These are addressable RGB cables. If your motherboard has a 5v aRGB header you could do it that way or use the included controller if you prefer that way instead.

Thanks for watching! The 24 pin and 8 pin are each sold separately. The 8 pin cables comes with 2 8 pin cables for the graphics card.

well why wouldn't you assemble it here and now to show everyone exactly how it assembles? because that's what I want to see. exactly how it goes together. I'm very interested in buying these but the only thing stopping me is, how does it go over the plug and mount down on it ? also where does the end that plugs into the 24 pin power wire go? just behind the case? in the back through one of them holes they put in the case to run wires through? theres so many questions. I mean I have built hundreds of pc's and everyone who builds them know cable management is the worse part of building a machine today. with todays technology you might think they would have compartments in these cases just to hold wires or streams to hold wires in channels to make things that much more manageable. anyways. I think you should have assembled them and installed them in the machine from start to finish to show everyone how or the best way to install this thing.

My apologies. I should let you know that a second generation of these was just recently released and fixed a lot of issues many of the mainstream reviewers had with these. Essentially it’s just a cable extension for your 24pin and gpu power connectors with light tubes attached to the top. There is a plastic track with combs that the tubes are pushed into. One end goes into your motherboard and gpu, and the other end goes into your 24pin power cable and gpu power cables. RGB is controlled via an included controller or a 3 pin argb connector on your motherboard. Hope this helps! If you are interested in the second version, a quick TH-cam search has lots of reviews on those as well. Thanks for watching!

sir, i have a question... can you bend the cable about less than 5cm.. cause i have a very narrow pc build, thx for the response..

oh yeah it is for the 24 pin

Yea I don’t see why not but it would be very tight. It shouldn’t damage it or anything but it might look...odd bent that tightly. So keep in mind that the tighter the bend the more the loop will stick out so make sure clearance is good there too. Thanks for watching!

I know this video is old but i just purchased these off amazon. What adapter will i need to use my mobo for the lighting instead of the controller?

Thanks for watching! You need a motherboard with an argb 3 pin control. The adapter for the connector on the Strimer to a motherboard 3 pin should be included in the 24 pin strimer box from what I found online. (It’s been awhile and I don’t use my motherboard so I don’t quite remember myself. There were some other videos on TH-cam I found that mention that they come with the motherboard adapter if that’s the route you wanted to go. I still have my strimers and they still look great. Best of luck to you!
