Fun fact to you all: If you ever see the American flag put upside down, as they did here, it means that the people flying it and the people around them are in extreme danger.
@@MipsyIsMyRealDogLol No problemo! Imagine you're driving down a freeway, and see an upside-down American flag near a building of any sort. It's not usually a mistake, because if you put the flag up upside-down by accident, you immediately fix that. So if you see it up and flying the wrong way, you'd better get yourself away from that area and to a safe place. It's just the agreed-upon way to say shit's gone and gotten fucked up
Fun fact! Contrary to popular belief, if a zombie outbreak were to actually occur, They'd most likely die within the first 2-3 days due to natural predators like maggots and weather tearing them apart.
Not to mention that if humans were somehow pushed to the brink of extinction because of them (unlikely because of militaries), then zombies would likely starve to death or kill each other. Parasite or Virus, the host still needs to sustain itself
The public especially in rural areas would civilly disobey all gun laws from day 1 and hopefully prepare defensive communes. if the US Kept up with it's Militia to Federal troops Ratio properly as postulated by the founding fathers in Federalist Paper number 46 instead of Federalizing all of them and making any ad hoc Militias like the Korea Town defense massacre illegal, i expect one way to signal you are not infected to be a fire fight. the AVO itself would be Pronounced so it's almost doubtless if you've been infected. 18-19 million Men, Women and Children fighting for friends and family will certainly do better than 1.5 professionals who profess at bombing the homes of other people only under Orders. 13:1 Ratio is Easy for us to Muster in men and gun but Logistically difficult without Institutionalized Local Militias. if it can be bought on black market to bypass the law then it's kinda unconstitutional to be restricted if it's a Gun Law. undeniably so if you Study the Role of Muskets in 1700s and 1800s Warfare being the Assault rifle of it's time and pinnacle of Defense. swords were equatable to an officer's pistol, Spears were sub-planted by Rifles Mounted by Bayonets for Pike and Shot Tactics that were tried and true by Centuries. Owning Artillery for an average civilian especially a neighborhood was a recommendation to keep logistics nice and easy in the event of circumstantial commandeering of assets Realistically, the Military should be linking up and supplying ammunition to those willing to fight and quarantining neighborhoods to ensure an uninfected population. the US Government does in Fact have a Real Plan for a Zombie outbreak. being overrun from supply points should be considered the Worst form of Defeat for it Created a Shortage for everyone involved, weather or not there's a Surviving industry. I Recommend using bayonets mounted to weapons be it Rifle, Intermediate or Subcaliber Weaponry. better than any suppressed weapons and if used right, more effective. medieval tactics alone would make it a blood bath for zombies. add in artillery on demand and precision bombardment and entire hoards would be decimated before we even see infantry opening fire for effect. killing them in small numbers before they could mount into hordes would be a good containment strategy. or making a Hindenburg line killing field since zombies are too dumb to use anything typically that the allies used to break the aforementioned line in a head on fight if prepared we will usually win if not hold the line. we only lose if politicians lose sight of the contingency plans and in effect make it become a surprise attack. Survivors are Crucial to the endeavor of Reconnaissance. Militias are the people's Army, not the Federals who'd gun grab if their constitution that guaranteed their existence wasn't in the way. crush the feds before thier commands weaken our lines with unnecessary non-logistical complications. let them rule normalcy the people can depose it as they will, that's a rule enshrined by the USA known as Consent of the Governed. the Democratic Enclave Strategy is literally what our system was meant to use, Not Federal Overture. Federal Overture only extends to keeping the Nation Cohesive in Affairs larger than itself. unfortunately we strayed from that purpose as soon Precedents were Established that put an overwhelming amount of Trust in the Federal system. Zombies don't need Logistics, We do, let's understand that before we Accidentally Over Diagnose and Accidentally Cause a Collapse of the Country from Logistical Misunderstanding.
"Avoid making noise while moving so as not to draw attention to yourself" The guy on the first floor on the hotel in an urban area, hearing this broadcast playing extremely loud: "Well shit."
I mean, you could have chosen a worse spot; if you found yourself in an outbreak, you have more options on what to do the lower you are to the ground. You can leave, go upstairs (not the best idea due to you being cornered at a high elevation, but shit can hit the fan any time, and you probably could gather sheets for a rope), or simply stay where you are until you make a plan.
I like this scenario. It seems like a fairly realistic way of approaching how the US Government would react to a zombie apocalypse. Passing laws removing human rights from zombies and removing gun laws in favor of arming as many citizens as possible against the zombies. "There is no need to call authorities and tell them what you have done." "Once the situation is back to normal, the government will not keep any records of the weapons you have used." These are my favorite lines. It makes sense that some people might kill a zombie, then, in their panic, call the police to turn themselves in, internally guilty that they did just technically kill a human. The government is also just sort of just throwing its hands up and saying "Go wild." That's probably how they'd actually do it.
it clears up the questions that aren’t often answered in apocalyptic scenarios; is it legal to injure or kill affected humans? what about hunting for food, looting, etc.
