My 5th grade year. There was a 4th grade kid who goes around scouting, looking for anybody who had YugiOh cards, his get momma who is a custodian to find you and she will threaten to get you expel from school if you don't gave her your cards. If you REFUSE she will frisk/search you. She take your cards. She will say you can have it back after lunch or whatever but you never get it back. She give the cards to the little sh!t. One day that little sh!t caught us while we were playing in the 5th grade restroom. Our school rules are that you can only go to your restroom of your grade. That kid came into the 5th grade restroom. Too late for us and that sh!t saw that classmate's Barrel Dragon. He threaten that classmate that if classmate doesn't give that Barrel Dragon to him he will tell his mom to take all of the cards. Give him the barrel dragon or lose all the cards. So I quickly responded by giving that little sh!t my Ultimate Obedient Fiend and told him that it's way stronger. The strongest card. What ever happened to the kid and his momma? Lets say one day the little sh!t fkked with the wrong 4th grade kid because this kid is the RICH KID. Little sh!t got his momma to frisk some that rich kid, took that kid's deck and told the kid that he can have it back after the bell rings. Kid didn't get his cards back. Next day in the morning the little sh!t was going around showing off his "new deck" and I recall..about 20mins later the school administrator, the deputy, the vice principle, the mother, father and that kid were talking to the custodian. Custodian denied everything at first but called her kid and told the kid to give the cards back. After that we never see that kid or his momma.
That's his half ass writers. Duel Logs can not tell a joke that's rehashed from other people and knows nothing about the anime. These days he just reads a script Also his writers have been caught being 5Ds fan boys as shown in multiple videos.
something that is insane about tea using fire sorcerer. in her duel the card tea banished for the effect was pot of greed, so she not only went -1 to deal 800 burn, she went -2 for not using pot of greed
Its funny cause Tgc anime Just made this duel and i lost my mind went Tea discarded Pot of creed for 800 hundred damages... and later on discarded disgracefull charity... I get we dont know whatsapp pog do but Come on charity too?
TGS anime, funnily enough, just covered the Tea vs Krump duel. Not only did she discard POG for Fire Sorceror, she ALSO drew Graceful Charity and NEVER uses it.
Imagining a flip repeat strategy with creature swap to give an adversary the fire sorcerer and then flip it back down with book of moon so they drop their hand
Way back, I had a guy on a tournament use fire sorcerers with creature swaps and book of moons to decimate my hand. It was such a gimmick but incredibly silly.
I had this thought as soon as he brought up the effect. It would be so easy to wreck a player with it combined with something like Ghostrick cards that let you repeatedly flip cards.
Anyone who legit attempts what I call a "Flying elephant strat" gets respect in my book. It's easy to forget Yugioh doesn't always have to be so serious. Sometimes you just want to run Crazy box or try for that 1 in 100 game where you win with an unreliable burn strategy against a semi-serious player. XD That said the only time I DON"T like that is when the win condition of the game involves litereally NOT playing the game, just flipping a coin and if heads, you win, if tails, you lose, but that's kind of what modern meta decks have turned into, I shouldn't have to be lucky enough to draw Ash to beat Tears just cause my opponent is playing Tears.
I'd rather lose to Tears than Kashtira. At least Tears lets you attempt to play. Kashtira just says "Oh. I went first. You no longer get to use any zones."
So, Fire Sorcerer is about to have an unintended use case with the new Mimighoul cards; with Mimighoul Maker, you could special summon Flip Monsters like Fire Sorcerer or Cyber Jar onto your opponent's field face-down, and then flip them up with your own Mimighouls. Fire Sorcerer's effect of "remove two random cards from your hand, do 800 LP damage" then becomes "HANDRIP TWO CARDS FROM YOUR OPPONENT'S HAND, BANISH THEM, then take 800 burn damage". Granted, that play hinges on your opponent picking Fire Sorcerer to be summoned, but it's marginally more useful than it's been before.
I'm not familiar with the archtype, but you can probably remove the hinge by simply making it so your opponent doesn't have anything else to pick, assuming it is summoned from your GY or banished.
I usually dislike that you take cards off the list if theyve shown up in other videos, but i totally understand it So i extra like that you include them in the Honorable mentions spot, please continue doing that!
Correction: Blaze of Destruction was part of the _second_ pair of Structure Decks, alongside Fury of the Deep. Dragon's Roar and Zombie Madness were the first pair.
I remember how fcking bad the SD03 is. One of my friends used it, my other friend used SD04. They fought and of course SD03 was annihilated and we just thought maybe it was due to the element matchup of the deck, Water deck's strategies defeats Fire. At that time I was using SD07 so we dueled and he still got fcking destroyed despite my deck being so defensive. We kept wondering why something that burns Earth could lose to it. In the end we all decided SD03 was trash and he just stuck with his old SD02 instead which for him is a lot stronger and faster.
Sometimes seeing the reason your favorite cards aren't good allows you to think extra hard on how to get around your favorite's weaknesses. making for more interesting deckbuilding. It's arguably MORE fun to figure out how to make a terrible card work in a strategy and then actually pulling it off. Just like that tourney player who put Gate Guardian in his deck despite no way to summon it JUST to make a point about how much people forget deck building is more than just reading a deck list online that topped tournaments and copying that.
