baby is 15, and I wouldn't change it for the world!
We will miss you, but wouldn’t want you to be doing anything other than caring for your family. Come back as you are ready - no pressure. I stayed home with my children for 8 years. They are all grown now and I wouldn’t trade that time for anything. So happy for you!
Mommy of 2 precious little girls💕 25 months and 6 months old. Becoming a mother has been one of the best decisions of my life! I am Looking forward to having more babies in the future. So excited for you!! You are going to love being a mommy, it is the most fulfilling experience ❤
A period of postpartum rest is necessary. Let your body recover slowly. Don’t rush to upload the video. I believe everyone can understand. Thank you for your sharing. This video is very useful. I really like your pregnancy sharing. And i'm looking forward to your next video. Well wishes on your delivery. I'm here to accept your good luck.😇😇
Please take as long as you want for maternity leave! Would love to see more pregnancy/baby related content if you feel comfortable to do so! Congratulations and your looking beautiful ❤️
Currently at 36 weeks with my first! Second trimester was definitely my favorite time, but I think that was mostly due to being completely miserable the first trimester, and actually up to 17 or 18 weeks with hyperemesis. Even just getting up to shower would make me so sick, so I mostly was just one the couch for 3 months straight. So even though I was super tired, it hardly seemed like anything, now that I could finally eat! I felt my best with 12 (yes, 12!!!) hours of sleep up till the end of the 2nd, when I didn't need quite as much. Now I'm just waiting out the last few weeks!
Yep I have stuffy nose and nose bleeds every pregnancy, it’s so annoying 🫠 I’ve never flown while pregnant though so I can’t even imagine that. I also always have to pee the whole pregnancy 😬 That pregnancy pillow looks nice! I used a huge one in our queen bed for my last pregnancy and it was actually so great, you just roll over inside the pillow and it’s always there for you haha So happy for you and the progress of your pregnancy!! The final stretch is here! Praying for you and baby boy as labor and delivery gets closer! ❤❤
hi Ashley I am very happy and very very happy for you that you are enjoying this pregnancy and I am very happy that you are sharing about your pregnancy because that is a blessing to hear the blessings that God has given you all through your pregnancy keep on sharing the blessings that God hasyou look very happy and I love to see that because you are glowing and I am happy that God is blessing you and your husband with a beautiful blessing child hope to seemore videos about you talking about your pregnancy because you look so happy and that's what it's all about showing the joy and the blessing that God has given you thank God for your happiness and your pregnancy is coming to full turn I am happy for you God bless you and your husband and your baby❤🎉😊🙏🥰😁😁😁😘💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
when i had a loss. i saw your video and gave me hope. i am seeing a faint line today and will go to the dr next week for blood draw! i am praying for solid dye stealer! question, are you ocnsidered high risk? did your doctot allow you to exercise? i excercised everday with my first one but not sure if that caused my preterm :( i hope you can answer or create video of you daily life in this pregnancy. thank you!!!
Awww praying you get that as well! I’m not considered high risk, since everything has looked normal with this pregnancy so far. So yes, I’m allowed to exercise! 🤍🤍
Check out what Hana Louise Poston did for her recent maternity leave. She compiled a bunch of videos into themes and reposted them as giant recap uploads. So for you it could be a giant upload of all your clothing declutters, another of all your morning routines, etc. Some of these videos were crazy long and got so many views they broke the internet.
Totally under you taking time off to enjoy your new addition. Maybe post a picture from time to time. Or a short. Or - just take the time off! We love you and your growing family!
Mom of two (tween and teen). Babies keep you busy! The time after baby arrives can be really tiring! Plan for a new normal! My son was 10 pounds and slept thru the night earlier than most. My daughter didn't sleep thru the night at all for a very long time! Enjoy every minute because you will blink and they will be going to school!
I have had terrible heartburn with my babies and didn't like taking tums so often, so I tried a really disgusting method my midwife recommended: drinking a combination of apple cider vinegar and water. It helped majorly not only in the moment but long-term. The quickening is the best. I still vividly remember when I experienced it with my first baby; not so much the other three 😁
Going to the chiropractor before giving birth was a total game changer! My back and legs felt better. I even slept a little better. Also, heartburn is a sign he may have a lot of hair. I had the worst heartburn and people are shocked at how much hair he has 😂😂
I can’t 100% prove it, but I’m almost 100% sure that my use of Tums in my first pregnancy gave me gallbladder stones. (WORST pain I’ve ever experienced- worse than labor and birth). Out of an abundance of concern for you, I would advise to at least look into possible side effects of Tums use and maybe look into other ways to control your heart burn. This second pregnancy of mine, I’ve found that milk and papaya enzymes have helped a LOT. Heartburn is USUALLY the result of not enough acid… so I’ve heard ACV can help a lot of the time too.
So relatable!! 🙌 my second trimester was similar, I didn’t feel the “energy” until closer to 20 weeks or so as well. But I also went on summer vacay as a teacher at that point too so I think it helped that I wasn’t on my feet anymore 😂 For me I had super nausea and aversions to food up until 18 weeks. The nausea and heartburn eventually got better but the aversions for sure stayed around, even just the smell of certain foods cooking made me feel sick. I feel like the 2nd trimester I also had more cravings and yes the belly grows so much at that point!! 🥹 I highly recommend a pelvic floor therapist that really was life changing for me having someone not only help me prepare for birth and strength my pelvic floor and body but even postpartum too. I am so glad to hear you are doing well and definitely don’t be afraid to take time for you and your family after baby comes, its just a beautiful time for you and Christopher to bond with the baby and spend time together as a family in the thick of the newborn stage, it’s magical and crazy in all the best ways ♥️♥️
Congratulations, if I remember correctly the 2nd trimester is supposed to be the "easiest". No more morning sickness and still small enough to have energy ❤
The one and only time I threw up in my pregnancy was almost the same scenario 🤣 My first meal of the day was a bowl of tomato soup and the acid on an empty stomach was so bad 😅
These may be obvious suggestions…but I would recommend being sure to do a lot of frozen meal prep. Yes, friends and family may help and bring food/ meals but if you have your own home cooked meals frozen then it will be just that much longer that you do not have to be doing all the planning , shopping, and making meals. Do as much ahead of time as you reasonably can, the more the better , at least one month worth. Sort of in the same vain…again another way to be sure to give yourself as much time off as possible ( postpartum) and yet perhaps not lose needed income is to prerecord/ edit videos and then just post them further apart during your ‘time off’. I follow some other TH-camrs that do this so they are technically off work but the pre-made videos help bridge the gap. I would think this would greatly help in reducing any stress or pressure one might feel to ‘ go back to work’ sooner than what would really be most ideal. Just some suggestions, you know what can realistically work for yourself. Looking forward to hearing how the final trimester goes. Some videos on this that I would recommend is from Delilah Loeppky (LoeppkysLife) as she somewhat recently ( 2 months ago?) had her 4 th baby and one of her videos/ vlogs ( pre baby) had a lot to do with the meal prep.
Seeing how God is working, prayers being answered, miracles, and God's peace in you is so beautiful ❤️ And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

