Congratulations on being selected to teach and partnering with Missouri Star. You make such beautiful things. The bags are beautiful and I think your double gauze quilt is my favorite thing ever. 🌷
Signed up for that straight away using your link! Thanks for the information, despite being an Alice Caroline customer I knew nothing about the sewing festival. Look forward to seeing you on there 🎉
WOW! Bumper episode! Congratulations on being one of the chosen ones……I absolutely love the bag you have designed. I’m so impressed with your hexagon shaped quilt…..super unique idea. All of your makes are gorgeous and inspiring.
I love the 🍄 🍄🟫 wall hanging. I saw the aurora borealis on Friday night it was fantastic even though there is a lot of light pollution as I live near Edinburgh. The colours were amazing.
Congratulations on beingcselected fitvtge Alice Caroline festival. Looks great. Ill ge using your like to sign up x Great catch up video too. Thank you xx
I am so happy that I was recommended your channel, a month(or 3?) ago! Watching all your videos, feels like sitting with my lovely UK cousin, catching up on all things crafting and having a blast!! I enjoy any and all videos you post! Bc of you, I pulled out a Tula Pink EPP project that's been sitting under a mountain of fabric, and started working on it! It calls for 1000, 1 inch hexagons...but I plan on making it bigger, so, 1500 hexagons are in the works!! 🥰 Congratulations as well!! I love your bag pattern!! 💖💖💖🤗🤗🤗
Your bags are adorable. I really like the TH-cam videos as it’s like a visit with an old friend of many years. I don’t like the shorts. They’re irritating,IMO. Congrats on being selected to teach. I enjoy your teaching skills a lot. Keep up the good work.
The HST's in that one project are tiny! Love how the whole-cloth quilt came out w/ the binding and big stiches. Congrats on your partnership with Missouri Star and your goody box from them!
I’m just starting watching but love the idea of a big show and tell !!!! Can’t wait to get on with watching 🥰 LOVE that liberty strips lamp shade … did you make that too …… gorgeous!!!!! ❤
Always a pleasure to see your creations & how great that you can share your passions with your mum as well as your sister. Well done for being contacted by Missouri Quilt Company (they only contact influencers who they consider to be on the rise). I was able to profit from the - 15% & also got a reduction on the shipping fees (from 50$ from 30$ !!!) which meant that, at last, I could purchase 2 x "Chateau de Chantilly" jelly rolls (French General/Moda). They are either not available here or insanely expensive so merci beaucoup ma belle. 😉 Hugs & kisses
Thanks for a great episode Rachel. I’m so enjoying the temperature quilt sew along so thanks for hosting that. Was thinking of signing up for the Alice Caroline festival and you’ve convinced me 😊. Out of interest do we have to pay import tax or whatever it’s called when we purchase in the UK? I’ve never bought from USA since I assumed it would make it too expensive. I love all your videos and just happy to watch you crafting or shopping 😉😉
Rachel, I do enjoy listening and watching your videos on any topic! This one was jam packed with gorgeous projects! I love the liberty tote-congratulations on being asked to create a tutorial. I’ve been wanting to get back into knitting. Your pattern you chose for your blanket is great. I will check it out on Ravelry. Hope you could see the northern lights.
Hi lovely 🥰 I’m so enjoying your videos and all your gorgeous content 😊did you do a tutorial for the beautiful tote bag? I would love to have a go at making one it’s stunning xxx
I'm so glad you are enjoying the videos ❤️ the bag pattern is part of a sew along festival with 20 other makers. It's an online ticketed event, there's a link in the video which will give more info x
Hello Rachelfrom Missouri USA. Congratulations on your spot with Alice. I so love your channel. I live about an hours drive to MSQC and 45 minutes from Paduca Kentucky. So I am surrounded by quilts. Now, if they would only start carrying Liberty fabric. If you don t mind me asking; what is the name of the background fabric you used in the large handbag? I would love to use that for my Liberty quilt. You do make such beautiful projects. That small red bag is adorable! I'm trying to finish all projects before I start my quilt. Hope you have a great day. Deb
Hi Deb, Thank you for watching. I am so jealous that you live so close to MSQC, how lucky! The background and lining fabric is Liberty Quilting Cotton, "Posie Grace A"
@@stitchwithrachel Isn't life funny; you want to be closer to MSQC and I want to be in the UK so I could shop Liberty fabrics 😄 I have my fingers crossed that I can find Posie Grace A so I can start my Liberty quilt. I watched your video again and most definitely; it will be the perfect background for my pattern. Once again, I really enjoy watching your videos. I am trying to finish all of your past videos. They are very relaxing while I'm EPP or doing some kind of hand stitching. Hope you have a lovely week!
Congratulations on being selected to teach and for being chosen as a partner with Missouri Star. If you ever come to the States to attend a retreat, let me know. I would love to meet up with you.
Congratulations & have just joined up for the sew along 🎉 Love all your videos & your so inspirational ...ive just started to make a epp star quilt & have the materials & templates to make the quilt as you go rectangles quilt that you gave a tutorial over, excited to start that one! Thankyou ❤
I'm also planning on making an Irish Chain quilt using 30's style fabric... I'll be interested in seeing your process if you decide to do a video about it. Love your channel.
Great video today, Rachel. Good luck with the Alice Caroline's Sewing Festival. I purchased her book, Alice's Wonderland Sampler 😢 on your recommendation. It was available on 5/7 in the US. I'm excited to try some of the blocks. Have a wonderful weekend. ❤😊
Rachel I love watching your videos, I am encouraged to continue with my own projects and incorporate some of your ideas. The bags were timely as I have been pondering how to make a bag to take my lunch down to the allotment, it needs to be strong ,washable and not too big! . The foam stabiliser sounds just the solution for strength but I've not heard of it what is it and where do I buy it? Thank you Diane
Yeah, the bags would be perfect for that! And if you add odicoat over the outside, it would be wipe clean as well. If you search for foam stabiliser online, you'll find a few different options.
Hi Rachel, just wondered what model your Husqvarna sewing machine is? Your machine work is always so neat. Love all your work. The big pink quilt looks great with the curved hand stitching, again so neat and he border compliments it well. I have signed up for the sew along, so looking forward to that :)
Good morning, Thank you for a lovely comment. My machine is a Husqvarna Viking Topaz 25. I brought it second on Facebook around 4 years ago and is still working great.
😂 "I need to sew at the rate that I purchase fabric". Totally identify. ❤

Try using a medium weight CUT away stabilizer. You can leave it in your EPP. It washes well.
Can you please talk about your lampshade that is behind you
Hi Louise, I have a full tutorial on my channel on how to DIY this lampshade 💖