Ultimate Obedient Fiend, during its time, had some niche uses. I used toon decks in the videogames, and I never used Manga Ryu (even in the early days). Blue Eyes is objectively a better toon 99% of the time.
You hit the nail on the head with the Koitsu, Aitsu, Soitsu, and Doitsu translations. No wonder they never tried to localize them because they're essentially just Japanese puns 😂
I remember seeing a true mad lad way back in the day at my Locals who got "Ultimate Obedient Fiend" to the field with a "Flame Ruler", and equipped him with an "Axe of Fools" to attack for game over a 3600 ATK "Gren Maju". I'd never even heard of UOF before that, but that was crazy!
What’s funny is Fire Sorcerer might be seeing some gimmicky play as a brick in Gimmighoul. As they have a card capable of placing a flip monster on your opponent’s field, and then they can flip her.
Yeah more recent, there's also more discussion on how to make the most of a bad card instead of dismissing it because "It won't win top tournaments" as the only reason the card is unplayable. I guess I'm not the only one who didn't like when a card was on a worst of list because "It can't beat Tears" or "Zoodiacs are better" logic.
16:30 Impressive that you mentioned the anime duel Tea had and not mentioning her effect was used by banishing POT OF GREED AND GRACEFUL CHARITY! That has to be one of the most outrageous 0 IQ plays you can ever do in a duel
Even more annoying is if it were JOEY doing that, other characters would've told him "you idiot! YOu could've played that and got an extra card!" and it'd be a great learning experience, literally the point of Joey's character being so bad at the game, to help teach how to play. There was no reason for the writers to have her banish free advantage like that. they could've made it ANY other card so she'd look more compentent, especially since her winning play was an absolute genius move, summoning the Dark Magician token to close out the game.
Make a “failed cards, etc.” video on naturia please! Also, how about a “top 10 cards NEVER restricted in any way, but were widely considered to be hit on a banlist” (ex. Dante)
22:58 Idea to improve this card by playing into the “Incinerator” part: _The Infernal Incinerator_ (FIRE) Level 6 Fiend/Effect _Requires a Tribute with 2000 or more total ATK/DEF to Normal Summon/Set. Can be Special Summoned (From your hand) by discarding all other cards from your hand (Quick Effect). Gains 500 ATK for every card that is sent to the GY or banished. Once per turn Quick Effect), You can decrease this card’s ATK: Decrease the ATK/DEF of 1 monster your opponent controls by an equal amount, and if it’s ATK or DEF has been reduced to 0 as a result, destroy it._ ATK/2800 DEF/1800
As a kid I put fire sorcerer in my deck, and it won me a duel once. Because of that I just kept it in my deck and I even put in Lady assailant of the flames and that also won me a duel once, and I didn't take it out until the 5ds era. Then Cowboy came out and I actually started to run a good burn card.
Sigh I must ave been the most unluckiest guy to ever open packs of magic ruler coz I only got painful choice invader of the throne and ten manga ryu rans
0:26 Idea to make Dicelops better by leaning into the dice angle: _The Destroyer Dicelops_ (FIRE) Level 4 Machine/Tuner/Effect _If an effect that requires a Die Roll is activated, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand or GY). Gains ATK equal to the results of any Die Roll Results X100. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can roll a six-sided die, then apply the result._ _● 1-2: Look at your opponent's hand, also discard 1 card from their hand._ _● 3-4: Both players reveal their hand, then Discard 1 card._ _● 5-6 Reveal your entire hand, then discard 1 card._ ATK/1800 DEF/200
@@ManuelRiccobono Listen, I’m having my fun as I’ve been having it since forever at this point, and either way you can’t tell me this ISN’T a better version of the current Dicelops… It’s a higher level Tuner with above average ATK stats and can be used with “Rekindling”, has a built in non-OPT special summon that another copy of itself (or ANY dice related effect for that matter) can trigger, improved die roll effects that are more beneficial to you and less self-detrimental, and can gain moderate amounts of ATK, either through it’s own dice rolling or other such effects.
@@rikosakurauchi7161 Hmm… I mean wouldn’t that limit the card to such cards that need to be on the field (Monsters, field spells, Pendulum Monsters in the Pendulum Zone and Continuous Spells/Traps)? And also, I WOULD need to put in a hard OPT, or at least a cost like discarding a card or paying LP. The idea with the current effect is to provide you multiple incentives to actually USE those Die rolling effects (The potential for multiple special summons AND an ATK boost that can stack up faster than your opponent can handle), and mitigating the inherent risk/rewards of most such cards by making itself a reward in it’s own right.
14:09 Idea to make this card a better FLIP monster with other effects that supplement your FIRE deck: _Fire Magician_ (FIRE) Level 4 Spellcaster/Flip/Tuner/Effect _FLIP: Set, Add to your hand, send to your GY, or Banish 1 card that mentions “FIRE” in its text from your hand, deck, Field, GY or Banishment._ _You can increase or decrease this card’s level by 1 for each card that is Banished. You can banish 2 other cards from your hand or field (Quick Effect): Apply 1 of the following effects._ _⚪️Inflict 800 damage to your opponent, Then increase the ATK of all FIRE monsters you control by 800._ _⚪️Special Summon 1 Level/Rank/Link 2 or lower FIRE monster form your hand, GY or Banishment, but banish it facedown during the End Phase of this turn._ _⚪️During the Main Phase of this turn, you can Normal Summon 1 FIRE monster (in addition to your Normal Summon/Set if it’s your turn.)_ ATK/1500 DEF/200
The elemental lords should have been an extra deck part of the elementsaber archetype. The lords become fusion monsters requiring 5 of their respective attribute but there would be an elementsaber spell card that would summon them ignoring their summoning conditions by having exactly 5 of that attribute in your GY.