Guns would be the biggest assets in such scenarios, It's better to remove laws regarding it and arm everyone if such thing happens, That's what would effectively increase the chances of survival
@@StarField369 I think that it would still be a crime to harm/injure/kill a non-infected person. you probably wouldn’t get caught because all resources, manpower and logistics would be devoted to stopping the spread of infected headed westward towards California. The police and army in a walking dead scenario would be so encumbered by waves upon waves of infected. Imagine trying to clear out a town, let alone a small city. They wouldn’t have any time to investigate or follow up on anyone, let alone even consider it. I can maybe see them keeping EMS on with maybe a huge wait time, since, let’s be real here, we wouldn’t fall to TWD zombies.
@@homeone01 We eventually would tho, as stated in TWD (at least the TV series), everyone is already infected with the virus, and when they die, they come back unless the brain is destroyed.
@@homeone01 The only main reason the US government fell to the Zombies in TWD was because zombies didnt exist in that universe and also fresh zombies there were kinda fast and smart so they didnt know how they worked or how the virus spread or how to even contain it
Zombies haven't scared me in a while. But this definitely does. The "This is not a drill and this is not a test". It's just really creepy and the sounds glitch sometimes. It just seems real and is a possible scenario.
@@maxnotamenace seeing comments like yours calms me down whenever I see stuff like this, I get quite strong anxiety whenever I hear/see anything zombie related. Thanks
I love when these EAS scenarios have a line like "stay as quiet as possible" or something like that. Meanwhile the fcking emergency alert is aways loud af lmao
I really like these videos, however the choppy/glitchiness of the voice at some points in this video really makes it less scary in my opinion. Much preferred when they were more realistic in terms of seeming like a legitimate broadcast and not like a horror movie. Made it much scarier that way!
@@alertworld Of course! At the end of the video I found it pretty fitting though! Can I also say, your WW3 video was probably my favorite? Actually freaked me out. Great use of playing on current world events!
In events like this id expect the system to start breaking down If it was like this in real life local systems nation wide would be extremely damaged due to the events of the outbreaks such as mass car crashes, plane crashes, gas line failures, power lines being cut, tv stations and radio stations being abandoned, cities being set on fire to get rid of the infected These kinds of civil break downs will damage any systems no matter how well they are designed and maintained
I think the glitching at the end makes it more creepy because of the fact that the broadcast systems are breaking down. Also, how they say “The United States Federal Government has currently fallen” and “May God watch over you all” makes this message 10x scarier, because it shows that you’re on your own.
@Anders More or less what it means is all forms of government, including the military has been disbanded due to absolute hell. The US Military's job is to protect the homefront and to prevent it from breaking down there are several leaders more or less. Now imagine all the people on top, which includes Generals, the president, any powerful authority, all of them being killed. Even if there are 99% of the military left, without leaders you have a pack of dogs without a leader. At this point your in a hostile landscape with no community, your more or less done for because whatever got past one of the strongest military complexes on the planet... and your about to find out what.
I love the use of the American Flag Code, The flag being upside down in the last transmission. Its a code used for anyone that is in distress or is in need for immediate attention by local law enforcement. A+ for your work on this video man!
It's also something like that with the Philippine flag! Look closely at the Philippine flag here: 🇵🇭 you see that the blue side is up? That means all's well and there is no war, no nuclear attack ANYTHING! But when the red side of the flag is up that means some kind of war is going on and that you should well, GET OUTTA THERE
@@ZanVXD014 You could have just said it works the same for your flag as well..... not explain to me the whole idea of what i just said but in different words.
To anyone thinking the glitching isnt scary, these are organized as a compilation. In my mind these were FOUND recordings that have degraded after a severe amount of time, making it far more scary as it means society took a long time to recover, or mankind has passed and these are simple artifacts from a new species or alien species.
"May God watch over you all." Gives me the chills every time. It, along with the upside-down United States flag, just goes to show, we're all on our own.
I love how this isn't just "Scary zombie, kill now and don't take much seriously." It actually takes some caution and adds the awareness of the situation of keeping calm and organized until once serious enough, turns into a kill or be killed situation. The most unsettling part in my opinion is the rotation of the flag in the end turning downwards, meaning dire stress and severe dangerous probability of destruction and havoc reaching property and society itself.
I actually got really bad chills at the end. “The United States Federal Government had fallen” is something nobody anywhere wants to see. Extreme emergency and danger is what that indicates. “May God bless you all” holy crap I’m not sleeping bro
also, apperently thanks to Calebrobbins, "If you ever see the American flag put upside down, as they did here, it means that the people flying it and the people around them are in extreme danger." so there's also that...
As others have said, the stuttering TTS isn't all that immersive or scary. I thought it was very fitting on the very last alert when the government collapsed and the EAS looked like it too feel apart, but it's more or less annoying when it happens on all the alerts, unless there's more indications that the EAS is deteriorating (which there wasn't). On another note, I think you may have some of your dates in reversed order. The third alert takes place on Oct 25 while the fourth occurs on Oct 12.
