I've been watching a ton of Leica Q2 videos lately. Just for fun, really. This is the first one where I feel I'm looking at true street photography. It's bold. It's bright yet moody. Pushed where it should be, pulled back where it shouldn't. Original comps. Great technique, and using the right technique per shot. I swear I saw 30 other videos that are just talking about why Leica is great then showing photos that have zero soul. Just people on cell phones and shots of them that look like they're from a cell phone, you know? After this, I finally get a sense for the Leica as a street tool and now finally can pursue picking one up. So thanks a bunch for that!

I actually really like the metro shots especially at the pannenhuis, the round forms, heavy moody contrast, and orange/red that bounce of it beautiful!!!!. Looking forward to the next vid.

Many thanks Kris ! I use some custom made (simple) Lightroom presets adn the rest is contrast, saturation, exposure. I shoot in RAW and edit my pictures in Lr., and I don't spend too much time :) I will uplaod soon a link with the presets if you use Lightroom. Thank you for watching.
Durable post, Octavian. Metro shot at about 12 min (guy in light) best for drama, IMO. Lesson for viewers is by example: rise above your comfort zone. Color in metro is striking - lots of photo opportunities when people wear similar colors. (Adding numbers to images would make it easier for viewers to comment.)
Of course you started with a great intro. I could almost feel the rain. Well, it looks like the metros and metro stations have a lot of potential for photography. I really like those lines. It seems that the changing weather in Brussels is perfect for shots of water reflection. Maybe it's just me, but the music is so perfectly matching the images of the light circles on the ceiling. First meal at 14? Tough guy 😉 Very good episode. Don't quit the waffles 😄

I like your metro pictures. What is your “Film Style” setting? Is “Standard” or “Vivid”? How about “contrast” “sharpness” and “saturation” setting?
Hi there Tony ! I shoot in DNG mode, and afterwards apply my own presets and editing the contrast, saturation, exposure, shadows, black etc :)