Wait, is Tri-headed dust dragon's zone lock effect not once per turn? ...the crazy part of me wants to try using it to setup a full zone lock, considering that this card is 3 zones locked on its own, though I guess that would require putting two cards on the opponent's board somehow.
@theduelLogs I used to play long ago and Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi comes to mind as a terrible fire monster. Great effect with battle damage, but no presence, no protection, required 2 tributes, and returned to your hand in the end phase as it was a spirit monster. I would also love to see contents on the agents and all the cards that utilize sanctuary in the sky. I loved them, and built my deck around life gain and them. Turning life point gain into a weapon of sorts. I saw your vid where you used them in a virtual setting and it's all about Mars. I also had included a few copies of Saturn in that deck and could beef up Mars quickly by using its effect several times by bringing it back from the grave or banishing it with Spirit of light and miraculous decent causing exponential gaps in life points if I didn't win outright with the effect Mars was in prime position to win.
I actually have an Infernal Flame Emperor lying in my basement somewhere, probably from that original structure deck, which is the only physical Yugioh product I own. I've looked at it quite a few times but this is the first time I've ever actually read what it does.
Wait, how did you manage to say "Gradius" differently - think you said it correctly first time? Jokes aside, I actually liked this video - never knew some of the backstory or facts about em, nicely done Mr Logs!
aitsu managed to top a tournament in duel links once...with invoked...back when 12 traps, invoked engine and some fire monster would be called a solid deck
Fire Sorcerer was also used by the duel spirit of the Dark Magician Girl against Jaden in Yugioh GX, she banished her own DMG and a Magician’s Valkyria, which she would later bring back to the field with Dimension Fusion.
I'll admit that I honestly like Ultimate Obedient Fiend, but it could still have some use in a deck where you have options that allow you to choose your opponent's battle targets, especially if you play something that forces your opponent to attack when able with their Attack Position monsters. For decks that like the Battle Phase for one reason or another (like most of what I use in Master Duel), it can be pretty intimidating to enter the Battle Phase staring down the barrel of a 3500 ATK beat stick your opponent can just decide to be the target of your monster's attacks.
Hi Mr. Logs can you make a video of the hidden meaning of cards? I remember in a video you mentioned that Mai's Mirror Wall was to reflect how she puts an image towards others or something like that. Thanks for considering my request.
i like when Mr. Logs shows a bit of personality, it reminds me that he's a human. I always thought he was something like that Sam from windows Micosoft narrative voice thing back in 2004 lol
I was literally just thinking about Dicelops "it doesn't seem too bad, ignoring it's effect you've still got an 1800 level 4 monstet with 200 def that can be a target for rekindling" only for Duel Logs to call out those making that argument. Granted, Duel Logs in general avoids putting normal monsters as otherwise so many of those early ones would fill this list (the non-toon Ryu Ran, Flame Swordsman, etc) and there really isn't much to talk about them as it'd just be "not worth the cost to bring out" so obviously that does narrow down the pool of cards to choose from for worst lists.
I think there might actually be a niche use for Fire Sorcerer in today's metagame. Not necessarily a FIRE strategy, but a strategy that revolves around banishing cards, and retrieving said cards back
The fact that it's random means unless you can specifically get rid of your entire hand other than the 2 cards you want to banish, it's never going to be consistent. I just don't see it working.
10:40 I think it would be cool if heroes got a Double Fusion card, where you can fuse twice in a row. Either that or like, a spell that basically lets you use the first piece from the extra deck for a HERO monster specifically
so fun story about infernal flame emperor: back in college (around 2012 or so) i was having a for funsies match of my fire pile deck against a buddy's water pile. he had gravity bind active and we both had full fields of level 4+ monsters, so we were deadlocked for about 4-5 turns or so until i drew our boy at 4th worst and he couldn't stop my summon so gravity bind obviously ended and i swung for game. he definitely sucks but i just thought i'd share the fact that yes there was in fact one time across all permutations of casual/competitive play throughout the game's entire 26 year history where someone could actually say "infernal flame emperor won the game for me"
Blaze of Destruction was the second pair of structure decks (with its water counterpart). The first pair gave us Vampire Genesis and Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon...
