Rachel, please don’t worry about fabric show and tell ever becoming boring, especially not with liberty prints! If there are people complaining, just tell yourself you are not here for them and move on. I think I’m safe in saying that the majority of us love listening to you and looking at your stash and your projects and your process and everything.!
Yes, yes, yes!!! Am new to your channel but am thoroughly enjoying seeing your haul and the quilt show , as well as your other videos. I can safely say we have the same taste in colors and prints! And I am learning a lot from you too! Thank you for sharing your quilting and craft life with us! ❤🙏
Please don't apologise Rachel, a fabric haul is NEVER boring & I love seeing fabric that I perhaps wouldn't normally be drawn to. Loved the Liberty, Cotton Patch & Bramble Patch stuff (as per usual) but also the indian prints from Cloth Atelier (the second word is pronounced at-tell-ee-ay). The block printing kits were great discovery & I can't wait to see what you & your sis do with them. Also, you spend your hard-earned cash how you wish ma belle & you are extremely productive so it's never wasted. Merci beaucoup for this great video xxxx
You show how much you enjoy this adventure and you carry us along with you. Thank you for that. I caught you a few weeks ago and enjoyed your videos and your trips.
Never forget that fabric gives everyone joy…I can’t get to the festival of quilts in person but your videos and your enthusiasm is so infectious that I feel like I have shared the experience of the quilt festival. Thanks for all the time and effort that goes into sharing your impressive haul on TH-cam.
This video was fantastic. I am glad that you were able to purchase the fabrics you needed and wanted when you can see the colors and get a feel for the fabrics. I could watch haul videos for hours, especially ones like yours!! LOL. I am so looking forward to seeing what projects you make with all of it. I can only imagine how much fun you had at the Festival. I am totally envious 😅
Oh some of the 30's you got!!!!! I collect 30's fabrics too! so much fun watching you open all your goodies!!!! Thanks for sharing the festival with us!!!
Rachel, we also saved $$ the whole year to go to a show. Don't ever apologize for spending your money on what you Love. It is "your business" on what you spend your money on. If we go to a plant shop my Husband says "we came here to buy plants". It is the same for you and fabrics. You saved and went there to buy. I loved that 1st green fabric that you held up. ✌🏻♥️
Thanks for sharing all your purchases. We all want to share our excitement when we get new treasures and no doubt lots of your followers have enjoyed seeing everything like I have 😊
Love your haul! So glad you had a wonderful time at the festival. I think it makes sense to buy things when you see them in person. No guilt allowed! 😍
I'm enjoying your fabric show and tell. It gives me a chance to see new things. I also love working with small pieces. I think they give your project more character. I'm new to your channel and I'm really enjoying what I'm seeing.
You did very well on your purchases. I am not sure I would have been as good as you if I had been there. Please never feel the need to apologize for buying beautiful fabrics because you always do beautiful projects with them.
Rachel I just love you. OMG I just love looking at what you bought (your stash) at the festival of quilts. I'll look forward to watching you and your sister with the Indian printing. I just came across your channel recently. I'm going to a quilt festival in Northern Ireland in November this year and you have just given me great ideas on what to look out for. Thank you Rachel. 🥰
Loved seeing all of your haul! Can’t wait to see the projects you’re going to make from these lovely fabrics. Please do a video of the block printing - I’m so interested in this process. I’m also a big time bag maker so I love seeing your bag projects - I love unique zippers & zipper pulls. Thank you for sharing everything.
Wonderful haul! Good for you. Don’t apologize for your haul. You saved up and as a result you saved in the long run with all your future makes. There are more expensive hobbies than quilting and stitchery believe it or not. So enjoy.
Nice haul. I live in farm country in the midwest of US and I have a large collection of original 1930's Feed sack fabric that I started collecting about 30 years ago. I do use it somewhat, it is surprisingly still sturdy.
Wow I love what you have bought, and especially that you have told us where things came from. I have been rapidly scribbling down suppliers to get things from…thank you!!❤
Well done Rachel. You have lots of loveliness there to be getting on with. Looking forward to seeing them all over the time which lies ahead. I was one of the subscribers who came to chat. It was lovely to meet you and your sister. Happy Sewing. Xxx
This was so fabulous! Loved seeing all of what you bought and the previous videos of the show. we have 2 a year here in Washington state. One is more focused on quilting than the other, but the next is not until November! Lots to make before that to get ready, of course. Thank you for sharing everything.
❤❤I think what I love the most is seeing I wasn't alone in my choices and my haul. I already shipped 1 box home to Alaska-at a cost of about 140 pounds. I found myself shopping not only for myself, but for my sewing circle of girl friends. I do love that we both got the block printing kits, so please do a blog so my friend and I can stumble through with you all!!
Thank you Rachel. I love that you get such joy out of your craft and inspire others, including me, to create more. You can never have enough fabric, especially if you like making scrappy quilts. I think Jen Kingwell says the more fabrics you use the better, then add a few more. Good luck with all your projects. Can’t wait to see what you create.