Which alert was the latest one? I've seen all of these broadcasting on TVs all across my sub-universe's Earth over the past few weeks. Oh yeah make sure you're prepared for Armageddon by around 2032 some serious shit starts happening around then.
This stuff legit gave me chills. For some reason seeing the United States government falling and the narrator's voice being so corrupted made my blood run cold. This is some quality content, keep up the work man!
I would genuinely love this EAS scenario to be continued, maybe either in another continent or a continuation of the USA scenario, maybe the radio lines get brought back up (assuming that is what happened) and the USA government is able to give more information to the citizens. I hope to see this continued somehow.
Kermit is here today to sing a very special song just for people like you: I'm gonna make the whole world deaf, with all of your screams, doo da la doo da la doo
The glitchy effects work well at the last moments where the government has fallen, but across the whole span of the alerts, they are better unused until a true dire situation has been reached. Great work though, these still give me the chills
When I heard that, I felt like the alert was rushed, which indicates that the situation is escalating quiclky and that there is no time to correct audio file errors.
Is it me or did this *actually* give this chills? The bad signal radio background and the US Government not using the name “zombie” right away was a nice touch. EDIT: HOW HAVE I NOT NOTICED THIS THE LAST EIGHT MONTHES THANK YOU FOR OVER 1.5K LIKES! ALSO EDIT: I'M OFFICIALY A BROTHER-IN-LAW TODAY!
Just like The Walking Dead. They never say the word “zombie” in the entire series, which makes the concept of a zombie more foreign and unknown in their “universe”
Despite this being an obvious fiction, It still gives me chills just how much each of the EAS changes, really showing how worse the outbreak became. I kept thinking if I was in this situation, would I be safe? would they help me? what if there's nowhere to go? what if I couldn't get updates about the outbreak? Anyways, this is the first time i visited your channel and Im already very much impressed by the amount of detail and effort you put into these, keep up the great work
same. But to be honest i feel if this would be true, there would be a lot of insects eating all the zombies (it would still be creepy to see all thar shit happening) and a lot of natrual elements would affect the zombies a lot, and they will eventually die also due to weather.
I'll be mostly pretty safe in this scenario as it seem to only take place in USA and I don't even live there lol however i see people in my country spreading lots of fake news about it and saying the zombie virus is a punishment from god
The CDC actually had a "Prepare for the zombie apocalypse" page on the front of their website Then actually played it off like it was a joke and said it was to prepare for the famine Honest to god
Fun fact: the government actually has a plan if a zombie apocalypse happens. Edit: hi it’s me in 2024, how did this blow up so much? I literally check this comment a year later and it has 1.3K LIKES.
The fact that this seems slightly real is the most unsettling part of the whole scenario. The end where they say “God help you” because there was an overflow of the undead was disturbing.
when you think about it, zombies are extremely inefficient. as soon as the heart stops beating, the body begins to decay and rigor mortis (don’t know if it’s spelt like that) sets in. they wouldn’t be able to move for long, or do anything past basic movement. the most effective zombie virus would keep its host body alive, but under an extreme state of unawareness, so the body runs until it is killed. it would also serve as a method of self-preservation as it would make it harder for civilians to kill a zombie knowing that it is another human being still awake and somewhat aware.
I like that, its effective and would spread quick. Depending on your level of fantasy there are zombies in fiction that don't decay such as the Resident Evil type, or Back 4 Blood being a solid contender for most dangerous zombies to ever exist. They literally spawn out of masses of flesh reconstructing their forms from waste. Mutating into fast moving, bulletproof masses. I figure if a basic zombie infection happened it would need to be airborne and affect so so many people before it can even be considered a threat. Unless everyone wakes up one day and everyone but them is a zombie then that's not gonna spread too well.
Half life zombies have bodies that are still functioning and alive because the parasites (in this case the head crabs) don't kill the host just make them have no control over their own body.
@@cronagorgon6435 You can't be defeated just because the zombies are spamming, like, we have the airforce, the navy, the tanks, artilleries. If you watch war documentary from World War 2, you'll see that the bombers can destroy a city in just a blink(alright maybe not a blink, but really quickly). Imagine if modern aircrafts and bombs are used, the hordes of zombies would perish in a blink, not to mention the armoured vehicles. The only reason human's gonna lose is that the zombies force them NOT to destroy their city, so bombs can't be used, infantry only.
For the sane minded, the zombie apocalypse is a horrific nightmare. For the gamer and zombie survivor role play team, a fun time waiting to happen. Whack-A-Mole ready to go!!!
Neat! I think the glitchy effects are a bit overused here, as the top comment said, but I generally find them to add to the spookiness of it... though too much of a good thing can often end up being bad.