Please let this be a new series. Would be fun to see the worst for the other attributes. Series of lists for the best for each attribute would be nice too
3:04 Idea to retrain Ryu here by making it a living Rekindling: _Toon Ryu-Ran_ (FIRE) Dragon/Toon/Effect _Requires FIRE Tributes to Normal Summon/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand or GY) by Tributing 2 cards you control, while you control "Toon World". Cannot attack the turn it is Special Summoned. While you control this face-up card, All Toon and “Toon” monsters in your GY are also treated as FIRE-attribute, and their DEF while in the GY becomes 200. While you control “Toon World”, You can discard 1 card (Quick-Effect): Special Summon from your GY as many FIRE Toon or “Toon” monsters as possible with 200 DEF, but banish them during the End Phase of this turn. While you control "Toon World" and your opponent controls no Toon monsters, this card can attack directly._ ATK/2600 DEF/200
Looking the card over, I think you could have mentioned Tri-Head Dust Dragon's effects are actually pretty unique. None of them have a once per turn at all. You could potentially make it a huge beatstick or even OTK against the right opponent. Similarly, it's board locking effect can be used on both monster or trap zones so even if you can't do a monster lock, maybe you could be cheeky and restrict spell zones enough that they might have to play into an Impermanence. It still isn't good, but I think it's more interesting than Manga Ryu-Ran.
I could see some funny GOAT format shenanigans with Ultimate Obedient Fiend and final attack order, since it would be a big beatstick and would force your opponent to crash into it
Final Attack Orders only forces all your opponents monsters into attack position. It doesn't force an attack. Maybe you're combining it with Staunch Defender? That forces all your opponents monsters to attack a specific monster if possible.
19:50 - Another Reason for Pyrorex to be on this List is that Unlike the rest of its Kin, which _replicate the Banned Card they represent_ (or Better, in the case of the *Delinquent Duo* one...), Pyrorex's Effect only deals *HALF of the ATK of the Destroyed Monster* to both Players - *_even this Master of the Forbidden Cards was Nerfed when the others were left Untouched, or made Better!_* Combined with _the Other Consequences_ of using the Elemental Lords, this makes Pyrorex *Completely Unusable for even its Intended Purpose!* 26:55 - If you looked Closer, you'd have noticed that this Sideboard was the Core Layout of the Troll-tastic *_Self-Destruction Draw Tournament Archetype,_* which aimed to Win the First Game with a Cookie-Cutter Deck, _then Side in this 15-Card Stalling Set to hold the board_ while dropping their own Life Points, then Flip *Self-Destruct Button* to End the Duel in a Draw: Tournament Rulings at the time _only allowed Time for Three Rounds,_ and the one with more Game Wins would Win the Round if Draws were involved; even with Time Limits put in place of that, *Self-Destruct Draw would just keep Blowing everything up until their Opponent Forfieted in Frustration;* this finally Ended with *_Upper Deck having to Ban Self-Destruct Button,_* and it remains on the Banlist to this Day! U.O.F. however, did have a couple of uses, mostly in conjunction with *Skill Drain* effects like you Mentioned - it also allowed a relevantly Easy option to create *a 7000-ATK Great Maju Garzett* when the Opponent inevitably destroys your Skill Drain Effect. Though that plays more to the usefulness of G.M.G. than U.O.F., and _U.O.F's usefulness in that Deck dropped as Better Options for Skill Drain Decks got introduced,_ so he's still deserving of his place on the List...
Would love to see another characters important cards video I would love to see one with Tyranno Hasselberry since dinosaurs are my favorite archetype in yugioh.
I got Aitsu as a kid, and he became a joke between me and my friends, and we would get super hyped whenever someone would get him out. Then my brother got Koitsu and they became an even bigger meme in my friend group. That's Aitsu and Koitsu's claim to fame, they're memes, and they were never meant to be good.
Dicelops actually saw use in my Duel Links Dark World deck when they added Grapha. It's actually pretty good there, all of its effects are beneficial to the strategy. Is it good? No. Do I like it? Yes absolutely.
With the mimighouls, fire sorcerer becomes a beast, if you pair with triple talent thrust you can make your opponent play with a hand of 3 in their turn
Imagine a field spell that lets you both special summon Aitsu or Soitsu from the hand or deck and add Doitstu or Koitsu to the hand and give them protection from card effects.
That six makes it a 2/3 but also removes the possibility that a 6 will show up. So you never get the whole hand removal. Its a chance one of you drops a card and you're playing with the higher odds. It actually works really well in my nostalgic feeling decks.
🔥This FIRE video reminded me of a FIRE Ritual monster and accompanied Spell I had come up with some time ago… A sort of Religious/Mythology themed monster with a dash of Science Fantasy, that revolved around a sort of “dance” with it’s effects: _Sun-Dance Shiva_ (FIRE) Level 1 Pyro/Ritual/Tuner/Effect _You can Ritual Summon this card with “Sun-Dance Celebration!”. Gains 200 original ATK X its original level, and can make additional attacks per battle phase X half its original level. Your opponent cannot target other monsters you control for attacks or monster effects. Once while this ritual summoned card is face-up on the field (Quick Effect), You can Inflict damage to your opponent equal to this card’s original level X100. Once per turn (Quick Effect), you can discard 1 card: Add 1 “Sun-Dance Celebration!” to your Hand from your Deck or GY. If this card would be banished after you’ve first Ritual Summoned a “Sun-Dance” Ritual Monster this duel: Add it and/or 1 “Sun Dance” Spell/Trap from your field, deck or GY to your hand instead._ ATK/0 DEF/200 _Sun-Dance Celebration!_ Ritual Spell _This card can be used to Ritual Summon (from your hand or GY) any number of “Sun-Dance Shiva” and/or other FIRE Ritual Monsters from your hand or GY. Monsters Ritual Summoned by this card gain the following effect while on the field._ _⚪️The first time this card would be destroyed by battle or card effect each turn, it is not destroyed._
I knew a guy who put Ultimate Obedient Fiend in his deck just because he thought it looked cool. Not once did he ever successfully attack with it. It worked decently as a wall...two decades ago.
