Flying is OK until you're on a 7 hour flight back from Tampa Forida and there's a queue at Heathrow and you have to circle the airport. On only your 2nd flight EVER.
I once cycled over Sardinia for more than an hour because of one of those rare Mediterranian storms. Winds were apparently going totally crazy at the airport with gusts from all directions.
8 euros for a coke... that's called Center of Milan, or turist area, just go out a few kilometers and prices go down drastically. I'm 10km from Milan NorthWest border and with 1.80 i can get a coke easily. Every big center is like that, and Milan is the most pricy in Italy for sure, by a mile. Try to think about HOUSING in Lombardia... I want to die now :D

I feel super lucky to not know what my first plane ride felt like all I know is that takeoff and landing are my favorite and I'm super used to it as my family goes from stansted all the way to the French alps to go skiing every year I have gone 1 year without my family but that was a school trip where we didn't take the plane but on my Berlin trip with school the lot of us that had been on planes before were acting like we were going to crash when we hit minour turbulence

Yeah, turning reduces lift and makes you drop. You need to compensate with thrust and/or nose up.
