I always go out to Scadden Wash with my Jeep and tent. Many places back in there that aren’t RV accessible. Beautiful and peaceful.

I actually study Tarantulas; the reason being, is because I'm afraid of them. My mom always told me if you are afraid of something, learn it.

Hopefully it’s not getting too cold at night out there but at least during the day the temperatures are super nice! As always take care and God bless you on your travels…❤

    Good Evening Love,
Now Lil' One be sure Miss Sarah doesn't steal that love from you!
    Thank You Miss Sarah,
I was the 50th person to like this video before my lunch break and I am just now at 5:30 getting back to you and all the good info you shared. Thank You!
I can park my pickup and camper safely with an extended stay and disappear on my bike for further adventures. This time as I leave out the camper will be my shower and real mattress time off the ground away from the tent. In the year and a half I did traveling the country by motorcycle I never went to Quartzsite and that is my loss. There is so much of America and it's a damn shame the north east isn't as hospitable to BLM camping or folk like me that pop up a tent in any clearing with no traffic.
I wish I could assure you that you are safe from spiders (humans being a million times bigger) but I know our wonderful and beautiful little Lady puts things into her on perspective. There is so much you are fearless about and i do not want any fears to keep you from enjoying your life. So you are always in my prayers Miss Sarah.
Lil' One is looking healthy after the scare she gave us all, Thank Goodness.
Have a Merry Christmas, with Love and Respect, YOU are in my prayers
    Hoka Hey

If a person loves the desert this is the place. My wife grandparents went down there every year after retiring until they hit the age of 85. Bill was a rock hound and gold prospector so he was always busy. They stopped going around 1995 so I imagine it is quite different.

Last January I checked out the Scadden Wash area, which I thought was nice, especially when you headed further east from town and there were fewer campers. I had never been off I-10 in the Quartzsite area (except for fast food/gas passing through on my way to California), so it was cool to look around. After staying at Parker, I thought Plomosa looked promising as you approach Quartzsite from the north. But honestly, I don't like crowds, so for the most part traveler magnets like that are not my cup of tea (or coffee). Heading back to Tucson by way of Yuma, I took a side trip over to the Kofa Mountains by Palm Canyon, and really liked the dispersed camping in that area. Thank you for the informative video to help the newbies, and I am so glad you aren't going to be hanging out around Quartzsite for 2 months! lol You don't like crowds anymore than I do, so it would probably drive you nuts! haha

This is really helpful. When I went to the RTR in January I completely lost as to where to stay so I wish I would have seen this then. Lol. I ended up at ltva North for 2 weeks and then move to BLM to be with people who were having meetups. Really great experience and a breathtaking Sunset no matter where you park. I'm going to hopefully see you at the RTR when I'm there in January. Safe travels and enjoy the moment.

Cool channel with lots of awesome places you comment about. AZ desert is amazing from late October through April. Quartzsite takes patience in January with all the people, limited stores are services. You can camp for free on BLM land but have to move every 14 days or buy the annual pass for $175 and you can camp without moving.

How about the scorpions, though? 😳 You can use a portable blacklight at night to find them, unlike the tarantulas.