10:49 Idea to make a better “Phoenix Enforcer”, while adding in the convenience of making it be treated as ALL of it’s materials: _Elemental HERO Radiant Phoenix Enforcer_ (FIRE) Level 8 Warrior/Fusion/Effect “Elemental HERO Avian" + "Elemental HERO Burstinatrix" + "Elemental HERO Sparkman" _Can also be Special Summoned by sending the above monsters you control to the GY. While face-up on the field or in the GY, this card’s name is treated as the above card’s, and also, it’s also LIGHT and WIND-Attribute. Cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. Face-up “HERO” monsters you control Gain 300 ATK/DEF for each “HERO” card in your GY. If a “HERO” monster you control destroys a monster by battle: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the ATK or DEF (Your Choice) of the destroyed monster._ ATK/2500 DEF/2100
26:58 Idea to make Heat here a better HERO fusion; _Elemental HERO Hyper-Heat_ Level 8 Warrior/Fusion/Effect "Elemental HERO Heat" + "Elemental HERO Lady Heat" _You can also Special Summon this card by tributing the above monsters you control (This is treated as a Fusion Summon). While face-up in the field, this card’s name is also treated as each of the above card’s. “HERO” Monsters you control gain 200 ATK/DEF for each “HERO” monster you control. If a “HERO” monster you control battles an opponent’s monster, it gains 1000 ATK/DEF during the damage step only. During each end phase, inflict 200 damage to your opponent for each Face-Up “HERO” monster you control._ ATK/2900 DEF/2200
In the Good Ol Days, I had Infernal Incinerator and Ultimate Obedient Fiend in my collection. Somehow, I managed to make them work, but it wasn't easy, considering how hard you have to work to make them playable. Ultimately, it's not really worth the effort. But tbh, I liked the cards a lot because they were really cool-looking.
I figured Shining Phoenix Enforcer would make this list. I really like this card and its counter part. I find it so stupid how so many OG hero fusions have that annoying can’t be special summoned in other ways lock
@@DarkSymphony777 Yeah, but even then there are better ways to deal comparable or greater burn damage, or otherwise better payoffs for banishing 2 cards. I’m thinking it would be fun to have her be retrained as a Flip/Effect with a FLIP effect AND an on-field effect. Maybe even make her a Flip Tuner or Pendulum so she benefits from a rather unique suite of support cards. Let me come up with something… _Fire Sorceress_ (FIRE) Level 4 Spellcaster/Flip/Tuner/Effect _FLIP: Add 1 Spell/Trap to your hand (From your Deck, GY or Banishment) that mentions “FIRE” in its text._ _Must be Normal Set (Cannot be Normal Summoned). You can banish 2 cards from your hand (Quick Effect): Apply 1 of the following effects, and if you do, inflict 800 Damage to your opponent._ _⚪️Increase the ATK of all Face-up FIRE monsters you control by 800._ _⚪️Special Summon 1 Level 2 or lower FIRE monster from your GY or Banishment, but Banish it Facedown during the end phase of this turn._ ATK/2300 DEF/200 THERE, I gave her a new FLIP effect to search out a FIRE focused Spell/Trap, then remade her old FLIP effect into something a smidge better, retaining her burn damage while also either buffing your FIRE monster’s ATK by 800 OR using her personal diet-“Rekindling” (using single Level 2 or less FIRE monsters instead of swaths of FIRE monsters with 200 DEF.)
The duel logs curse puts out a video and one of the cards he talks about becomes "playable". Fire Sorcerer might go crazy in mimighoul, although it probably won't be that good.
To be fair to Shining Phoenix Enforcer, it doesn't have any restrictions on whether or not you can use substitution monsters. So King of the Swamp can be used in place of Phoenix enforcer, considerably cutting down on the resources need to make it. Also, remember that King of the Swamp is a fairly staple card of fusion decks anyway, since it can double as extra copies of Polymerization too, so particularly back in the day it's not like there's any special deck-building requirements to use it. However I do agree that that the card is kinda self defeating, being both unable to be destroyed by battle and having a lot of attack points, when Shining Flare Wingman does a better job of being a blowout card. I don't think it justifies being in the top 10 worst though.
Guess there isn’t a massive ton of big pro wrestling fans and big yugioh fans became that Scott Steiner rant parody has seemed to have passed some folks by. A quiet few of us love it though!
I wish any of the Gradius reference cards were actually any good. The best it has going for it is Vic Viper T301 being... a niche tech option for Numeron OTK and maybe Cyber Dragons if you want to stretch.
>Is named "Ultimate OBEDIENT Fiend"
>Will only attack when you meet all of his demands
He's not as obedient as he says, truly a fiend.
Also note he isn't immune to be taken control over by card effect.

The mistake here is thinking the fiend is obedient. He's the ultimate fiend TO the obedient.
Wasnt he called forbidden?
My 5th grade year. There was a 4th grade kid who goes around scouting, looking for anybody who had YugiOh cards, his get momma who is a custodian to find you and she will threaten to get you expel from school if you don't gave her your cards. If you REFUSE she will frisk/search you. She take your cards. She will say you can have it back after lunch or whatever but you never get it back. She give the cards to the little sh!t.
