Well, your like 99% right, depending on the sub you watched when this was originally fan subbed and released, Haki was also translated as 'Ambition'. I think that's as much as they need to know, they can infer the rest from that word alone.
Haki, don’t look it up! One Piece will give you all the answers in time. You have already encountered haki multiple times but by now you know how Oda writes his story. Just be patient and everything will become clear! Can’t wait for marineford!

haki is not a one piece only thing. in japanese haki literally means ambition or aspiration. its not a one piece word.
so when this was first mentioned, people weren't confused because it actually makes sense.
but oda expanded on that and made it a power system.

@@thenmresquad7507 Oda is bad post ts, but that one is on toei...they add so much unnecessary scenes for Sanji, it's ridiculous. They have been doing it since pre ts, but since the anime pacing got so bad in post ts, it got worse, they add or extend perv scenes for him all the time.

I don't even care that much about the barking, though it's dumb, but why the hell did they make up a scene of him trying to go into the changing room with the girls?? And let's not talk about that crazy long nosebleed scene in WCI. Manga wise his gag was toned down again at a point but you wouldn't know by just watching the anime.

absolutely love the way the live adaptation pulled newcomers like the D. Van Clan to the anime, it was meant for people like you guys!! One of Oda's last attempts to hook newcomers before the anime comes to a close (i hope it will never end btw)

The navy being on high alert just shows you how much of a big deal the Emperor’s are. Each of them can challenge the world government. They are the top of the food chain in One Piece.
I already feel bad for Sanji and Chopper knowing what their bounties will look like lmao also i can't at how Luffy just gave 100 million berries to randoms without a second thought to organize a party after all they went through after they got robbed😂

Real important infos was in this second episode, the sequence between these 2 Yonko (Emperors) is really important to link many things. For example, the Haki , you just gonna learn the name and a little bit how it works. You can make the link when Shanks look seriously the Sea Monster when he wanted to save Luffy. You gonna learn more later. It's some kind a "Aura" (here in this episode) that is so strong than if you're not strong mentally, you pass out.

Also, Iceberg isn’t designing their ship he’s designing all of Water 7. When Aqua Laguna was explained they mention that it’s also causing the entire island to slowly sink. So he’s trying to stop that by finding a way to make the island float.
