Great Look Around Tour of Quartzsite Camping
Sitting here drinking my coffee and saw a gang and their jeeps drive by. Wondered if one was you... thanks Jeepsy
I always go out to Scadden Wash with my Jeep and tent. Many places back in there that aren’t RV accessible. Beautiful and peaceful.
My mom visited Quartzite about 15 years ago. She said it was wild crazy. She called it a giant swap meet!😂
Thank you for sharing your awesome review and tour of some of the available areas to camp in Quartzsite. Everyone stay safe, warm, happy and healthy. From Henrico County Virginia
I actually study Tarantulas; the reason being, is because I'm afraid of them. My mom always told me if you are afraid of something, learn it.
in my own opinion, I do like it better than the ocean. Thank you! Have a good day and be careful!!
Thank you for showing us the various camping areas. January will be my first time out there so this really helps ❤
The skies were beautiful!😍
I also noticed the really cool clouds in this video. Beautiful.
The "buttermilk" clouds at the beginning aren't natural, sad to say. The sky has been too messed with over the past decades.
I think it's great that you're explaining and showing Quartzside! That's something I've never seen anyone else do. Thanks!
You have never seen anyone show and explain Quartzsite????
RVerTV has done this a ton of times.
Well done, take care😎⭐️🤩
Hello dimples. If you ever get a chance to come to Northern California I be happy to show you around.
Dome Rock looks nice having access to some trails, hiking and close to some essential amenities. Thanks for doing this. It takes a lot of time and effort I know.
The clouds were beautiful on this day. I think I would prefer visiting during a time it’s least populated.
Nice job on your video... definitely the place to be in the winter. Where else can you meet lots of great Americans!!!
Hi Sarah! I was as close as I’ve ever been to Quartzite last week in Tonopah AZ. Was on biz and soaked for an hour at the hot springs. Thanks for the informative video and for taking us along. Hopefully it’s not getting too cold at night out there but at least during the day the temperatures are super nice! As always take care and God bless you on your travels…❤
Happy Holidays and on to a Great New Year! Roll on into 2024 and enjoy the adventures. 😎
Good Evening Love,
Now Lil' One be sure Miss Sarah doesn't steal that love from you!
Thank You Miss Sarah,
I was the 50th person to like this video before my lunch break and I am just now at 5:30 getting back to you and all the good info you shared. Thank You!
I can park my pickup and camper safely with an extended stay and disappear on my bike for further adventures. This time as I leave out the camper will be my shower and real mattress time off the ground away from the tent. In the year and a half I did traveling the country by motorcycle I never went to Quartzsite and that is my loss. There is so much of America and it's a damn shame the north east isn't as hospitable to BLM camping or folk like me that pop up a tent in any clearing with no traffic.
I wish I could assure you that you are safe from spiders (humans being a million times bigger) but I know our wonderful and beautiful little Lady puts things into her on perspective. There is so much you are fearless about and i do not want any fears to keep you from enjoying your life. So you are always in my prayers Miss Sarah.
Lil' One is looking healthy after the scare she gave us all, Thank Goodness.
Have a Merry Christmas, with Love and Respect, YOU are in my prayers
Hoka Hey
So, is it mostly Snowbirds who come down for the winter, the place is huge with full hookups, so I'm sure it most fill up quickly!
I love driving past Dome Rock Rd!! I also stop to get gas at Loves on the way to California and back! Sarah thank you for the tour!!😃🤠👍
December is one of my favorite months in the desert. Thanks for giving us the tour! It's cool to see all the trees, I just love that back area.
Thx Sarah...nice tour of the camping options.
Me, I'd rather camp far out in the desert away from all the traffic. Thx
Great video of the different campsites! Many thanks!
My 2 cents , also have 14 day free areas, 500 ft get arnd this having your friend in a full self cont. Allows you access... 🎉happy trails
Have fun
Such far out cloud formations! Quartzsite is beautiful, no wonder it's so popular. 🌞
WJ, thank you for the look around the Quartzite area and your commentary about the various campgrounds. Really helps when looking for a decent place to camp. Please give Lil' One a hello too.
Fyi, flash flood warnings, 4am Friday to 3am Saturday, rains. Be careful
Love ya Sarah stay safe and alert head on Swivel my Sweet gypsy lady❤
Thanks so much Sarah for another amazing video. Safe travels while you're in Arizona..😘💯💖
Hello Wondering Jeepsy
😃✌💖
If a person loves the desert this is the place. My wife grandparents went down there every year after retiring until they hit the age of 85. Bill was a rock hound and gold prospector so he was always busy. They stopped going around 1995 so I imagine it is quite different.