I like the idea of the voice getting more and more choppy as the video goes on, it shows how the government are spending less time on these videos and more time fighting the zombies. Great job! This awakened a fear I had when I was younger.
and at the end it's not even going past "The United States Federal Government has currectly fallen" and "mey god bless you all" that's just.... MM no thank you.
i do like the touch of the US flag being upside down to signify the US government collapsing, not many people know about it. kudos to you for doing your research
love these videos! A little bit of personal feedback (i’m not sure how much others will agree with me but i’m just stating what i personally like). I like when the broadcasts give updates on the situation and when the situation goes from controlled to nationwide. it really shows the severity of the issue. it makes you think you’re fine until it goes completely sideways. this one was sort of just always severe. anyways love the vids and i hope to see more scp videos too!!
i also very much love when you can see signs of desperation and fear from the government/foundation. shows that even the best of the pros can’t help the situation anymore
@@alertworld no problem bro. just keep doing what you’re doing and don’t take advice too harshly. i wasn’t critiquing i was just sharing what i personally like. love the channel bro ❤️
I like how the voice glitches more and more each time the eas goes off. The last one makes me think that they were trying to get it out to the people and as soon as they did they got attacked right after and everything was damaged.
Watching this video after attending college for crisis communication and emergency management is really interesting. They did a very good job at first explaining the situation calmly but effectively, using graphics and easily digestible language, and simply saying "we don't know" in regards to why the zombies are moving to urban areas. Another thing they did well, which is extremely important, is showing what everyday citizens can do to protect themselves and make them seem like their individual actions can make a big difference (ex. shooting zombies and not facing legal repercussions, guiding yourself to safety independently, etc). Well done!
I was just checking it out, minding my own business...then the ending segment. Holy hell. The govt falling alert absolutely shook me to the core. Bravo! Bravo, indeed!
I've been seeing a lot of zombie content on YT lately, so I've thought about writing a short story just for fun about something similar to a zombie outbreak. and this is pretty inspiring! I never would have thought to not take the sewer system in a situation like this, nor would I have thought to take an ATV over something like a motorcycle. Good work! This may help in my writing if I ever do it
The sewers are not a particularly great option, they're limited by their paths, meaning you can easily get overwhelmed by zombies down there, plus the risk of disease is higher.
in sewers noise carries more, it's harder to navigate, and worse terrain also ATVs are more stable than motorbikes so you can have them sitting upright ready to go
I'd totally take an ATV over a motorcycle, I struggle to even ride a simple bicycle lol, plus the ATV has alot of useful advantages over the motorcycle
@Tree Dude I'd say a good truck to opt for would be the common Toyota Hilux, it's known for it's durability, reliability, and strength and can do decent enough in rough terrain. As for an SUV, I'm not sure, but possibly a Pajero
@Tree Dude And yeah you make some good points there, a Car is basically a durable moving metal box, so it can protect you from most of the outside world's b.s
Okay that was freaking terrifying. I don’t generally get scared by much anymore but I’m legitimately double-checking the locks on my doors tonight. Kudos, haven’t felt that unsettled in a long time
FEEDBACK: Honestly, there are two main selling points on this channel that absolutely gravitated me towards and gained my subscription, likes and viewings are: - Style - Production Quality This channel style of videos are not at all like other E.A.S. Why? Mainly, they are creative, different, and fresh. You see something completely different from video to video EVEN THOUGH the channel has very strongly it's own looks. The radioactive green, the voices, is an amazing and eye catching EXPERIENCE. Key word is experience, your channel takes you in a different experience. This channel production quality is off the roots, the HOURS of editing this takes and with the perfect steady execution of the final product is OUT - STANDING. From the amazing animation style that is just fitting for the topics that this channel covers. Is very complete, you can notice that is well made, that has quality in mind and this was, was exactly missing in all the E.A.S channels, production quality. Also, the sound effects just really make the other half because after all... REMEMBER YOUR ROOTS. It's an E.A.S. You have a lot of them and the distortion, voices, etc, are superb and are again, noticeably well made. But put enfasis on what makes and E.A.S and E.A.S, alarms. Keep up the great job and just now we take into account how much EFFORT it goes into this!
I found this channel this week through the World War III scenario, which reminds me a bit of cutscenes from Wargame video game series. Since then I subscribed and watched most of the films here. Even though there are mistakes sometimes, I love the graphic style, which looks both being retro and futuristic, while audio is a pure ASMR, especially on headphones. Secretly, I would like to see an EAS scenario from the tense Poland-Belarus conflict of 2020-2022. But no matter what you do, I can see it's gonna be okay.
I'm starting to become addicted to these videos unlike other EAS videos this one actually puts me into a scared state and my mind goes nuts with how things would look if this actually was to happen
This is pretty scary to hear and see, because it really looks an EAS that would actually be used by the USA. I'm a addicted L4D2 player too, it might be pretty cool to kill zombies and all, trying to evacuate to a island in the middle of the ocean or something like this, but it would be basically impossible to go across a lot of places while killing zombies, because if you get infected or killed, there isn't any way to ''restart'' your journey, because you've got to be pretty lucky to escape, that's why I really hope that an zombie apocalypse doesn't happens, but if it does, we might try escaping to an another place trying to survive too.
