I feel it's one of the prettiest melodies ever written.......and they just keep getting better.
Ten years ago Miku had a dream while Daydreaming today we all are grateful her dreams are coming true.

Daydreaming, About Us, Anemone, Endless Story, Memorable, PAGE, Wonderland, Awkward, Start Over, Mirage, At the Drop of a Hat and Smile -- an unbelievable range of mid-tempo songs from the greatest hard rock band on the planet - Band-Maid. "Daydreaming," "YOLO," "Puzzle,” and a host of others are world-class masterpieces. Although I love Daydreaming just the way it is and believe it may be Band-Maid's best composed and overall accessible song, I've always wondered if it was sung in English, how deep in the international market Daydreaming would have traveled...? Oh well, I'll stop daydreaming now. Thx Red, for another great Band-Maid reaction!
This song is still my undisputed #1 of these ladies. Time and again, it manages to take me away from my everyday life to the most diverse places of my thoughts. And at the latest, when Kanami rolls over me like a truck with her solo, I have to be really careful not to lose my composure on some days. I admit that I do not always succeed. 😏
I don't know if the statement still stands, but up until a few years ago, Kanami described 'Daydreaming' on several occasions as her 'favorite song' and the hardest to write. As far as I'm concerned, she and the ladies have created a masterpiece with it that will probably accompany me for the rest of my life. ❤🔥🤘🏻

Yes! My number 1 too. Different used to be my no.1. Then while i was doing a compilation i discover how beautiful Daydreaming is....
It always grabs my heart when Mincho drops into that guitar solo. It makes my eyes leak. Such power. I could see on your face, it did the same to you.

“Daydreaming” is another example of shapeshifting. That’s how I describe this mysterious ability the Maids have of creating unique musical works that sound unmistakably like Band Maid. There are a few other artists that I can name who do this at this level; however, I’m hesitant to put Band Maid alongside god-tier musical artists yet. But I believe they’re worthy of much more critical acclaim.
Fun note for you, Red: “Daydreaming” was the A-side of a two-song release in 2017. Which means it would only be fair to follow up with the B-side: “Choose Me!”
Good point. Band Maid does the whole rock spectrum yet has that Band Maid sound, even when doing some one else's music. I have no problem giving them S-tier status. All of their own compositions are great, no stinkers. How many songs is that? 80 to 100!

No you were right the first time, magicians indeed.
But you still need the songs that where the real magic is, and 100+ songs of pure bliss fills the stocking.
I can count on one hand the # of songs that have a guitar solo that can literally bring on the onion ninjas. This is one of them.

Miku writes of longing, and Saiki gives it voice. Then Kanami's guitar erupts with emotion like fireworks on a warm summer evening.
In my opinion, you can make a second review of a Band-Maid song if you want. Just don't label it "first time reaction." Call it "analysis" or "follow up" or "second thoughts" or something. I hate to see you waste the footage, especially since you can listen to Band-Maid many times and still hear new things each time. You might have a second-listening observation that everyone deserves to hear.
