The alert though is pretty terrifying. If it actually happens, I would probably cry because death is inevitable. I could escape it for a little while, but eventually everyone but me would be a zombie, and my only hope is to fly a rocket off into outer space. Or just live on an uninhabited island or in Antarctica, just well away from any kind of previous human civilization. It’s not like a video game where if I die, I can just come right back and pretend nothing happened. Once I die, I’m just completely dead, and then no healthy people exist anymore. That false alarm that Hawaii recieved was by far one of the most terrifying things i could ever imagine. Those people thought their lives were about to end.
In argentina at 3 AM i was awake i think it sounded a Simulacrum or Drill alarm,i thought i was gonna die,for real Hawaii's alarm is more panicker than argentina's alarm, really sad for me and Hawaii.
I know this is kind of off-topic, but a comment reminded me of this. I remember, when I would sleep on the top junk of my bed, and my sister would sleep at the bottom, I would hear growling and crying outside my house. I remember bawling my eyes out, too nervous to even get out of my bed. Nonetheless, I did, and told my parents. There was some dude outside my door, seemingly clawing? At it. He was holding something too, I'm sure of it. My parents told me to ignore it, and went straight to bed. I couldn't sleep, and the crying got louder, so did the growling. After listening to it more and more, it turned out it was just my sisters snoring. I remember slapping her to wake up and the growling stopped. Still doesn't explain the creepy dude outside my door though.
Number 6 can be caused by the National Weather Service lowering the pitch of the voice (this is more common with the "Tom" voice.) Number 5 could have been broadcast difficulties were the alert wasn't transmitted correctly. But those EAS tones are at 0.80x speed. Number 4 is normal. *It's normal for the screen to go blank before displaying or playing the message.* *Some stations may use a scroll bar, rather than going blank, depending on the station.* Number 3 and 2 are caused by hijackings (which are highly illegal and can lead to hefty fines.) Number 1 was a wrong button push. An Administrative Message (ADR) was sent out about 45 minutes after the Civil Danger Warning (CDW) was sent out.
Guys, don’t watch this home alone, I thought somebody was breaking in from the noises and background noises Edit: Also, this happened again in Hawaii in early 2023 or late 2022. It was a false missile alert which lead millions into sheltering.

There was another scary one that was also false... I believe it was. It was the Tsunami Warning that was in California in 2011 on the 11th of March or April. That was pretty scarce as well. But, I was not too sure if that was false or true.
The thumbnail is the Japan “march 11” incident. (I won’t get into too much detail but on march 11 2011 in Japan a major tsunami happened from east Japan caused by a 8.9 earthquake that 10 hours later killed a lot of people at Hawaii that couldn’t get away in time because it was a major tsunami and it was around 12:50 am in Hawaiian standard time at the time of hitting.)
On my last day of 5th grade, a tornado touched down near my elementary school, and we where terrified, and we just sat there for an hour, but turns out it touched town in my cousins friends backyard, there was furniture in the pool, and there trampoline was 7 houses down in the top of a tree.
Okay so there was actually an incident like the hawaii missile alert in canada, except it was for a nuclear power plant. On January 12th, 2020 at around 7:23 A.M. EST, an alert was sent out across all of ontario stating that an incident was reported at the pickering nuclear generating station. The alert would be the only ever radiological hazard alert sent. Which read: "This is a province of Ontario emergency bulletin which applies to people within ten (10) kilometres of the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station. An incident was reported at the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station. There has been NO abnormal release of radioactivity from the station and emergency staff are responding to the situation. People near the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station DO NOT need to take any protective actions at this time. Remained tuned into local media for further information and instructions." At 9:11 A.M. A correction error would be sent almost 2 hours later, which also read: "There is NO active nuclear situation taking place at the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station. The previous alert was issued in error. There is no danger to the public or environment. No further action is required." Pretty scary stuff.
my biggest fear is definitely EAS alarms. i have so much trauma and fear for it. my parents always say, “your overreacting! that’s not scary, your just dramatic. go to bed.” and i would always tell them if i can stay awake until it stops. because for some reason, in california, it takes a while for it to stop. and once it was a thunderstorm that lasted 7 hours at night. my mom doesn’t care if i shit myself during these tbh
These alarms still scare me till this day like the eas one time my mom when to the laundry I think and I was little and siren head was popular at the time then my moms phone starting sounding the eas alarm and I thought it was siren head I went under the cover 😂 💀