"Fun fact! @@thegooddoctor8787 dont think a human virus could infect a bug? Plus, bugs have short life spans and bugs like ants is literally impossible for them to get into the bloodstream of a human being. Animals could work but they are bigger and again would have the exact same problem that humans would have; rain and bugs eating them.
I figured I'd mention, while I do agree with the other comments that I like to see a more realistic emergency broadcast, It's really good to see you experimenting. It's easy to just fall into a loop of doing the same basic of thing over and over again, so even if it doesn't seem like the right direction, It's always good to keep moving and experimenting. Sometimes it'll be less well received, but you seem to have talent, and I have faith you'll make something new that's really good! By the way, I especially loved some of your other works, the 'Earth pulled out of orbit' one was just recommended to me and it got me hooked! It gave me real dread! So, keep up the good work!
Yeah, to be honest that’s basically how any zombie apocalypse would gain momentum. The homeless population, having nowhere to go, would get turned immediately, and now there’s a whole slew of zombies to eat you.
I agree with all of the commenters who are saying the stuttering and glitches kinda break the immersion. I tried imagining them being there because this takes place in a sort of post-apocalyptic scenario, where the equipment wouldn't be as reliable, but even that didn't make sense because it was still there at the start of the outbreak. If the stuttering and glitches were completely absent in the beginning but gradually showed themselves more over time though, I think that'd be perfect!
i really like how everything seems to be under control by the UN forces and by the government until the last alert when all hell breaks loose. gives the viewer comfort and a chance of survival before throwing it all out the window
I really like the visual elements. Part of an EAS broadcast that never failed to unnerve me was that the broadcast is primarily audiobased, with scrolling teletext being present (a godsend for people with hearing problems, I'm sure). You've established a kind of emergency bulletin format that would definitely work to disseminate information, if not completely terrify the public. 👍👍
Honestly it’s pretty easy to see where this could go wrong if done in real life. •People could get infected in there homes leaving a large amount of zombies inside homes like a messed up gift box for anybody who opens the door. The home might also protect the zombies from any bombs they may drop(Depending on strength of course) •Grouping a large amount of military forces with no way to truly protect themselves from the corpses contaminating the air can turn into zombies and me you got armored zombies with guns. •Allowing people to kill whoever they want is...pretty self explanatory. Though I doubt anybody would do anything legitimate with this ability since stepping outside get’s you killed anyways. So not much you can do •Since the hoard is semi intelligent they could start doing semi-intelligent things. For example the newly turned zombies(Which presumably still looks like normal people) could wear a white flag around their wrist and wave it around as they see other survivors do to get closer to it’s prey like how many animals do in the wild to a extent. •Child guns •Not allowing people to administer the vaccine to themselves is also a giant mistake since not everyone can just go to a vaccine spot. If you could do it yourself with some instructions you would at least actually have a chance it works
@《•~[SMC]•~》 if I was a child over the age of 10 capable of comprehending what is happening and saw them breaking into my home I would also grab a gun and fire it. Studies have shown most children that have played shooter games before can fire a gun (at least once before the recoil overwhelms them)
@@theforerunnerreclaimer Although guns aren't entirely realistic in media, they atleast have shown enough details to actually give you knowledge on how to use them, plus children have vast knowledge to the internet so they may atleast know how to safely use a gun despite not having any actual prior training with them. Also this is set in America so that counts for something lol
My opinion if a zombie apocalypse would happen in our world like many others would probably say we’d be fine we’ve seen, played, watched, and theorized so many zombie movies, games, books, and scenarios that we’d be fine we know what to do and if it gets out of hand don’t use bombs use napalm because bombs aren’t guaranteed took work all the time if you bombing an armored column yes probably but a group or scattered group or even a hoard of zombies no. You need to at least destroy the brain even if parts of the body are gone they can still function until you hit the dome napalm can burn the entire thing to a degree and kill the zombies by burning the body in its entirety two birds with one stone don’t even need a burn pit to dispose of the biohazard that is the zombie corpse because it’s already gone and if that doesn’t work use IFV’S or Infantry. Fighting. Vehicle. Because they’re specifically designed to fight infantry and tear them to spread us with machine gun fire or from auto cannons if worst comes to worse nuke them and clean them up after the blast but realistically they wouldn’t even get past the first hurdle after infection due to the fact that the only way to make a zombie virus is to do it artificially and create a biological weapon and even though that’s possible, 1. With current technological advancement and science where it is right now the reanimated corpse would still end up decomposing eventually and the zombie would die and there’s nothing in the world right know that can possibly stop or halt the process of decomposition. 2. There’s currently no way to properly transmit the disease unless it’s via an injection in my opinion from what I know. 3. The second we’d see it we’d shoot it in the head and it’s dead the CDC and the military takes the body for study then burns/incinerates it till there’s nothing left and then we’d track the sonofva bitch that created it and kill them or throw them into a dep dark hole never to be heard from again. The only scenario that could present and issue in this current day and age is the rabies infection mutating and jumping over to humans or worse the Cordycepts Fungi mutating and jumping to us those are the only scenario’s at this point in time in my opinion that could pose a threat to this world as a zombie virus. (Listen I’m no expert on this I’m basing this off the info I’ve gathered and obtained over the years some could be inaccurate or wrong some could be accurate and correct and this is just my opinion again so please don’t ream me in the comments if I got a decent chunk of this wrong just comment at the very least I.e. “hey you got [blank] wrong but it’s actually [blank] that’s correct…” or something along those lines andI’m always open to constructive criticism!)
