Car shop wanted $1000 to change my spark plugs, I did it myself from watching this video, spent a total of $30 for the spark plug wrench and 4 NGK spark plugs. thanks soo much for making it easy.

Nice job!!! I would report that shop to consumer affairs that’s way above beyond any labor that is required to replace spark plugs

so if you have oil in the plug holes id that the tappet cover gasket needs changing? Does a bit of oil cause problems in the coils as can't affect the spark plug can it as it's sealed into the head? Thanks

Safety first. "DISCONNECT" the battery before working on the engine especially on the ignition system. "DO NOT PLACE ANY METAL OR TOOLS ON TOP OF YOUR BATTERY" Use proper tools, spark plug socket wrenches have a rubber insert at the end which is used to pick up and insert the spark plug safely to the cylinder hole to avoid dropping them. Always use a calibrated torque wrench. The bolts and nut for the coils have torque specs too. Good try though.