30-year-old me watching this video: Oh, man, how much did my deck SUUUUUUUCK back in the day?!?!
Real😂😂
Damn that was me with Blue Eyes Shining Dragon back in the day 😂😂😂
Me when I had a deck with high level Dragon monsters to use to try and summon Five-Headed Dragon
@@IamJerf same, my deck is blue eyes now
Way back, I had a guy on a tournament use fire sorcerers with creature swaps and book of moons to decimate my hand.
XD
That said the only time I DON"T like that is when the win condition of the game involves litereally NOT playing the game, just flipping a coin and if heads, you win, if tails, you lose, but that's kind of what modern meta decks have turned into, I shouldn't have to be lucky enough to draw Ash to beat Tears just cause my opponent is playing Tears.
I love the silly edits like this on top 10 videos.
Please keep them up Mr. Logs, I love you.
I usually dislike that you take cards off the list if theyve shown up in other videos, but i totally understand it
So i extra like that you include them in the Honorable mentions spot, please continue doing that!
Glad Firegrass isnt on the list. Time to put 3 of them in my deck.
"End a cartoon faster than 4Kids TV"
Me: Not possible!
I never realized the A-Team guys where Koitsu and his friends! Damn.
I love these "worst cards" videos, makes me realize how bad I was at this game as a kid
@@MarioMastar I had a bunch of monsters in my deck I couldn't summon. Trust me, I just sucked at it
@@ehunter1196 Nah. You didn't suck at it. It was..well.."PLAYGROUND YUGIOH". That's what the show did so we follow what the show did. Lol
that new Mimighoul archetype might make Fire Princess a wee bit better lmao

Just went out a video exactly about that. It's INSANE how a bad card can be turned useful in the right strategy 🎉
WE HAND RIPPING FOR 2 WITH THIS ONE 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Did anyone catch the mention of Skydiving Field (see 29:30):
"While this card is face-up on the field, all players must Duel while skydiving."
😂😂😂
Still better than the handshake spell card
What’s funny is Fire Sorcerer might be seeing some gimmicky play as a brick in Gimmighoul. As they have a card capable of placing a flip monster on your opponent’s field, and then they can flip her.
11:04 Shiny Feenith Enforcer
Ayo wait were Duel Logs lists always this funny or is this a more recent thing??? Homie got SASSY we love to hear it
A more recent thing definitively. From what I understand, it's because of new Writer(s?) that make the Scripts for him.
This new content has been fire! Really enjoy the fun facts thrown in
BuT mR. LoGs! I spit my drink from laughing. I love your videos.
Fire Sorcerer with Mimighoul will be a great deck.
16:30 Impressive that you mentioned the anime duel Tea had and not mentioning her effect was used by banishing POT OF GREED AND GRACEFUL CHARITY!
That has to be one of the most outrageous 0 IQ plays you can ever do in a duel
Maybe she didn't knew what it does?
Dante)
Awesome new format Mr Logs. Keep up the good work
22:58 Idea to improve this card by playing into the “Incinerator” part:
_The Infernal Incinerator_ (FIRE)
Level 6
Fiend/Effect
_Requires a Tribute with 2000 or more total ATK/DEF to Normal Summon/Set. Can be Special Summoned (From your hand) by discarding all other cards from your hand (Quick Effect). Gains 500 ATK for every card that is sent to the GY or banished. Once per turn Quick Effect), You can decrease this card’s ATK: Decrease the ATK/DEF of 1 monster your opponent controls by an equal amount, and if it’s ATK or DEF has been reduced to 0 as a result, destroy it._
ATK/2800 DEF/1800
As a kid I put fire sorcerer in my deck, and it won me a duel once. Because of that I just kept it in my deck and I even put in Lady assailant of the flames and that also won me a duel once, and I didn't take it out until the 5ds era. Then Cowboy came out and I actually started to run a good burn card.
"But Mr. Logs! you might say..." I don't know why, but that line had me cracking up lol
I used Dicelops in my decks DuelLogs :(
I find his effect very funny even if it loses me the duel
Sigh I must ave been the most unluckiest guy to ever open packs of magic ruler coz I only got painful choice invader of the throne and ten manga ryu rans
Dude, you're actually so funny. 😂 always love a DuelLogs video
0:26 Idea to make Dicelops better by leaning into the dice angle:
_The Destroyer Dicelops_ (FIRE)
Level 4
Machine/Tuner/Effect
_If an effect that requires a Die Roll is activated, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand or GY). Gains ATK equal to the results of any Die Roll Results X100. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can roll a six-sided die, then apply the result._
_● 1-2: Look at your opponent's hand, also discard 1 card from their hand._
_● 3-4: Both players reveal their hand, then Discard 1 card._
_● 5-6 Reveal your entire hand, then discard 1 card._

"Thank you for your suggestion, but we do not care" - konamy designers
@@ManuelRiccobono
Listen, I’m having my fun as I’ve been having it since forever at this point, and either way you can’t tell me this ISN’T a better version of the current Dicelops… It’s a higher level Tuner with above average ATK stats and can be used with “Rekindling”, has a built in non-OPT special summon that another copy of itself (or ANY dice related effect for that matter) can trigger, improved die roll effects that are more beneficial to you and less self-detrimental, and can gain moderate amounts of ATK, either through it’s own dice rolling or other such effects.
