Wait so Steve has:
- 4 neutral b’s.
- Best edge guard in the game.
- Side b has super armor, and is a speeding grab.
- Can platform camp ON A STAGE WITH NO PLATFORMS.
- Diamond tools do insane damage and kills very fast.
-He has an anvil that kills fast, can mine on, and can jump off of.
-Can place blocks in mid air. (Is it possible to place blocks midair in Minecraft?)
I actually never knew he had 4 neutral b’s that’s crazy.
Can grab on anvil as well. Place it on a block, grab, then plummet to death with your victim.
Adjustments
It's not really possible to place a block midair, although, if you have a "barrier" block on all the walls in the background, you can place blocks against it. Barrier blocks however, are not available in survival mode.
@@ValunarTonix barrier blocks would still be blocks though
If you're in survival it never is possible to place blocks in the air without anything to place it on
However you can place blocks in the air with commands, which requires cheats
To be more accurate about side-b, it has an amount of health. Since this health is tied to the cart, you can still hit Steve to knock him out of it. Most projectiles will destroy the cart.
PK Fire in particular will destroy the cart and trap Steve in the fire.
Up to this point, every single video was canon, but sadly not this one.
I just want to remind everyone that Sakurai is one of the Minecraft OGs and i love him for it.

This is the longest Sakurai when designing video to date, and will probably remain the longest one.
I had a lot of other stuff I wanted to go over like how diamond tools are basically arsene or how steve has brawl gliding, etc etc
but the video is already almost 10 minutes. Keeping these videos short *and* covering everything is impossible, so please understand if I missed Steve tech #458.

As someone who plays hard characters for fun, and has labbed with every single character, Steve is definitely the most complicated.

@@boomdx2109 Easy? Yes but Smash players struggle with doing the simplest inputs another reason why the FGC looks down upon them they'd rather spam PK Fire than learn an actual character

Sakurai actually wrote an essay on Minecraft, he seems to have a good understanding of the game's appeal. Guy doesn't get enough credit for both his endless, tireless work and knowledge of good game design.

The characters can only move in a 2D plane. This implies that in front of them and behind them there are Barrier Blocks, explaining why Steve can place blocks in mid-air.

Have to say, I'm very impressed on how you did the voice acting as I had to immediately stop by after watching a Mario Fire Safety video from another TH-camr and had to add this to my playlist whenever I get to purchase Steve myself later in the future! ^.^
