I'm sure they will get a lot of customers now once they watch your vlog .
    Keep it up!

Any foreign vlogger, like Jessica, who appreciates the food in our country needs to be recognized not only because she embraces our culture but also speaks our language. Seldom we see someone like her on social media only makes me a proud Filipino.

As someone who is also born and raised in Poblacion, Do Re Me's Porksilog is also my family's favorite meal there. We eat it usually after attending mass. Thank you for featuring this Jessica. Poblacion is more than just a party location. It also has alot of good family-owned restaurants. 😊

Jessica, it is fine smelling your food. Dnt believe other people saying it isn’t OK. A chef needs to use all his/ her senses in cooking or eating. You are doing great! Sometimes, smelling the food is a way of telling if the food will be good or not. Anyway, LOVE your channel. I just stumble upon you watching kieun Choi. Love her too!!!!!

4:45 i love how Jessica's reaction is synced with the light coming from a vehicle beside or behind them, highlighting her face so much for the Do Re Mi Porksilog. It's very good food, really.

I really love this series as much as like your previous one, the Trabaho series. Hoping you could visit Davao City as well. Thank you for dedication. GOD bless you and take care always.

My heart is so full that you loved the porksilog. I've been a fan for 4 years now, starting when I saw your video with your sister eating Mang Inasal. Loved all your videos!!! Great recommendations. If by happenstance, I find myself in the neighborhood, I'll probably check out 'Do Re Me' first, just because I'm a big fan of tapsilog. And beef tapa soup sounds like a winner. If you thought that was odd, you should try tapa canton and tapalabok (tapa palabok). They're actually pretty tasty.

Maybe you could include the Laloma Lechunan. At the end of the Retire Street Manila,
the street stretch is side to side lechon restaurant where you can the lechons
on bamboo standing display outside the long street line of restaurants.
They are lechoneros association of the Philippines. They are better than
the CEBU lechon. And also they have one area where cook grilling the lechon
    still on the bamboo.

Hi Jessica! I'm curious.. Have you tried Maranao food? From what I know, you can find them at "Quiapo Muslim Town" or maybe Taguig?
    My favorites are:
    1. "Budi" (fish eggs)
    2. "Kinilaw" (white, vinegar, quite spicy, made with raw cubed fish)
    3. Meshwe Lebanese Restaurant's shawarmaaaaaaaaa in QC yummm!!! (it's not in Quiapo nor is it a Maranao food lol but it's def the best shawarma I've tasted in the PH)
    4. "Beef Randang" (I like it when the beef is soft)
    5. "Pater" (also called "Pastil/Pastel", kinda like Onigiri with it's triangular shape and the seasoned shredded chicken ulam just on top lol)
    6. "Palapa" (a staple that can add kick to your dish, kind of like a Filipino Muslim kimchi haha)
So far that's all I have tried hehe. Sorry I don't have a restaurant in mind to recommend for the Maranao food 😭

actually Filipinos are not really scared of being interviewed, but most are just unsure of speaking in english... not that we don't know the language but mainly because we're paranoid if we don't speak it well... coz' it's suppose to be our second language and it's part of our education system which starts in elementary...

Your seryes are really superb Jess and you are one of the best content creators here in the Philippines.. ohh by the way I guess to be able to interview people easily, you might want to change your approach instead of asking for an interview, I think it's much better if you change the "Can you have a minute for an interview" to "Pwede pong magtanong?" I guess Filipinos are more comfortable in that kind of approach.. 😊💗

This girl knows more about the Philippines than I do, and I’m a Filipino American who lived there from ages 9-15. I wonder how good she is at singing karaoke.

Allergic to peanuts so ordered a salad with peanuts, a noodle dish with crushed peanuts and finishing off with grilled chicken with a peanut sauce. :D Did you end up in hospital?

It still suprises me when people call Poblacion as "Pobla" to go for drinks. It's the hometown I come back to for prusisyons and other religious gatherings. Hahaha. All the night life was in Burgos back then. But not the kid-friendly kind. 😂

Yea, you should compliment the people that gave you your choice for your paborito and I agree with the previous comment "by not asking" people if ok to be interviewed. I know you just want to be polite, but you can edit your video for those who are shy... you're too formal. Do the burgis way... lol
