    Fun fact: Pasig became the provincial capital of Rizal when the then Politico Districto Militar de Morong was renamed Rizal Province in 1901. In 1975, Pasig became part of Metro Manila, but Pasig remained the official or de jure capital of Rizal. Hence the term "kapitolyo".
    In 2020, Antipolo officially became the provincial capital of Rizal when a bill was signed by PRRD into law. This is now known as Republic Act No. 11475

    • @romanracela
      @romanracela 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Quesadilla is not like a rolled pizza. It's a tortilla reheated on a pan or grill, stuffed with cheese and meats (and veggies if you like), and then folded in half. You can cut the quesadilla in slices or just eat them whole. No self-respecting Mexican will serve a rolled up quesadilla. LOL

    Three Sisters is actually Kapitolyo’s OG restaurant, when Kapitolyo didn’t become a food capital yet and we had only that as restaurant in East Capitol Drive. People from other cities would go to Kapitolyo to eat there because the food Is good, and their restaurant used to be big. Unfortunately, when the owner died, her family didn’t get along well on how to run it and abandoned their original location, had troubles, then reopened with that small one. - from a Kapitolyo local of 35 years

    As a local, I and even most folks I knew never ate that kind of pancit with rice. It has always been eaten pancit alone. The first time I saw your blog more than 2 years ago in which I found amused and subscribed, you're not that fluent with Filipino accent, now I can hear a Filipino in you. You're so good, Jessica.

    Hi Jessica! Please update the ratings for the foods from being Good or Okay to 1-5 or 1-10 stars rating to get a better idea on how much you liked it before ranking the foods so we can get a significant idea of the differences of how good the food are.
    Though. Please make sure the rating is 1-10 and not 5-10 just to be nice. The honest feedback of 5 being the middle/okay/meh.
    Also. When going up to people for an interview, introduce your self first because if they don't know you, they'll be suspicious with the interview... Say something like "Hi, I'm Jessica a TH-camr doing food reviews, May I ask if it's okay for a quick 1-2 minute interview of your local food preferences?" (Just so they don't doubt and be more cooperative).
    :)

    I think if Jessica consistently upload this type of content on her channel in 2023 her skills in filipino language will improve so much since she is talking to locals most of the time on this type of video.