I think make it special summonable if you control gamble card like effect that roll dice much better.., i mean not by activating effect
@@rikosakurauchi7161
Hmm… I mean wouldn’t that limit the card to such cards that need to be on the field (Monsters, field spells, Pendulum Monsters in the Pendulum Zone and Continuous Spells/Traps)? And also, I WOULD need to put in a hard OPT, or at least a cost like discarding a card or paying LP. The idea with the current effect is to provide you multiple incentives to actually USE those Die rolling effects (The potential for multiple special summons AND an ATK boost that can stack up faster than your opponent can handle), and mitigating the inherent risk/rewards of most such cards by making itself a reward in it’s own right.
14:09 Idea to make this card a better FLIP monster with other effects that supplement your FIRE deck:
_Fire Magician_ (FIRE)
Level 4
Spellcaster/Flip/Tuner/Effect
_FLIP: Set, Add to your hand, send to your GY, or Banish 1 card that mentions “FIRE” in its text from your hand, deck, Field, GY or Banishment._
_You can increase or decrease this card’s level by 1 for each card that is Banished. You can banish 2 other cards from your hand or field (Quick Effect): Apply 1 of the following effects._
_⚪️Inflict 800 damage to your opponent, Then increase the ATK of all FIRE monsters you control by 800._
_⚪️Special Summon 1 Level/Rank/Link 2 or lower FIRE monster form your hand, GY or Banishment, but banish it facedown during the End Phase of this turn._
_⚪️During the Main Phase of this turn, you can Normal Summon 1 FIRE monster (in addition to your Normal Summon/Set if it’s your turn.)_
ATK/1500 DEF/200
With an Atk/Def stat like that, this would be an interesting tech for Charmers with their field spell and a more Fire based strategy
Alternative name: "Top 10 FIRE monsters that you should try to make work in your gimmick deck".
Regardless of the speaking mistakes, great video as usual.
I'm not sure why Grandsoil isn't a Rock, but a Beast-Warrior, hence it's name.
Love seeing DuelLogs Duel Logs leak into the main channel
Is it bad to say I used to unironically run Ultimate Obedient Fiend in a Axe of Fools/Skill Drain centered deck?
I really love this channel
Necrophades? NecrophadEEZ NU-
Neat analysis video! Thanks for uploading!
OMG! I've had Aitsu since I was a teenager and I never realized he's the red guy from the Fossil Dig card artwork
4:54 hey! No fair, we need those life points to survive our opponents battle phase because they blew up our board with basic combo pieces and negates.
i like when Mr. Logs shows a bit of personality, it reminds me that he's a human. I always thought he was something like that Sam from windows Micosoft narrative voice thing back in 2004 lol
reminder: they just turned Allure queen into a archetype.
It already was one no?
It was only like 2-3 Lv monsters before Konami just recently revealed to us 2 more monsters and a field spell
0:50 You don't even need to do that. You can get Orgoth via generic Tickets, which you get plenty of in the game.
Either that or like, a spell that basically lets you use the first piece from the extra deck for a HERO monster specifically
so fun story about infernal flame emperor: back in college (around 2012 or so) i was having a for funsies match of my fire pile deck against a buddy's water pile. he had gravity bind active and we both had full fields of level 4+ monsters, so we were deadlocked for about 4-5 turns or so until i drew our boy at 4th worst and he couldn't stop my summon so gravity bind obviously ended and i swung for game. he definitely sucks but i just thought i'd share the fact that yes there was in fact one time across all permutations of casual/competitive play throughout the game's entire 26 year history where someone could actually say "infernal flame emperor won the game for me"
Absolutely adore the new scripts!!
5:00 Great thing there's a card that will inflict summoning sickness to everyone. Making great synergy with those toon cards. :D
Blaze of Destruction was the second pair of structure decks (with its water counterpart). The first pair gave us Vampire Genesis and Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon...
3:03 One thing Dicelops has going for it is its stat of 200 Def, so at least it's a target for Rekindling.
Please let this be a new series. Would be fun to see the worst for the other attributes. Series of lists for the best for each attribute would be nice too
3:04 Idea to retrain Ryu here by making it a living Rekindling:
_Toon Ryu-Ran_ (FIRE)
Dragon/Toon/Effect
_Requires FIRE Tributes to Normal Summon/Set. While you control "Toon World" and your opponent controls no Toon monsters, this card can attack directly._
ATK/2600 DEF/200
Looking the card over, I think you could have mentioned Tri-Head Dust Dragon's effects are actually pretty unique. None of them have a once per turn at all. You could potentially make it a huge beatstick or even OTK against the right opponent. Similarly, it's board locking effect can be used on both monster or trap zones so even if you can't do a monster lock, maybe you could be cheeky and restrict spell zones enough that they might have to play into an Impermanence. It still isn't good, but I think it's more interesting than Manga Ryu-Ran.
He also missed the fact that it isn't restricted to XYZ summon to use its effect to gain attack, it just says Special Summon.
@@trisertricordoh2127 For some reason I thought the attack gain effect was a detach effect, but you make a good point too.
