@@renren47618 As a Hero and Robin player, if you gave Robin Hero's mobility, Robin might have an argument for Top Tier. Him being fast would allow for far more room for error on combos and allow for even more crazy ones.

Smash is meant to celebrate video game genre's. RPG"s might the biggest one in Japan. Since Smash is designed by the Japanese, you can fill in blanks.
Also if Smash is not an RPG, then why does Dragon Quest Hero and Shulk have unique mechanics????
This is why I consider Banjo Kazooie a miracle that he's in Smash, because he's the first fully western character added.
Sephiroth kit's design philosophy is basically:
"Okay, how strong can it be without being OP?"
I feel like the idea was to make him feel like a playable boss and they nailed it.
This is the one time Sakurai actually balanced him out
Weight, a preference for midrange combat and limited OoS
Generally well designed with a useful but not game breaking catch up mechanic
Making him lite was kinda dum tho
He can be annoying but yeah he's not game breaking. I've also been maining Mario and his neutral and side B are basically unusable unless you want to die
He’s balanced for sure should a tad heavier though I’d say like 90 weight would be good 95 at the absolute most considering cloud is 100 and joker is 93
Him and sora are probably the least broken wave 2 characters oddly enough.

Sephiroth actually is one of the most true to game characters in smash bc of how powerful he is
I dont know if it is sarcasm, but sephiroth in smash is nowhere near as powerful as what he really is. Sephiroth can tank hits, in smash he cannot, he dies in 1 hit. Seph is ultra fast in his games, in smash he is the slowest as he gets.

The funny thing is, as powerful as Sephiroth is, he's basically useless if you're being hounded by more than two other players and you suck at timing.