I love the way you made your hair you are so so beautiful!!!! BRAVO GIRL!!!! (LAST VIDEO) AND NOW IT LOOKS SO BEAUTIFUL AND NICE!
Thank you Sarah. I'm heading so. from Idaho in a couple weeks. Thanks for the heads up...
Cool, I love it.
I haven’t been to the SW U S in decades. ( military)
The sounds of you walking on gravel brings back awesome memories.
I truly miss that.
Returning to the SW is definitely going to be planned into my travels.
I’m full TIME …. RVING
Rattling Jeepsy……..LoL, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to You Sarah.
Like the sky,, outstanding
Cell service is what keeps folks closer to town. Towers all get jammed during the Big Tent event.
I do need to be close to a bathroom when camping. I love the desert 🏜 ❤
I love that you only talk when necessary and show lots of beautiful scenery. ❤ thanks for the video!
When you’re out camping in the desert, how do you remember where your campsite is? If you go into town can you get your 😊 16:18 coordinates off your GPS?
Last January I checked out the Scadden Wash area, which I thought was nice, especially when you headed further east from town and there were fewer campers. I had never been off I-10 in the Quartzsite area (except for fast food/gas passing through on my way to California), so it was cool to look around. After staying at Parker, I thought Plomosa looked promising as you approach Quartzsite from the north. But honestly, I don't like crowds, so for the most part traveler magnets like that are not my cup of tea (or coffee). Heading back to Tucson by way of Yuma, I took a side trip over to the Kofa Mountains by Palm Canyon, and really liked the dispersed camping in that area. Thank you for the informative video to help the newbies, and I am so glad you aren't going to be hanging out around Quartzsite for 2 months! lol You don't like crowds anymore than I do, so it would probably drive you nuts! haha
This is really helpful. When I went to the RTR in January I completely lost as to where to stay so I wish I would have seen this then. Lol. I ended up at ltva North for 2 weeks and then move to BLM to be with people who were having meetups. Really great experience and a breathtaking Sunset no matter where you park. I'm going to hopefully see you at the RTR when I'm there in January. Safe travels and enjoy the moment.
The scenery is much more beautiful with you in it
Hi Sarah, ❤
Beautiful 😍 jeepsy nice information watching fr Jamaica 🏖️
Meet me in Hi Jolly, 5 miles from town plus all those folk, would place me 5 miles closer to the UFOS and aliens.👽
Will have to look at Google maps a little bit closer and do further research on good spots for when I visit next year. I definitely would like to bring my ebike along to save on gas when I would need to go to town for supplies. Just remember that 500 feet is almost a tenth of a mile 😊
Great video! Full of information, I will be visiting soon. I like the Dome Rock area. I imagine the sky is full of stars at night. ✌🏽❤️
Thank you. Interesting they have paid campgrounds so close. I will have to look up what they charge. I do not think anyone would object. To you taking a little time off, for the holidays. If you want to.
It's High Jolly, to the locals.
Awesome!! Thank you for sharing all of this. I’m going in January. I can’t wait ❤
Good info 👍 thanks for the video! Happy trails to y'all
Informative video. Great job. Thank you
Hello Sarah 💖 "Wandering Jeepsy "
Hi Sarah, thanks for the info. Quartzite is amazing, how the transformations take place. I like the rock and gem shows.
Privacy - remember reading about the old pioneers that said if you can see the smoke from a neighbor - how many
miles away, time to move.
Gonna try it this year, see if I can survive 2 months in the middle of nowhere, I think my Dog will have a blast.
Hey wondering gypsy I live in jasper Georgia I passed you on my bicycle the other day I recognized your Jeep I hope you and your dog are well.
Sarah, I guess that's your name , thank you for info on QUARTZITE, I'm lookin for van, then tear myself away from work for fun times. I tow travel trailers out that way often from Indiana. Always enjoy your videos ! Ron M.
Free is good😊
I had a pet tarantula a navy buddy bought me fior my birthday back in about 1995....he was mean looking...especially when his body moves as he's breathing...I named him harry.....lol.
Theres Roadrunner south of the south ltva by 5 miles
Hello Sarah. Thank you for doing this video. I know you said most of the LTVAs look about the same but I wondered if any of them had a bit more boulders & big rocks than the others if you drove out a bit farther...
"I don't like spiders".......Yeah we know that by now 😅 fantastic video, thank you
it is a good town. I'll be back in March.
husband speaking big question for the viewers, over 3,000 views so far and only 400 views ? how hard is it to push
the like and help her out.