19:50 - Another Reason for Pyrorex to be on this List is that Unlike the rest of its Kin, which _replicate the Banned Card they represent_ (or Better, in the case of the *Delinquent Duo* one...), Pyrorex's Effect only deals *HALF of the ATK of the Destroyed Monster* to both Players - *_even this Master of the Forbidden Cards was Nerfed when the others were left Untouched, or made Better!_* Combined with _the Other Consequences_ of using the Elemental Lords, this makes Pyrorex *Completely Unusable for even its Intended Purpose!*
26:55 - If you looked Closer, you'd have noticed that this Sideboard was the Core Layout of the Troll-tastic *_Self-Destruction Draw Tournament Archetype,_* which aimed to Win the First Game with a Cookie-Cutter Deck, _then Side in this 15-Card Stalling Set to hold the board_ while dropping their own Life Points, then Flip *Self-Destruct Button* to End the Duel in a Draw: Tournament Rulings at the time _only allowed Time for Three Rounds,_ and the one with more Game Wins would Win the Round if Draws were involved; even with Time Limits put in place of that, *Self-Destruct Draw would just keep Blowing everything up until their Opponent Forfieted in Frustration;* this finally Ended with *_Upper Deck having to Ban Self-Destruct Button,_* and it remains on the Banlist to this Day!
U.O.F. however, did have a couple of uses, mostly in conjunction with *Skill Drain* effects like you Mentioned - it also allowed a relevantly Easy option to create *a 7000-ATK Great Maju Garzett* when the Opponent inevitably destroys your Skill Drain Effect.
I recognized Dicelops. I've spent my spare time the past month and change organizing my bulk. I've got about a half dozen copies of him.
Gradius and Parodius mentioned. Major points to that.
0:37 My little headcanon. Yugioh dice cards give horrible result upon 6 because loaded die you can buy are designed to give you 6.
Why don't you combo Ultimate Obedient Fiend with Battle Mania or Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai?
That six makes it a 2/3 but also removes the possibility that a 6 will show up.
So you never get the whole hand removal.
Its a chance one of you drops a card and you're playing with the higher odds.
It actually works really well in my nostalgic feeling decks.
🔥This FIRE video reminded me of a FIRE Ritual monster and accompanied Spell I had come up with some time ago… A sort of Religious/Mythology themed monster with a dash of Science Fantasy, that revolved around a sort of “dance” with it’s effects:
_Sun-Dance Shiva_ (FIRE)

_You can also Special Summon this card by tributing the above monsters you control (This is treated as a Fusion Summon). During each end phase, inflict 200 damage to your opponent for each Face-Up “HERO” monster you control._

FANTASTIC number 1 description
Could you do a video of majespectors?
I have a group of cards that need a video. Seeing as you covered Video game cards could you go over the 10 Speed Spell cards from the 5ds games
Before the recent support, Tri-Head helped Fire Kings get over decks like Blue-Eyes with MAX dragon
I figured Shining Phoenix Enforcer would make this list. I really like this card and its counter part. I find it so stupid how so many OG hero fusions have that annoying can’t be special summoned in other ways lock
Can we get the other element or the monster types for future videos?
Honestly this video might become outdated by virture of mimighoul possibly making fire sorceress playable
@@DarkSymphony777
Yeah, but even then there are better ways to deal comparable or greater burn damage, or otherwise better payoffs for banishing 2 cards.
I’m thinking it would be fun to have her be retrained as a Flip/Effect with a FLIP effect AND an on-field effect. Maybe even make her a Flip Tuner or Pendulum so she benefits from a rather unique suite of support cards.
Let me come up with something…
_Fire Sorceress_ (FIRE)
Level 4
Spellcaster/Flip/Tuner/Effect
_FLIP: Add 1 Spell/Trap to your hand (From your Deck, GY or Banishment) that mentions “FIRE” in its text._
_Must be Normal Set (Cannot be Normal Summoned). You can banish 2 cards from your hand (Quick Effect): Apply 1 of the following effects, and if you do, inflict 800 Damage to your opponent._
_⚪️Increase the ATK of all Face-up FIRE monsters you control by 800._
_⚪️Special Summon 1 Level 2 or lower FIRE monster from your GY or Banishment, but Banish it Facedown during the end phase of this turn._
ATK/2300 DEF/200
THERE, I gave her a new FLIP effect to search out a FIRE focused Spell/Trap, then remade her old FLIP effect into something a smidge better, retaining her burn damage while also either buffing your FIRE monster’s ATK by 800 OR using her personal diet-“Rekindling” (using single Level 2 or less FIRE monsters instead of swaths of FIRE monsters with 200 DEF.)
The duel logs curse puts out a video and one of the cards he talks about becomes "playable". Fire Sorcerer might go crazy in mimighoul, although it probably won't be that good.
Ring of destruction remade artwork. Really makes you think, is gren4des really beter than flames ?
I never understood the redesign.
About Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer being pratically impossible to get rid of, there are ways like tribute it with any kaiju/lava golem
Lmao, it folds to a single quick spell (you know which one)
Top 10 worst anime archetypes (of the ones actually released) could be a fun one
Yeah it’s other benefit it’s also an E-hero so it could easily benefit with other Hero cards even though it that’s not a staple anymore.