Just found your video. Loved it. Will be watching much more. Thank you for sharing your fabric haul with all of us. Love your enthusiasm and there is no color like PINK, also my favourite!😊❤
“Like I need more” 😂😂 story of my life 😊 love your taste in fabric I’m a floral freak and am obsessed with pretty fabrics so am excited to check out your gorgeous projects…I’ve only just found your channel have subscribed, loved this video and the way you present I am sure will love the rest of your videos always exciting to find new channels that I know I’ll love❤
Hi Rachel, i went to the Festival of Quilts from Spain last year, i was there 3 days as well and had to book another suitcase into the Hold 😂. Bought enough to last a few years Glad you enjoyed it cant wait to see what you make.
Rachel, I just found you today and am so thrilled I clicked on your TH-cam channel. Thanks for entertaining me as it's difficult for me to get out and about to quilt shows. Your selections were absolutely fabulous. You have really good taste. Thanks again for all your time you took to get this video to us TH-camrs. lj in the USA
So happy you had a wonderful time and just keep being you. I had a wonderful haul recently at the Embroiders Guild destash market and while I was heaving with bags and bags (and a little worried what people would think of such a big haul when I shared the video), I know I will use and am already using my goodies to create beautiful projects. So enjoy! Cheers, Christine 💙🧵🪡
Oh I just stumbled upon your channel! Your video was wonderful and I know I've found a kindred spirit, a sister from another mother. I could look at and touch fabric 24/7 if possible. ❤
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the kislux leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
Rachel I so enjoyed this video. I was there on Thursday but didn't see you i would have said hi. . I love you saw different items to me and you are right there is so much to see one day isn't enough, but my feet said otherwise!. I enjoyed the show and tell its the closest I get to having a crafting buddy, my family are great but there is only so much of "and this is for my next quilt, embroidery etc " they can take! So Thank-you and keep going Diane
I thoroughly enjoyed your haul! I have been excited to see your choices and it’s lots of fun to see you share your excitement😊 I am looking forward to seeing everything you create ❤
There are so many projects upcoming now as I'm determined to use the things I've brought, whereas in previous years, I didn't want to cut into the fabric 🤣
Loved this. Couldn't get to FoQ this year but plan on next year for 'vacation'. The last time I went, I used what looks like a wheeled golf club bag. Some folks use them for groceries as well, but I got mine on Amazon and it lets me "fill 'er up" to the brim every day and then when done for that day, it gets emptied in the hotel room for the next day's purchases. The wheels really save my shoulder and they are quite roomy so lots of space for lots of fabric and quilting supplies. Hope to see you there next year!!
WOW WOW WOW!!!! I love all your stuff! Please do show us a video of you and your sister using those block prints. I love the ones you picked out. So pretty. I love the paints too! I must say that you had a great time at the show and picked up a lot of nice things. Liberty fabric was my favorites. Great video. Now you can complete lots of projects! Thank you for sharing. Oh yea, the cow doll is so adorable. Can’t wait to see it made. Happy Sewing! 💕🧵😍🐮 PS - By Annie zippers are great.
Love that you took us with you to the quilt festival. Your haul is Great. I love the variety of the fabrics and I enjoyed seeing what you bought. Thank You for sharing. 😍🤩
Don't worry I live in United States and I just went 2 weeks ago on a vacation/sew retreat at Missouri Star for 4 days and also done some serious damage shopping for fabric while I was there your not alone buying fabric love your videos.
I would love to go to Missouri Star. I bought their Rotary Cutter, and it feels so much better than any others I have. It would cost me quite a lot from the UK, so not sure if will happen. 😊
Thanks for sharing your shopping haul with us. You are so sweet and I enjoy just listening to someone that loves fabrics and stitching like I do. You’ll have so much joy stitching up projects this next year! 🥰
Oh, Rachel, I don’t know what to comment on first! All your purchases are amazing, and I look forward to seeing how you use them. Thanks to this video and the one from last year, I have decided to go to one of the American Quilter’s Society shows that is closest to me. I’ll be going by bus with members of my quilt guild, so it will be loads of fun. I’ve been to smaller quilt shows sponsored by local guilds where the quilts are amazing, but there aren’t many vendors. I should leave my credit card at home and bring only the cash I am willing to spend….we’ll see!
That sounds like such a fun time! It is good to go with a budget in mind... although I suspect most people go over that slightly but it's hard to resist with so many wonderful vendors in one place
I learned long ago not to make excuses for purchasing fabric. Your prices on the items seen so far are reasonable. I moved to Spain with 53 containers of fabric. Quilting here is definitely not done but by few. I bought and traded fro two years before moving and sadly eyesight has changed and am stuck with thousands of different quilt shop fabrics. Southern Spain is more fun in the sun which I am not. Just enjoy your purchase. Your work is beautiful
I love your enthusiasm. It makes me happy. I'm a beginner at eighty, I did quilt many years ago and am excited to get back at it. So, Hi from south Dakota and thanks for everything.
