Nice shots and from you, some "normal" but I really like them ! 4.27 the man & umbrella, fantastic ! 4.47 the suikerspin, lovely :-)) 6.17 a good background works well !
Ciao Octavian. I live in a small town (Mantova, Italy) and it's not always easy to find original shots, especially when looking for modern backgrounds in a historic city :))). Thanks for your always interesting ideas
Couldn't agree more Alfonso :) It's not that easy but I guess small towns are good for documentary work :). Thank you for watching and maybe see you soon in Italy :)
Quality post, Octavian. Street fair footage a plus (slow-mo worked very well) - looked like good photo ops at food and game stalls. YT analytics should be between you and YT; don’t take them to heart. Do what you are comfortable with, but don’t be shy about trying something a tad different - that’s how we grow, after all. Missed the pic sequence numbers in this episode. However, hand reflection and billboard proximity shots my fav - instructive to viewers to see footage of how you waited and tried different compositions of passers by👍 (instead of just showing the final pics). In general, could see your technique, overall. Three paddle “rafters” looked like a promising shot as they came more and more into frame. What happened? Agree, the genre is easier in a big city, w/lots going on. However, w/some effort and patience (like billboard shots) you should be able to do well even in a small town. The genre is wider than most people think, IMO. (BTW, you losing weight?) Cheers!
Hi Paul and thank you :). Well YT analytics helps me to determine what videos are of interest for the watchers of this channel. Still finding my way here, in the YT game but defintely enjoying making the videos :). Oh damn, yeah I forgot to number the shots this video, indeed :). The rafters I wanted to get only the reflections, I didn't want to go for a simple boring shot, tried to get a more creative with that one :). The gyms are open for about 3 weeks now so I am doing more sports and fasting, trying to get in shape :) (and to be honest as it's pretty warm haven't had a waffle in 4 weeks if I am not wrong) :). Thanks again for being supportive and part of this community :)
“Small town” is certainly relative. The scenes here appear to me to be a large town compared to our village of 8,000 People, one small market, one gas station and four restaurants, no traffic lights and no sidewalks. That is small. 😀
Probably everyone will say this. The intro and outro are pretty awesome. Even if it is a small town you've managed to take some great shots there. I really liked the colors, the shadows and the framing. It seems that the rainy weather helped a little. Music, as always , perfect match. A very good episode 👏👏👏
THAT intro 👏👏👏👏
Thanks :)
Always a pleasure to look your video Octavian ! Impatient for the next one...

True, it's not that small but it's smaller than Brussels, Antwerp or Gent where I usually go to do street photography.
