Johnny Cash was a legendary country music singer, songwriter and musician. Born on February 26, 1932 in Kingsland, Arkansas, Johnny made his way up to be one of the most influential artists of all time. His genre-spanning music embraced country, rock and roll, rockabilly, blues, folk, and gospel sounds with top hits such as “Ring of Fire,” “Walk the Line,” and “Folsom Prison Blues.” Honored with multiple Grammy awards throughout his lifetime, Johnny was also inducted into both the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Country Music Hall of Fame. He often collaborated with other popular music icons, such as Bob Dylan, Kris Kristofferson and Willie Nelson, to name a few. “Hello I’m Johnny Cash” those words were life changing for a 4 year old kid watching this show in Pasadena , Texas . I watched this show every episode until the one day it didn’t come on! I was devastated. My parents told me it had been canceled.
The trumpet sounds, simplicity and majestic lyrics, the boom chicka boom electric guitar beat at the background, and the Carter sisters backing melody just puts this in heaven
Oh yeah .. not to mention a majestic baritone to go along with it.

I got to see johnny, June & the Carter sisters at the big stage in CA @ the Stanislaus county fair. It's a memory I'll never forget (especially since my father in law gave us two of the four tickets to the fair as a birthday present from one of his kids - he knew that I would love it!)❤❤❤

I m a rocker myself but I respect and apreciate all kinds of music. Especialy if they tell the story. And there is no better one to tell the story but Johy Cash. Country music is known for that. I miss his voice and all the songs that were real country. Theese days you dont get that in country music. It doesnt have that sound. Also his atitude, posture, everything. The man from head to toe
