I want to say there was an old study done by the swedes (not the swiss) around the time they switched over to their m90 camouflage uniforms from their old ranger green m59's that tested the concealability of both and it wasn't dramatically different behind cover or in the open. But their confidence in maneuvering was dramatically improved while wearing camouflage uniforms. I may have read that while in Sweden because I've been unable to find anything in English about it the last few times I looked so take that all with a grain of salt.

i have 1 of those jackets,the best field jacket I've ever had,so many pockets, down side,its a heavy coat,lots of material.
