Wow! What a twofer of songs! A Masterpice and a Tour De Force, back-to-back. Whew! I've heard both of them many, many times and they still just BLOW ME AWAY! Such a special group of amazing composers, musicians, performers...well...incredible humans. We are very, very lucky. 🕊
Musical brilliance. I've never seen 5 brains work together so amazingly. They could probably play the spoons and water glasses and make it sound extraordinary. BAND-MAID is Awesome. Peace.

It was a joy to watch you react to these 2 great Band-Maid songs back to back! Great to see that you were not only listening, but also feeling the songs! the pure joy of listening to incredible music. It brings back the memory of when I first saw and heard Blooming. Literally stunned and speechless. Funny, even now, after hearing Blooming to many times to count, I still can shake my head in wonder. It is a really great idea, executed flawlessly. Both heavy and beautiful.
In the Netflix movie Kate, the ONLY way to stop the Blooming Kanami solo was to wreck the stinking car! 🎸Expecting a Band-Maid poster to appear behind you in the near future LOL Fun reaction, I think I almost saw tears 😊
Yep Kate tried to kill "Blooming" so "Blooming" made her crash the car instead :)

Great duo of songs… Daydreaming is so beautiful, and Blooming… well, Blooming is a masterpiece. A one in a million song in music (although the odds are better if we just consider Band Maid). 😎

Your gasp when Kanami comes in with that solo in Daydreaming is what happens to me every time I listen to this song even though I know it's coming. The lead in and out of the solo is absolutely perfect

Two great choices, Verdy! Of course, any song from the Maids 118 song catalog is, to me, a great choice. But Daydreaming is certainly a masterpiece that should have gone viral throughout the world, imo. Maybe if it was sung in English, eh? And Blooming is simply Brilliant! Thanks for this lovely reaction. These are two of my all-time favorite Band-Maid songs. Kanami's solo in daydreaming, let me tear up every time. And the energy from Blooming is just amazing.

"Daydreaming" is a lovely song and one of the better examples of their diverse songwriting. It's a good showcase for Saiki's vocals, too. "Blooming" was one of the three songs I heard the first night I discovered B-M.
As for where to go next, I suggest "Play" and "Real Existence," both live versions from their official channel. Both songs are intense and fun and energetic and are recorded a year apart. "Real Existence" has an official video, but I feel the live version is superior and the video, while it's worth watching eventually, isn't anything special.
Personally, I love their diversity of rock. It's hard to get bored when things change up on you.
Great reactions. Band-Maid filmed itself performing "Daydreaming" live in concert. Amazing performance. Very different arrangement than the studio recording you just heard. Best band... Because they are the most versatile rockband on planet earth... These two songs were pretty good examples for that! Greetings from Germany :)
What a great combination of songs. 👍🏻 Daydreaming is and will remain my number one of these ladies for now, as it always gets me emotionally. And Blooming is a masterpiece that has a multiple times better effect on me than any coffee or energy drink could have. And I'm usually a caffeine junkie. :)

Great reaction!! 😀 I think these are two of their absolute best songs and you seem to feel that way as well. I love the serene beauty of Daydreaming and the unexpected but perfect guitar solo Kanami delivers. But the parts Akane and Misa crafted are just as important to song. And then Saiki and Miku’s singing - just gorgeous!
Blooming - yeah, it’s a very special rock song - one of the best I’ve ever heard in my 7 decades on the planet 🌍 - the 30sec solo section - no words 😶

Blooming is definitely one of my favorite music videos. Very rarely do I prefer a MV over live but they did such a good job producing this one.

Excellent choice! I love both these songs and the MV's. As did you clearly! Great reaction as always. Band-Maid performed an acoustic set which was streamed on xmas day and they just released one song from the set today ('Catharsis' th-cam.com/video/tx9h41gaNo0/w-d-xo.html ). For once, too, they were not wearing any maid-related clothes, just some outfits they'd chosen especially for this gig, all of which look like the cutting edge of 21st century fashion!
The best smooth song IMO is About Us. Heartbreaking vocals and amazing arrangement ... so what else is new haha'. Oh , and the bass . OMG, that is super smooth.
The lead guitarist mention in an interview that she learned to solo by listening to a lot of Carlos Santana and Stevie Ray Vaughn. And it shows!

"I have no idea to this day what those two Japanese ladies were singing about. Truth is...I don't wanna know. Some things are best left unsaid. I like to think they were singing about something so beautiful it can't be expressed in words...and makes your heart ache because of it. I tell ya, those voices soared...higher and farther than anybody in a grey place dares to dream. It was like some beautiful pigeon (Po!) flapped into our drab little cage and made those walls dissolve away. And for the briefest of moments...every last Master and Princess in Yorkshire Bank felt free"...

Great choices! The epic ballad, Kanami's most difficult composition and her favorite, so far! Then onto the "Home-work song". Mincho challenged her bandmates to come up with a part for a song and send it to her, then she crafted it into the masterpiece that is "Blooming"! Glad you enjoyed them!
Is that statement still prevalent today? I know she made that statement shortly after this song came out, but the music has got way more complicated and progressive since then so I don't know how much that actually stands true today.
@@AMetalheadsPerspective I should have put an addition to that, with at least into 2020 and beyond! I haven't heard of any new comments about new songs from Mincho, but they do seem more complex and intricate. May not be relevant now. Still a masterpiece!

That's exactly what Mincho said about how Blooming was made. She said "far away" part was made by Miku, but Miku forgot what she did. Mincho confessed that she didn't remember who made what part except for Miku's part😂
@@K.H.D710 I read that MISA came up with her part while being a bit tipsy, and made it so hard she wasn't sure she could actually do it in a song. So glad she was wrong about that!

Yeah daydreaming is more closer to pop i guess? Some call it a power ballad- whereas blooming is fast and lively rock with almost rap style singing- but they are both fantastic songs.
For 2 more lighter 'smoother' songs try smile instrumental, or 'about us'. For 2 heavy suggestions try 'no god' or 'Rhinne' offical lives. ofcourse they have like 100+ songs between the extremes that are all amazing too :) I'll leave that to others because if i was to list all their songs I think you should check out- its basically all of them lol.

Love the song "Blooming" but I literally can't watch the video without getting a headache, because the camera cuts at a frequency of 2-3/second for most of it. I have the same problem with many music videos. I'm only saying this because I'm wondering if anyone else experiences the same problem. It might just be that my brain is getting old and slow. Maybe it's because bonnets aren't supposed to have brains but I stole one. Either way great reactions and I'll stick around for more.
Blooming never bothered me but I get a similar feeling when I watch anything from Nightwishes end of an era concert dvd. Ridiculous amount of rapidly switching through the different cameras
