My brother really likes the looks of it. It has more padding in it, than original, so it does make seat height a little higher. We will have to see once he gets it out on the road. If spring ever gets here, so we can pull the bikes out. Thanks for watching and stay safe out there 👍

I love you guys videos I’ve watched them all buy I was curious just how much the daylong seat cost . Also just how hard was that trunk install would you do it again
The seat has quiet a range of pricing. it depends on alot of things, such as what materials you want, if you want a backrest, if you want seat extension, also shipping cost can be a bit much. If you are local you can avoid that cost. But mine around 1.5k with shipping. would be way cheaper if you didnt have to ship so far. Also the trunk install was not that bad. Make sure, you decide if you want passenger extension before ordering a sear or installing trunk. I put on 4 inch extension and I am very glad I did.

My brother's Goldwing was the bagger version so it didn't come with heated seats. But he says that if you have heated seats, the Russell Day Long still heats but he does not know how well. Sorry, not being able to answer your question. Thanks you for watching and stay safe out there 👍
The seat looks fantastic! Question about your Wing....you have the bagger version and added the Tour pack after. Is the added Tour pack the bigger tour pack that came out in '21 I believe? If so, you've got a pretty sweet ride there! I've got a 2019 Tour DCT in Blue,, but that blue is much cooler. Let us know how the seat rides!
Yes, it is the bigger tour pack, 2 full size helmets fit with room to spare. I will get my brother to answer how the seat rides, since it is his bike. But he keeps telling me, to wake him up when we get to our destination. 🤣🤣🤣 He says it's so comfortable that he could fall asleep on it. Thanks for watching and stay safe out there 👍

to be honest the seat is a little higher, I would say about an inch. if I come out of the seat pocket and stand up front, then yes I can still flat foot it. That is the only thing that will take a little getting used to, you have to stand up out of the seat pocket. if that drives you nuts, then you might want to look at the RDL sport version. the seat pocket is a little less defined.
My seat goes in early May. I’m going to order the red stitching now too. I didn’t notice a place on the order form to add the driver backrest pouch. I want to get that as well. Do you know if you can run a power cord up through the backrest canal?
There isn't a hole going thru it. But when u order, u can have any customisation u want done. The seats are really expensive but they will work with u on just about anything

I am looking forward to spring. New York winters are driving me nuts. But finally getting closer. I might look like a fool but been sitting on it in the garage. Will take a little getting used to at stops but while riding it will feel amazing

Do you notice any change in your reach to the ground? Can you flat foot both feet?