My mom had terrible stretch marks- I used Palmers and Bio Oil during both of my pregnancies and I have zero stretch marks 🙌🏻
Congrats again Ashlynne. So happy for all three of you. ☺️
Very excited for you guys with your baby, and thanks for sharing your journey and plans. Looking forward to seeing your next video and take care ❤
Thank you so much for the beautiful update!
I also always have to pee the whole pregnancy 😬
That pregnancy pillow looks nice! I used a huge one in our queen bed for my last pregnancy and it was actually so great, you just roll over inside the pillow and it’s always there for you haha
So happy for you and the progress of your pregnancy!! The final stretch is here! Praying for you and baby boy as labor and delivery gets closer! ❤❤
Thank you so much!! Haha and yes, I had no idea the whole stuffiness nosebleed thing was something a ton of people experience!
Already? So happy for you! Love your videos.
It’s wild how time flies!!

Sometimes with heartburn you can drink larger amounts of water. It can help sometimes
The Flo app is the best 😊 congrats again ❤

Lucky baby to have such great parents!
when i had a loss. i saw your video and gave me hope. i am seeing a faint line today and will go to the dr next week for blood draw! i am praying for solid dye stealer! question, are you ocnsidered high risk? did your doctot allow you to exercise? i excercised everday with my first one but not sure if that caused my preterm :( i hope you can answer or create video of you daily life in this pregnancy. thank you!!!
Awww praying you get that as well! I’m not considered high risk, since everything has looked normal with this pregnancy so far. So yes, I’m allowed to exercise! 🤍🤍
A very good job on this video, Ashlynne!❤❤
Thank you Ervin!!
You’re welcome, Ashlynne!
Pleins de bonheurs a vous ashlynne et que votre grossesse se passe bien 😊😊
I’m 18 weeks and I have been SO tired! Everyone told me I would get a burst of energy too, but nope. Glad I’m not alone lol 😊
I still vividly remember when I experienced it with my first baby; not so much the other three 😁
What is a baby registry
Going to the chiropractor before giving birth was a total game changer! My back and legs felt better. I even slept a little better. Also, heartburn is a sign he may have a lot of hair. I had the worst heartburn and people are shocked at how much hair he has 😂😂
Mum of 2 son's, 3rd and 4th time lucky. Sick every day with both and both born naturally 2nd in the car. Wouldn't change any of it for anything
Seeing how God is working, prayers being answered, miracles, and God's peace in you is so beautiful ❤️
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7
no kids with 2 legs. I have kids with 4 legs meow
I'm not pregnant and I'm not going to have children but I enjoy watching videos about pregnancy anyway.
More meat protein for energy boost, especially red meat. Eat a steak with extra salt and you will feel like super woman!
I am not pregnant but I want that pillow! Lol
