I am a Turkish man with dyslexia. I started watching Doctor Who when I was 5 years old. I couldn’t understand what was being said because I didn’t know English at the time, and I couldn’t read the subtitles because of my dyslexia. So, my dad would stand next to me and read the subtitles to me. Those are some of my favorite memories. I’m sharing this with you because I want to show how far this show’s reach extends and how it can bring people together.
Take a drink for every: - "underrated episode" - "one of my favorite episodes ever" - "im getting ahead of myself" Love the video, exactly what I was looking for
ok so. it has taken me three days to finish this video in its entirety, and, can i just say that the way you approach Doctor Who is kind of admirable to me. not just the encyclopedic knowledge of it (although that's a partial factor) but the amount of love you clearly have for this series is something that i really want to aspire to. as nerdy as this might sound, your passion for this series is something that i keep in mind whenever i talk about this show or interact with different pieces of it. this video really is incredible and has now become a new favourite of mine :) thank you for this absolutely insane contribution
thank you so much for making it all the way through and for such the kind words! i have the statistics on the back-end and tell you that you are in the less than 0.1%! That's 47 people give or take, so not many have reached it so far! that's an achievement (i suppose... maybe😅) thank you so much man
Never seen an episode of Dr Who in my life and I have no idea why YT recommended this to me yet I’m going to watch the whole thing because if something is worth a 12 hour explanation it’s worth my time
without irony i legit think this is a very accessible explanation of what DW is. i appreciate your hard work and admire your passion, which is what makes the experience so enjoyable. thanks mad man
taking a shot every time you say an episode is one of the best or historic, i think i might die fr tho very fun video and something we lowkey needed, the story is so confusing and winding that an analysis of this scale is really helpful :) i think you rightfully deserve that place as the 91st dr who fan ever
I can't thank you enough for all the effort you go through to provide these videos. As someone who personally found myself falling out of love with the series about 10 years ago, it was this channel and the first brief explanation which re-invigorated my passion for Who. The best part for me is all the focus on the history and earlier doctors. I started with Eccleston but thanks to consuming more of the early material I love Pertwee just as much these days.
the guy talked about at 10:14:39 is insane, I would die of embarrassment is something did that near me know after never seeing any episodes except for the first episode of the reboot, I think I understand the hype now
I'd never seen that Tom Baker clip at the end and it made me choke up a little hearing how he takes adventures in his mind as Dr. Who with Sarah and Harry. My favourite actor of all time.
After watching 10+ hours of you yapping about Dr Who (a show i have only ever consumed through yt shorts for the last couple months now), I seriously believe that it is physically impossible for you to dislike anything about this show, and i am all here for it xD
I know that you don’t really care about recognition my friend, but genuinely great job on this video. I know very few people who share my borderline autistic obsession with this beautiful, bombastic show lmao. But seriously, a damn near 12 hour video based entirely around the topic is something that honestly deserves more praise than you get. Happy Holidays man, I wish you the best and thank you for being a very big bright spot in mine and a lot of other people’s day :)
5:15:00 McGann had me from the moment he stepped into those perfectly fitting shoes. I always consider him to be what the First Doctor would have been like as a young man; the way he dresses, his hairstyle, even all his mannerisms remind me so much of Hartnell.
The first episode of doctor who i watched was “the girl in the fireplace”, and it was entirely by accident. I was at my grandma’s and was just scrolling to channels and i got up to go to the bathroom and when I returned, I couldn’t find the remote straight away and the rest is history. I have never gone into the lore beyond the new series, so thank you so much for this video! I’m writing this as the fourth doctor’s story begins and i quite like it. I don’t know if i’ll watch classic doctor who unless i find everything on streaming because i’m too lazy to 🏴☠️, but for now, this video will do it. THANK YOU!
Man if I could tell myself after I finished both your 7 hour review and OG brief explanation over a year ago now, what was to come, you don't know elated I would be. As I am now, after finishing this absolute masterpiece of a video. Honestly this is the most commendable video I have ever seen. What an achievement. You should be so proud my friend.
The goat returning with a 12 hr epic?? Absolute cinema 👐! A retrospective is a nice way to end the year off on. But are we getting a video on the Christmas special? It looks great.
Hey so I finally finished watching and to prove it Id love it if you released those cut segments, also Im insanely curious about your scripts, okay anyways thanks for working so hard on this, it was one of the most historic videos of your entire series, possibly the best of all time. Genuinely, youre the GOAT Doctor Who yt channel.

I have now watched the whole video (over several days) so thank you for all of the hard work that has clearly gone into it. Loved your enthusiasm for the show.
Damn you just made the longest Doctor Who video in history. Guess my Sleep No More essay will have to be 12 hours to beat this one! (nah just kidding, not even I can talk about it for that long 😅) Edit: In contrast, you have made the shortest Sleep No More review on the internet in this video at approximately 10 seconds lol. Now to play the rest of the video in the background while playing Mario Kart or something else. Luckily like David Tennant you have the power to make exposition sound cool. 👍 🐐

I would love to see your 90 minute special where Missy becomes the Spy Master and he tries to be good but his bad habits pull through. Sounds incredibly interesting.
I would love to see this as a goated dwfan91 90 minute special video but it would be quite funny if this IS the plot of the upcoming spy master big finish audio drama

6:21:46 - my attentions span is usually really short, but somehow i watched over 6 hours already in one sitting (with small breaks) Your tone of voice makes it very entertaining to watch the video. I watched your last 5 hour video and it got me to start rewatching new who. Im currently on series 4 but im excited to see all the episodes i havent seen since i first watched who