That video was just delightful! Your enthusiasm and excitement was infectious and just made my day. It has been awhile since I have been to a large quilt show but I am the same, if you can afford it go for it and enjoy all your fun and special purchases.
Rachel thank you for all your beautiful videos from festival of quilts. All you4 purchases are gorgeous, it’s nice just to be able to feel all the lovely fabrics and see the true colours. I always say buying your fabric is a different hobby to sewing your fabric , that’s my excuse for buying anyhow!!😊🪡
Thank you for sharing your shopping bundles. Well done! I also purchased the block painting, look forward to your video. I’m so glad to have met you, a real pleasure. You’re welcome for the little gifts, glad you like them😊
This was SO much fun!! I loved seeing everything! I think you were smart to buy things in person because it is really hard to see true colors online sometimes. I love that 90’s looking duck fabric! And the liberty was all so beautiful. My favorite fabrics were the ones at the end that you’re going to use for the lunch bag. They’re so cute! Thank you so much for showing us everything.
Ive been splurging thispast month I love repro prints and I've been lookingat ALL the hauls lately! I stopped quilting after hubs passed and was knitting. Now I'm sorting projects and getting things done! TY for the epp , as I've been working on a Flower Garden top ! One row to attach and then more slow stitching 😂 Its so nice to enjoy the process isn't it ? 🎉❤ Im watching this again as my budget is shot ! 😂
Love your style, so I loved your haul. This was a really fun video. I especially appreciate your passion for sewing and that you keep your content focused. Thanks! ❤
You did good girl! Love all your purchases and as my husband always says “if it makes you smile then buy it” looking forward to seeing what you make with all your lovely purchases. Xx
Hello Rachel, I stopped you in your tracks [ on Saturday] a few minutes before it closed for the day. It was so lovely to see you. Thank you for spending time to have a chat and a photo. I loved seeing this video with all of you purchases. I must say, I went a bit mad myself as I bought a Horn sewing table as well as some lovely fat quarters, patterns etc. I was trying to be mindful about what I was buying like yourself. Looking forward to seeing your next video. Debbie from Brighton x
I only had the Thursday at the show, but still managed to spend a small fortune! Love see what you purchased, and totally agree about buying larger cuts of fabric too!
Really enjoyed seeing all that you bought. It must be so tempting. I know what I am like when I go into a fabric shop, dread to think what I would spent at Festival of Quilts
Oh, this was so much fun to watch. You certainly didn't hold back, hee hee! 🥰 You did well with your stash and have some beautiful fabric. I was there on the Sunday and was blown away by the standard of the quilts on display and the choice of fabrics and notions for sale. Loved the Liberty stand especially and swooned over the historic Billings Coverlet! I loved seeing your haul and looking forward to watching future videos of your makes.
Oh my goodness... that was so much FUN!! I loved seeing everything you purchased... don't feel guilty, it brought you joy when you bought it and will bring you even more joy when you make something with it! Have a lovely time being creative with all these lovely goodies... and yes you have to buy it when you see it... that KP Kids piece is from at least the 90's maybe even earlier. I have some in my stash and I've been quilting & collecting fabric for almost 40 years... and all my stash brings me joy! Happy sewing!
Rachel, please don’t worry about fabric show and tell ever becoming boring, especially not with liberty prints! If there are people complaining, just tell yourself you are not here for them and move on. Love watching this! The 30’s prints are adorable. 🤩
Love all your purchases at the Festival. Can't wait to see your Mrs Billings Coverlet done in Liberty fabrics.

The printing blocks are beautiful also!
Oh my goodness! I am so happy to hear that Lilyrose will soon offer international shipping!
If you follow me on IG I will post about it on my stories once she starts doing the international 💕
Nice haul. I live in farm country in the midwest of US and I have a large collection of original 1930's Feed sack fabric that I started collecting about 30 years ago. I do use it somewhat, it is surprisingly still sturdy.
The rolled bundle is Amy Butler 😊
I love your fabric. Seems like most will coordinate well. I look forward to see your future quilts. Looks like you do a lot of paper pieceing.

Oh, I made the lunch bag some 5 or 6 years ago and still using it, great project!

I was sewing while watching 😂 but had to stop to look at all the fabrics! WOW!
I only had the Thursday at the show, but still managed to spend a small fortune! Love see what you purchased, and totally agree about buying larger cuts of fabric too!
Fabulous Fabulous, Mrs Billings coverlet ,oh my goodness that is heaven . Cant wait till you get stuck into that.
Really enjoyed seeing all that you bought. It must be so tempting. I know what I am like when I go into a fabric shop, dread to think what I would spent at Festival of Quilts
I'm like a kid in a sweet shop!!
Fabulous haul Rachel, we love to see them. You go for it, life is too short!
Wonderful time watching. Can't wait for the projects 😊😊😊
