too bad there never was an original "Independance Day" movie made in the early or late 1950s before the 1996 movie was made, then the movie from 1996 would be the 90s reboot
Given that "Independence Day" is basically a ripoff of "The War of the Worlds," I was kind of expecting the alien spaceships in a 1950s version to resemble George Pal'a Martian war machines.
I wish many films of the past could be re-made in real time to include a black man as the hero. But it would mean time traveling back about 75 years from the 50s to prevent the advent of Jim Crow segregation.
The actual film wouldn't be out of place in the 50's with it's serious "Hoo-rah" patriotism.
Beautifully made and technically well implemented. That's a lot of work. I like it
😂 This is better than the original. In honor of Captain Thomas F. Mantell!!
Wow.....AI is opening a whole new world of entertainment......gimme more.

"Keep my wife's name out yo mouf!"
These are great. Love them to death.
The planes in the 50's were jets not props. You got WWII looking planes.
Jets sabrewulfs I think... Thats is more accurate

The music is totally wrong. Otherwise, great.
The music is ridiculous.

It's only a "ripoff" in that they were aliens in both stories. The plot, meaning, metaphor, and especially the ending are vastly different.
ID4 was great
