You may already know us. We're the same weirdos as The Siren's Log where we dive, fish, sail and are currently looking for our future sailboat. We had a short run of videos go viral and gained a good share of subscribers rather quickly, and then every time that we'd do a VW videos after that, we actually lost some of you. We realized that there was no reason why we souldn't share our unexpected VW reality over here with you, but only to the ones of you who love it. So here we are. Another VW Channel. A good ol spin-off from The Siren's Log.
In this weeks episode, we're still working on my Grandmas 1969 VW beetle bug and things are taking a lot longer than expected.

I gotta 63 working on finishing up. I have worked on old fords and chevys. Vws are more difficult to work on and i do admire your progress on it. They are iconic and well made reliable cars. Grandma will love it.
Awhh thank you!!! Hal has worked on fords, chevys, etc and he actually thinks the VWs are simple. He keeps telling me it’s like a lawn mower. lol 🤣

Yes I still have VWs. Too many to list. All are old ones with exception of a couple Rabbits and 2 mid 80's VW Golf diesels. Thanks for the videos.@@AnotherVWChannel

You perfectly summed up working on a beetle in this video 😂 when you said for the most simple setup it's the hardest thing you have ever done. People always say these are simple and easy to work on..never worked in one.
Hahaha Yeah Hal prefers them to any other vehicle. But a lot of mechanics won’t even touch them! When I inherited both my busses in 2015, my grandpa hadn’t driven the 73 in probably 6 months so I couldn’t get either to run. I needed to drive them both home to Florida from Alabama and I called EVERY mechanic within a 45 minute radius and no one would touch either of them. I literally had to hire a shipping company. I’d have spent more time on them there but I was overwhelmed with the entire estate. It was a lot and the busses were a small part of it so I did what I had to do.
