Trick of the day... once you've created that 'cup', duplicate it (Shf-D), leave it right where the original was. Using a Solidify, adjust the thickness of the 2nd cyliner, outwards, so it's thickness is two or three times the thickness of the original cylinder. Use that 2nd cylinder as your effector, and you won't get those pesky leaks out of the bottom.

Please explain how to remove the water from the small cube

hey so umm, the big square is still visible and hidng it hides the liquid too. what do i do here
edit: nvm, set shader alpha to 0

Hey Kenny! Have you ever wondered how can you fill a cup with the flow source at the bottom of the cup? Cause when you want to try it, the liquid surface doesn't rise past the flow source!

This might give you errors yes unless you use the Flip Fluids add-on. But I will experiment with this in the future!

@@KennyPhases I am using Flip Fluids, but doesn't help with this, I tried key framing the flow source along the liquid surface rising up, but it looks kinda odd, give it a try 👌🏽

@@farhadkhosravi4630 Yup I will eventually try it!

What did you do to make the water come out? I found it in the big square and not in the small one. I don't get anything similar to water. I obviously have a blender that is older than yours. How do I still manage to get the small square to come out with water as the water came out nicely from the bottom? Please help more so that I can continue the creation. Thank you.

Please message me on instagram with screenshots so I can further help assist you! Your settings will also definitely have to be expirimented with!

You have to ADD the source of the water. It can be anything, a cube, a pyramid, a cylinder, a sphere. doesnt matter. But you have to ADD an object to your scene in order to have a "flow-source". Once you have your flow source you'll need to select it and add the fluid-flow property. And then you can move the flow source to wherever you choose and BAKE the simulation!

is there away to have it intereact and make objects float/Sink in it?
Something Like ice-cream Chunks Sinking Deeper and Deeper until it Dissapears - or have Objects Slide With the water so it looks like its getting Taken Towards a Direction?...
(Complet Noob when it comes towards Simulations xD)...

I believe you can do things like that with FLIP FLUIDS add-on! I'm not sure about normal fluid simulations in Blender though!

I was wondering, i was using a mineral water bottle as seen on supermarket. I experience the fluid is not filling up the sides of the bottle. there are still gaps. I have the surface thickness to 0.6, but still even lowering it still causing gaps. do you know the fix?

What resolution? Sometimes you have to keep raising the resolution!

@@KennyPhases i have set it to 100. also i have set the flow off at frame 1 but start at frame 42. i have bake it. but when the water is not flowing the domain becomes solid. but after reaching frame 42 onwards the domain is not solid anymore. how to get rid of this?

@@terrytjandra You will have to send me a screenshot on Instagram, I would have to visually see a recording of what is happening to help solve this issue. Thank you! In the meantime, you can also check the Blender Discord server and ask your question there too!