@@albernard8751 I'll be honest I didn't read all of your comment, but I read the first part and honestly I totally agree. One of the best weapons you can have against an enemy is knowledge, and most of us have atleast a basic description of how a zombie "works" like "You have to destroy their brain to kill them" and "if they bite you you're one of them".
I really liked this one, even the choppy/glitchy parts of the automated voice that other people seemed to criticize. Sure, it's not "realistic" but it plays to the creepy nature throughout the video - the background noises and visuals with some words glitched to repeat, it fits together very well I think. It simply gives a feeling that everything is horribly wrong and breaking down. Maybe a good compromise would be to have the glitches increase with in frequency as the outbreak continues and infrastructure breaks down.
Pretty bored so here’s a short or long zombie story! Chapter 1. The news A young boy called James, 12 years old was just watching tv with his dad. He was bored so he went upstairs and played on his computer with the tv playing some music in the backround. A few hours later he was watching tv rather than playing on the computer. He heard a slight beep and saw the Emergency Alert System. He didn’t know what it was at the time but he rushed downstairs and heard the news. He peeked outside and only saw 1 zombie at the time which someone was creeping up on it, preparing the time to attack. He was shocked and scared and didnt know what to do, his dad and mom was in a state of shock. Chapter 2. The fallen dead. He thought he was dreaming so he pinched himself and he was not dreaming. He heard screams and hid in a corner. He heard knocks and screams to get in. He took a small peak and saw many zombies. He saw someone get bitten on the arm. He panicked and his parents decided it was right to take shelter somewhere else. Chapter 3. The search. James’ parents grabbed a knife and a gun and tossed it to James. He loaded the gun and went outside. He shot many people before reloading. He thought he was in a game kind of. His parents followed and they quietly snook to the nearest fallout shelter. They saw it was open and crawled inside to saw many zombies waiting for humans. Chapter 4. The Depression. James rushed for the ladder and climbed as fast as he could. He grabbed his parents hands and heaved whilst the zombies tugged down. Someone grabbed his stomach and James didn’t even think about who it could be and they tugged as hard as they could. The parents came out and the door slammed shut. James’ mom had a small bite mark on her leg. They pulled the door open and threw her down immediatly. Chapter 5. The 25th.. We knocked on my friends house and they opened and pulled me in immediately. They gave James a white cloth and turned on the tv to hear the EAS again. We heard bangs on the door and hid. The door bust down. Chapter 6. The apocalypse. We hid behind the couch and went very quiet. We understood that zombies had bust in. They looked everywhere but we got up and shot them all. It was mass bloodshed. I ain’t doing more sry
i think this is the only EAS video i frequently come back to . its my favorite bc of SO many reasons . the beat in the background (literally my favorite part of the video), the glitchy voice, how realistic the scenario and symptoms are, ect .
I know you cover scp, natural disasters, aliens, and fictional viral outbreaks but perhaps you could expand that zombie type EAS to include different kinds of zombies from other media. For example, the flood from halo, the cordyceps fungus from the last of us, necromorphisis from deadspace, and possibly others too.
This reminds me of my school's lockdown drill It had an alarm and then after that it just kept saying "be prepared to run or hide" over and over again No one thought anything of it but it still freaks me out
I had lost interest in EAS, but here I am binging all of yours because they're very qualitative. The images/text on-screen really make it more interesting to watch while being consistent with what you could see in an EAS. Very, very qualitative!! I clap!
I was recording some static noise using an old radio and that sound came up when I pressed the record button. At first I hated it but then it grew on me
i actually think that this is pretty realistic compared to other EAS scenarios because in other EAS scenarios, it has pretty high quality graphics that would take a while to create, however the graphics here are so power-point like and bad that it feels like somebody would be able to create it as the video progresses. and even a little bit ahead of time.
Quite a cool scenario, I must say. I love watching this sort of content, and I really only have one complaint, personally, just a slight info error with how it said it was 22 days since the virus outbreak on October 25th, then on October 12th saying it's been 35 days since the outbreak. Other than that, I love the content you put out, and hope you keep doing more!
This was really well made, gave me the chills a few times and really got me thinking if the federal government just disappeared that would be the point in time of me just popping myself to end suffering, just the “may got watch over you all” game me chills, I love stuff like this
This was pretty good! My only criticism is with dating: for something like this, I'd rather see the dates be sometime from the past, to avoid potential confusion. Plus, speculative fiction is a genre that I'd love to see expanded on, and seeing a possibility where COVID-19 was a zombie virus would've been great.
