I was in love with Christine McVie back in 1977. She was gorgeous then and still is. Love her songs.
Same with me. I was waiting someone to declare that. In the 80s, in college, I had a classmate who was a lot like Christine. In looks, elegance, charisma and I told her that and she was happy because she loved Fleet. I fell in love with Silvia too 😅

When I was 14 I met Christine, then Perfect, when she was playing in one of the earlier Fleetwood Mac lineups. Her future husband on bass. I still remember asking for her autograph right before the sound check. She looked breathtaking (even to a young kid) with her lovely long blond hair and her filigrane features. She asked if I played any instruments, and I said „yes, guitar and piano“. She laughed and said, „well, then we‘re colleagues - I hope you‘re not too critical about my playing.“ 😁
It‘s great to see one of my music idols today - still in good health, making music and looking as good as ever!

Christine is the most underrated member of Fleetwood Mac....amazing musician. She was trained classically on the the piano at a very early age. My Mum's name is Christina...so I have always liked her....peace.

Christine Anne McVie Passed Away today Nov 30, 2022 was an English musician, and the vocalist and keyboardist of Fleetwood Mac, which she joined in 1970. She also released three solo albums.
Sad to hear of her passing. A great musical talent who has a legacy that will live on, God bless her and her family, friends and fans.
Hard to believe she was 74 when this interview was recorded. RIP Christine ..you were brilliant. Never forget Main Rd Manchester August 1990.

Christine was often overshadowed by Stevie Nicks, but Ms. McVie actually wrote or co-wrote half of Fleetwood Mac's greatest hits...and her beautiful singing voice was just as unique as Stevie's...
Each band mate has their own style, but the way this group jelled...the good and bad times they shared...the emotional pain they endured...The music produced as a result cannot be matched, and will live forever..!

of all the "old wave bands" (pre punk) Fleetwood mac were my fav ahead of Led Z and the Rolling stones. Always had a crush on Christine , when all my friends fancied Stevie Nicks. A soulful voice , a brilliant song writer and one of the greatest talents too come out of the English Midlands

I was blown away as a kid by the Peter Green version of Fleetwood Mac and has since been an ardent follower of the band through the decades. I've always been blown away by the collective, but also the individual brilliance of every single member. Truly one of the great bands of the last 50 plus years. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for having brought so much joy and happiness to my life. Cheers from South Africa.

Fell in love with their music as a teenager in the 1980s when I heard Tango in the Night.........both romantic and glamorous in a big way

Been a fan of Christine ever since I heard her on the Fleetwood Mac's Future Games album back 1969/70. I remember I was impressed by her being the songwriter AND keyboardist in the band.

I always liked Fleetwood Mac and their music and their aura. I especially liked and enjoyed Christine's voice in their songs. My favorite is 'Over My Head', an all time classic. I will miss Christine. She had a certain class and poise besides extraordinary talent.

Chrissy is my all-time favorite female musician. The song "Why?" by Fleetwood Mac on the album Mystery to My is Chrissy's masterpiece. She is brilliant.
Kaden Tinksters yep it's a great song and the slide guitar by Weston at the start really makes it.
I've rarely listened to Fleetwood Mac's pre-1975 material, although I am quite curious about the early contributions of such early members as Jeremy Spencer and Bob Weston (I know, Weston came along considerably later than Spencer or Peter Green).
Christine did a great but highly underrated song from their 1975 self-titled album called Warm Ways which features an electric piano that sounds similar (just generally, not note-for-note) to the electric piano that would appear two years later on How Deep Is Your Love by the Bee Gees!
I love that album as much as Rumors-love every album they made actually.
I so agree about "Warm Ways", one of my favorite songs from Christine. It's hard to choose from her catalog, but Warm Ways is top notch
