Good man! My experience with glow plugs was limited to an alcohol fuel Cox 0.49 Super Bee motor with only one piston, so I'm very grateful to have more familiarity with the maintenance of something like the one I owned, that actually works for people.
Nice exposé on injectir testing. Zero BS and just relevant details. It's getting such that I really feel pleased to see new videos from the 'mog battle or what it is that's on your channel. I don't mind watching long videos! If you can manage to upload them I'll manage to watch them.😉
Dear TAT guy 👍👌👏 Very well done again and as always (video and work). Maaan, I somehow miss my Mercedes Benz Diesel cars (W114/115, W123, W124) where maintenance and repairs were still as simple respectively relatively easy and relatively inexpensive as shown here (although younger than this Unimog). I'm eagerly looking forward to watch the next video and maybe already hear this iconic engine nailing again. 😁 ;-) Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and health in particular.
Awesome, this was great! I disagree, I do not think this is "small stuff" I think it is super important, looking forward to the next video! Cheers from Serbia PS 21:23 really made me laugh :D
These are all great finds. Worth a lot of Euros! Sad to think why this is true as of today now but still in understanding how these items "created peace in the barn yard" i personally believe quite strongly in this mission of course.
Have you watched MercedesSource' videos? They make a tester by converting a hydraulic bottle jack. They spray into a closed bottle with a ventilation hose, which you stick out the window
Great video as usual. I’ve owned diesels since 1995 and still don’t know how they work. Very educational 👍🏻👍🏻. Are you thinking of adding a turbo? Is it possible?
Thanks a lot! And yeah, it is possible. But you have to be a little creative to fit it, as there isn't much room for turbos, on these old round-cabs. So i'm not planning on it, for this one. But i might just do it on the other one that i have :) Thanks for watching along!
Great content! Thank you for sharing, I have a unimog 416, 1981 and I just cannot make it brake right, sometimes the pedal goes all the way down, I pump and goes normal, if I keep it halfway and then bottom, again loose braking power, master and slave cylinder new, drum brake liners new, just serviced the booster, what do you think is the problem?, thank you!!
Well, it's hard to tell from here. But two things come to mind. Either there is still some air, somwhere in your system. Or, there is a fault with your new master cylender. (Internal leak) If you can pump the pedal, and get pressure, and then hold the pedal, and it slowly goes all the way down. Then you have a leak. And if nothing is coming out anywhere, it is an internal leak. Hope this helps! And thanks for watching along!
Hi... Im from Israel and i have 2 unimog. The first one 416/1970, and the other is 406/1975. I have changed for new tiers on my 416 and i have to make some adjasments...do u have an idea hoe to do so?
Still the best way to start a Friday morning, wake up, make coffee and watch Team Army Trucks... Great job man, that unimog is looking fantastic
Very informative. I have a yanmar diesel on my boat, this helps me understand what is going on.
Too Long? Can watch this all day 😀Good Vid fun to see thanks.
Coming along nicely... enjoyed the turbo impression! Sounds like someone has spent a good part of their youth working on that turbo sound!!
Haha well yes, i guess it was not only in my youth :)

Excellent job, thanks
Another great video, thank you!
Tremendous progress this week!
yes, those injectors were filthy.
Happy Solstice. Welcome to summer!
Can't wait to see it fired up! Good work!

Nothing wrong with the longer videos :) Keep up the good work !
Thanks for the quick injector testing guide ! Great content as always, cheers
As always, great video, really enjoyed it 👍 😊
Incredible! Nice work!

A fan blowing the fumes away from you is wise also in addition to your respirator . You can also use mineral spirits.

Brilliant videos mate! I’m subscribed 🤙

Well, It would be pretty neat with some ventilation on it.
@@KJOff-Road th-cam.com/video/ATNRoF5afW4/w-d-xo.html Simple but it seems like it works
can you get new throttle ball joints linkages to go on the end of those rods
Yes.
The ones i put on here, were not anything unimog-specific. They were just standard M5 Ball joints.
I❤unimog

A great video. Interesting. As you mentioned turbo, has a turbo kit been made for this engine?
Not that i know of.
The few turbo set-ups i have seen, have been home-built.
🇦🇺great video again

Well, that depends what it is, that you want/need to adjust?
vender gas pedalen ikke forkert?
Heh, nej, den er god nok.
Det set lidt mærkeligt ud, men den pedal jeg montere her, er ikke den man sidder og trykker på med foden.
At 24.36 min = ??? "Get your hand out of the gutter!"
Lubricating both the tip and the shaft before inserting joke
Jeg glæder mig til den første lancering af maskinen.
No Turbo.....yet
'Promosm' 😁
good video again, its comimg on now
