Loved the Liberty, Cotton Patch & Bramble Patch stuff (as per usual) but also the indian prints from Cloth Atelier (the second word is pronounced at-tell-ee-ay). The block printing kits were great discovery & I can't wait to see what you & your sis do with them. Also, you spend your hard-earned cash how you wish ma belle & you are extremely productive so it's never wasted. Merci beaucoup for this great video xxxx

Rachel, we also saved $$ the whole year to go to a show. Don't ever apologize for spending your money on what you Love. It is "your business" on what you spend your money on. If we go to a plant shop my Husband says "we came here to buy plants". It is the same for you and fabrics. You saved and went there to buy. I loved that 1st green fabric that you held up. ✌🏻♥️

It was lovely to see you at Alice Caroline on Friday Morning. Your sister was great at getting scraps for you. I was very good on Thursday, I got a couple of smaller kits and some accessories for my machine and didn’t spend much at all and my husband said you’ve come all this way and can’t get any of this stuff at home, buy it. That was a big mistake! He also talked me into getting the 100 block kit and book from Alice Caroline which totally blew the budget. She was lovely and did sign my book and she threw in some free fabric. I think to shut my husband up, he likes to negotiate at these things. Like you I’ve been saving up to go and had a list. The problem was all the things I bought that weren’t on the list! 😂I got some of the Indian blocks and a block printing kit. Did you see the sewing themed blocks? I got some of them and some floral blocks. I think we picked the same paint colours. I also got lots of bag making supplies from purple stitches and I got those magnetic clasps, those little purses with them are too cute. I’m glad I did my priority shopping on Thursday as a lot of shops were sold out of the things I bought when I went back around on the Friday. The highlight of my trip was meeting Jenny Doan, Natalie and Misty. They were so lovely, Jenny was the first quilter I followed on TH-cam. It was definitely a great experience.
Wonderful haul! Good for you. Don’t apologize for your haul. You saved up and as a result you saved in the long run with all your future makes. There are more expensive hobbies than quilting and stitchery believe it or not. So enjoy.

Nice haul. I live in farm country in the midwest of US and I have a large collection of original 1930's Feed sack fabric that I started collecting about 30 years ago. I do use it somewhat, it is surprisingly still sturdy.

I learned long ago not to make excuses for purchasing fabric. Your prices on the items seen so far are reasonable. I moved to Spain with 53 containers of fabric. Quilting here is definitely not done but by few. I bought and traded fro two years before moving and sadly eyesight has changed and am stuck with thousands of different quilt shop fabrics. Southern Spain is more fun in the sun which I am not. Just enjoy your purchase. Your work is beautiful
I only had the Thursday at the show, but still managed to spend a small fortune! Love see what you purchased, and totally agree about buying larger cuts of fabric too!

Don't worry I live in United States and I just went 2 weeks ago on a vacation/sew retreat at Missouri Star for 4 days and also done some serious damage shopping for fabric while I was there your not alone buying fabric love your videos.
I would love to go to Missouri Star. I bought their Rotary Cutter, and it feels so much better than any others I have. It would cost me quite a lot from the UK, so not sure if will happen. 😊
Absolutely loved watching. In America, we have a 5 day expo with classes all day long and hundreds of vendors. It is held at the fairgrounds in Puyallup,, Washington. I used to drive there from my home state of Idaho. It was a full days drive. My daughter who lives in the Seattle area, would accompany me. We would be loaded down with all kinds of goodies. Doesn't matter what you spend, as long as you use it. There. Is a great online quilt store with lots of 30s fabrics in Prosser, Washington. I believe it is called A Quilted Basket. Look it up. 30s fabrics are my favorite, too.
Oh! I have been to that Puyallup show, way back...with some of my quilt group gals... it was great! We are from B.C. Canada, so not too far of a drive, over the border, maybe 2.5 hours? This U.K. show though...wow... wouldn't that be fun...they have a lot of different fabric there, that I have not ever seen here...

Ive been splurging thispast month I love repro prints and I've been lookingat ALL the hauls lately! I stopped quilting after hubs passed and was knitting. Now I'm sorting projects and getting things done! TY for the epp , as I've been working on a Flower Garden top ! One row to attach and then more slow stitching 😂 Its so nice to enjoy the process isn't it ? 🎉❤ Im watching this again as my budget is shot ! 😂

It was I that asked you the name of the Kim McLean Flower Garden Quilt. The pattern is dated 2009. Guess what I found a complete kit with the pattern and all the fabric (13 yards). I only needed to buy background fabric. So thank you for your help. I was so pleased to find it. I think your buys are treasures. And treasures should be enjoyed. Quilt market only comes around once a year. I’m in the USA. I used to be a vendor at the International Quilt Markets. They are some of my best memories. Thank you for sharing your memories with me.

"Atelier" is a French word for studio or workshop, and it's pronounced Uh-telly-yay 😁 Love your purchases! We have to make the most of being able to see (and feel!) fabrics at shows, because there are so few real-life quilt shops around....At least, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!!!
❤❤I think what I love the most is seeing I wasn't alone in my choices and my haul. I already shipped 1 box home to Alaska-at a cost of about 140 pounds. I found myself shopping not only for myself, but for my sewing circle of girl friends. I do love that we both got the block printing kits, so please do a blog so my friend and I can stumble through with you all!!

It was I that asked you the name of the Kim McLean Flower Garden Quilt. The pattern is dated 2009. Guess what I found a complete kit with the pattern and all the fabric (13 yards). I only needed to buy background fabric. So thank you for your help. I was so pleased to find it. I think your buys are treasures. And treasures should be enjoyed. Quilt market only comes around once a year. I’m in the USA. I used to be a vendor at the International Quilt Markets. They are some of my best memories. Thank you for sharing your memories with me.

"Atelier" is a French word for studio or workshop, and it's pronounced Uh-telly-yay 😁 Love your purchases! We have to make the most of being able to see (and feel!) fabrics at shows, because there are so few real-life quilt shops around....At least, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!!!
❤❤I think what I love the most is seeing I wasn't alone in my choices and my haul. I already shipped 1 box home to Alaska-at a cost of about 140 pounds. I found myself shopping not only for myself, but for my sewing circle of girl friends. I do love that we both got the block printing kits, so please do a blog so my friend and I can stumble through with you all!!

Hi Rachel, i went to the Festival of Quilts from Spain last year, i was there 3 days as well and had to book another suitcase into the Hold 😂. Bought enough to last a few years Glad you enjoyed it cant wait to see what you make.