I think people underestimate how ####### scary it would be if this happened in real life. Like, imagine society has fallen apart, that dead guy in the street got up and ran away to an urban center, and you’re driving away in a stolen car because everything you own is gone now. You’re thinking about all the family and friends you can’t contact, wondering if you’ll ever see them again. It would be so scary, wouldn’t it?
I now come back bearing two questions: It is said that the zombies demonstrated limited intelligence, was it actual intelligence or just your average sound/light attracts them? And more disturbingly, how did the gov collapse even though a vaccine was created. I know that logistics will be a bitch due to damaged infrastructure and federal personnel being stretched to their limits, but does it prevent infection, transformation or did it simply not work?
This could be because of the military unable to control the zombie population. maybe the zombies were able to overrun the government in under a matter of days.
But don’t worry, America will strike back with cooperation of NATO and UN and it’s Allies, it will be reestablished as soon as they get things under control.
We saw how easy it was for the January 6th rioters to slip past security. I hear you zombies groaning... but this moment in history will not be forgotten.
My only complaint is the audio glitching doesn't fit in very well. Either don't have the glitching or have the video glitch too. Other than that this video was amazing. Definitely one of the best you have made.
A lot of this is typical Zombie Apocalypse Plot Armor--assuming they don't rot, don't get eaten by bugs, birds, cats, rats, etc. Some of this is poor decision-making hinted at in the alerts: nobody goes outside at first even though there might be an airborne infection afoot. No plans to separate early (first hour) infected from general population in their homes. Later on you're supposed to leave if anyone sickens in your home--several days after the fact. Ditto with the loosening of the guns--it takes too long to happen, ditto with giving people proper tips and plans for escape, should the authorities fail. Mainly? The biggest hint is that people ignore that there's a "herd mentality" to the infected: at least some of them remember what cities are (the most recently dead) and the rest follow those. Nobody's "thinking like a virus" in terms of asking, "What would the virus do to spread THE MOST?" And the answer to that might be to concentrate large numbers of infected bodies in one or a few places, to get BLOWN UP into vapor and spread by weather patterns, making an airborne infection exponentially more unavoidable. The only ways to avoid that are to either a) NOT "dismantle the cities" or b) use sterilizing weapons, either high-temperature fire-bombings (white phosphorous--which is a war crime) or high-radiation altitude bombings (neutron bombs, which are a treaty violation). Essentially you solve for X on the herd mentality of this zombie outbreak by letting them HAVE the big cities, fortify the smaller refuges for the uninfected, and then you wall off the "hot zones" with the zombie concentrations and keep them isolated until they DO in fact rot there.
Did anyone notice the zombie noises at the end in the background yeah I think the broadcasting station was being overrun by zombies causing it to glitch it’s also good explanation for the rushed together conclusion at the end

Fun fact! Contrary to popular belief, if a zombie outbreak were to actually occur, They'd most likely die within the first 2-3 days due to natural predators like maggots and weather tearing them apart.
unless they’re the type of zombies that are still physically alive, like from 28 days later
@@realdonutking123 You make a fair point, I never considered 28 days later zombies.
Owning Artillery for an average civilian especially a neighborhood was a recommendation to keep logistics nice and easy in the event of circumstantial commandeering of assets
Realistically, the Military should be linking up and supplying ammunition to those willing to fight and quarantining neighborhoods to ensure an uninfected population. the US Government does in Fact have a Real Plan for a Zombie outbreak. being overrun from supply points should be considered the Worst form of Defeat for it Created a Shortage for everyone involved, weather or not there's a Surviving industry. these are Legitimate Plans by our own Government if they decide Hiding and letting us Die would be less Convenient.
fallback lines and Refuge HQs should have weapons accessible. zombies don't discriminate between civilians and fighters so why should we. as long as you don't threaten a family one shouldn't be an enemy. a bullet wasted on in fighting is a bullet wasted in ending a converting one's misery or putting the Re-animated to Rest.
I Recommend using bayonets mounted to weapons be it Rifle, Intermediate or Subcaliber Weaponry. better than any suppressed weapons and if used right, more effective. medieval tactics alone would make it a blood bath for zombies. add in artillery on demand and precision bombardment and entire hoards would be decimated before we even see infantry opening fire for effect. killing them in small numbers before they could mount into hordes would be a good containment strategy. or making a Hindenburg line killing field since zombies are too dumb to use anything typically that the allies used to break the aforementioned line
in a head on fight if prepared we will usually win if not hold the line. we only lose if politicians lose sight of the contingency plans and in effect make it become a surprise attack.

I like this scenario. It seems like a fairly realistic way of approaching how the US Government would react to a zombie apocalypse. Passing laws removing human rights from zombies and removing gun laws in favor of arming as many citizens as possible against the zombies.