Sarah smile!
Just subbed to your channel. Heading out there from N.Y.
state for the first time after the holidays. Going to check out the RTR and then the big tent. Thanks for showing me around Sarah. Maybe I'll get to meet you in person. You seem like good people. My kind of people. ✌🍀
Stay in NY
Ferocious looking animal 😁👍🐝
I'm in la posa north close to where you were/are staying. I'm in a large canvas tent. There are some beautiful spots, but I'm 3 miles from Main Street if I want to walk.
Keep a close eye on your little dog. I saw a hawk take pick up a dog off the trail in front of the dog's owners in Burbank, CA (Wildwood Cyn. Trail)
Awesome video thank you for sharing- Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Thank you Sarah for sharing the beauty. I have just recently started to follow you. If you can link up with other traveling youtubers, like Nikki Delventhal, to do some collaborations, it could really help with subscribership.
I’m leaving Wednesday from the East Coast. Hope to be there by the weekend. Thank you so much for the information. How many LTVAR and I was wondering where I was going to say the north side looks pretty sweet. Thank you again.
Away from the thieves, preferably.
@9:30 you mentioned it being close to the hi way and it didn't bother you, but if you are sensitive about hearing hi way noise? I thought I could actually hear the hi way noise in the video...
Cool channel with lots of awesome places you comment about. AZ desert is amazing from late October through April. Quartzsite takes patience in January with all the people, limited stores are services. You can camp for free on BLM land but have to move every 14 days or buy the annual pass for $175 and you can camp without moving.
How about the scorpions, though? 😳 You can use a portable blacklight at night to find them, unlike the tarantulas.
Your idea of "packed" is amusing -- I can hear the plumbing gurgling in the walls when my neighbors use their toilet. It's all relative.
Did the Tarantula climb up in the Jeep? I haven't seen that video.
Do you use a GPS while driving around. I would be afraid I wouldn't find my campsite until April 😅 May the good Lord watch over you and your family and friends. Peace and Love 😊
When you’re out camping in the desert, how do you remember where your campsite is? If you go into town can you get your coordinates off your GPS?
I pin it on my Google maps
@@wanderingjeepsy thank you ,and bye pinning it on Google maps it will bring you right back to that location ? I would be worried about leaving some stuff behind to go into town and not be able to find my way back.
@user-jo4lr8it6p yes, you can pin it or save it under parking. Both will bring you right back to the exact spot 🙂
@@wanderingjeepsy thank you for helping me out.
Good Info !!
Well good morning from Medford Oregon ❤
Love the clouds and video! ❤
Still watching but was thinking maybe you should let people know how to contact to reserve their stay at the LTVA parks. Is there an office there?
There are booths at each entrance to the LTVA areas where you register, get your sticker for your window and pay the fee.
could you if possible show a before and after of your hair
I hope you are camped on high ground Sarah, with all the storms and rain down there! One good thing is that it will settle the dust!
Hello...your channel name is so catchy, and it made me take notice! lol I just got my first van in October (happy bday to me!) and I'm (hopefully) going to be one of the millions showing up w/in a couple of weeks (I also create content). I am excited and also a little apprehensive because it is hard for me right now actually staying in a vehicle. I have some medical and financial issues and back problems so hopefully this will give me lots more exposure so I can make future decisions about doing it f/t or whatever I can do financially. Just wanted to say Hi and hope to meet you and other fellow content creators in person!
I don't like spiders either. Like the song goes, "I don't like spiders and snakes".
Hi Sarah. I don't know if you are familiar with RVer Utube channel. He spends his winters there and you might find a lot of info. Safe travels. ❤
Yes, Russ is a good friend of mine 🙂
Merry Christmas Sarah....hugggzz from Kentucky
What do they call them? Snow Birds?
Great video, are you using a GoPro or your cell phone to film?
I use both 🙂
🇺🇸Ya know, living in my Ford Expedition was fun & i slept like a Baby, my frenz daughters waking me up, pounding on the windows & doors😆to wake me up for Breakfast . ...I like Showering so I'll buy a sturdy trailer at Best, vehicle is forth coming . ... LTV i like but I'd try n buy the place . ..if, right . . ..I'm like you though👍🇺🇸
I’ve been there a few years ago.
When spiders get as big as you hand, I want nothing to do with them, even if they were friendly. Have seen two in
our home in Cebu over the past 4 or 5 years, large as my hand - call the maid who is used to seeing them to get rid of it.
are they ok with setting up shower tents and tarps?
Yes
Your Jeep rattles but it rolls!!!!
Cool video 😊