"There is no need to call authorities and tell them what you have done."
"Once the situation is back to normal, the government will not keep any records of the weapons you have used."
These are my favorite lines.
Unless everyone wakes up one day and everyone but them is a zombie then that's not gonna spread too well.
you should watch 28 days/weeks later! It goes by that concept exactly. The infected aren't dead, but just that: infected.
Half life zombies have bodies that are still functioning and alive because the parasites (in this case the head crabs) don't kill the host just make them have no control over their own body.

And you see how it was rushed. More scary.
Good work! This may help in my writing if I ever do it
The sewers are not a particularly great option, they're limited by their paths, meaning you can easily get overwhelmed by zombies down there, plus the risk of disease is higher.
in sewers noise carries more, it's harder to navigate, and worse terrain
also ATVs are more stable than motorbikes so you can have them sitting upright ready to go
I'd totally take an ATV over a motorcycle, I struggle to even ride a simple bicycle lol, plus the ATV has alot of useful advantages over the motorcycle
Kudos, haven’t felt that unsettled in a long time
This is a great idea.

FEEDBACK:
Honestly, there are two main selling points on this channel that absolutely gravitated me towards and gained my subscription, likes and viewings are:
- Style
- Production Quality
This channel style of videos are not at all like other E.A.S.

2:38 Homeless person: Guess I'll die

Yeah, to be honest that’s basically how any zombie apocalypse would gain momentum. The homeless population, having nowhere to go, would get turned immediately, and now there’s a whole slew of zombies to eat you.
LOL but this is still pretty creepy
And this is why we need to fix the housing problem!
tbh every once in a while i go back to the vid and still am amazed. this is awesome dude.
I agree. As the apocalypse goes on, better communication methods and tech will become unreliable and the government has to use older tech.
You made a very typical scenario feel new! I love to see your take on things!
i really like how everything seems to be under control by the UN forces and by the government until the last alert when all hell breaks loose. gives the viewer comfort and a chance of survival before throwing it all out the window
Alert World should use this format for all of their EAS scenarios. It's the best one and looks the most official by far.
The home might also protect the zombies from any bombs they may drop(Depending on strength of course)
•Grouping a large amount of military forces with no way to truly protect themselves from the corpses contaminating the air can turn into zombies and me you got armored zombies with guns.
•Allowing people to kill whoever they want is...pretty self explanatory. Though I doubt anybody would do anything legitimate with this ability since stepping outside get’s you killed anyways. So not much you can do
•Since the hoard is semi intelligent they could start doing semi-intelligent things. For example the newly turned zombies(Which presumably still looks like normal people) could wear a white flag around their wrist and wave it around as they see other survivors do to get closer to it’s prey like how many animals do in the wild to a extent.
•Child guns
•Not allowing people to administer the vaccine to themselves is also a giant mistake since not everyone can just go to a vaccine spot.
@@polodok9988 yes exactly
I really liked this one, even the choppy/glitchy parts of the automated voice that other people seemed to criticize. Sure, it's not "realistic" but it plays to the creepy nature throughout the video - the background noises and visuals with some words glitched to repeat, it fits together very well I think. It simply gives a feeling that everything is horribly wrong and breaking down. Maybe a good compromise would be to have the glitches increase with in frequency as the outbreak continues and infrastructure breaks down.
Pretty bored so here’s a short or long zombie story!
Chapter 1. The news
A young boy called James, 12 years old was just watching tv with his dad.
Fuck!
I love these, they're so pulling and intense!

Why can't the real EAS be in this format? It looks so much better than just a scrolling bar.

I have a question. Since you like zombie movies, do you like plants vs. zombies?
@@Waddle-v2n Yes, of course!
I Love playing PVZ.
I now come back bearing two questions:
It is said that the zombies demonstrated limited intelligence, was it actual intelligence or just your average sound/light attracts them?
And more disturbingly, how did the gov collapse even though a vaccine was created. I know that logistics will be a bitch due to damaged infrastructure and federal personnel being stretched to their limits, but does it prevent infection, transformation or did it simply not work?
This could be because of the military unable to control the zombie population. maybe the zombies were able to overrun the government in under a matter of days.
But don’t worry, America will strike back with cooperation of NATO and UN and it’s Allies, it will be reestablished as soon as they get things under control.
The vaccine was made in rush or unable to be completed.
If it was made on a rush, this could create risks.
We saw how easy it was for the January 6th rioters to slip past security. I hear you zombies groaning... but this moment in history will not be forgotten.

I'm more confused how the US government went from "having a plan" to literally collapsing with no explaination between
basically every zombie scenario.
Nobody's "thinking like a virus" in terms of asking, "What would the virus do to spread THE MOST?"
And the answer to that might be to concentrate large numbers of infected bodies in one or a few places, to get BLOWN UP into vapor and spread by weather patterns, making an airborne infection exponentially more unavoidable.
@@jerryjerry5321 basically every fed scenario where it isn't bombing poor countries
