I find it difficult to understand English when Americans speak with their own accent, but when a foreigner speaks, it becomes easier to understand. For example, when Salma Hayek speaks, I understand her well))
So many people love One Piece for the fights and power ups, I just love this show because of moments like these where the story is just amazing and touches you in the feels.
I love One Piece for the same reasons as you. Fights are good and all, sure, but they are not the reason I love One Piece. The hearth of this story, that's why I love it.
Same here. It's so good, they could have used any number of words to try and convince her but instead they chose the action of burning the flag. It's such a powerful moment.
Robin's voice cracking and echoing gets me every time. It just feels so raw and from the soul. It's one of those moments One Piece fans go back to, like the "Luffy, help me" and ringing the golden bell in Skypeia that evoke all of these emotions at once. There are going to be more along the journey but Oda just knows how to set up and create those moments. There's one moment much later on where I saw reactor say "this is how many episodes and years into this? And he still creates these powerful moments that hit like this." It's why One Piece is so big and only continues to get bigger.
I Want To Live is always the moment where most people cry, the investment and time spent for the last 100 Episodes builds up to greatness. Great Reaction please continue to bring tissues, it will not get sweet hahah.
I'm 43y old, read the manga since 1997 and watch the Anime since 1999, never disapointed by this Manga. Thanks Oda seinsei ! This kind of scenes in the Manga were so good.
Here we are over 1100 chapters in and “I want to live” is still one of the greatest moments in this series no matter how many times I’ve read/watched it.
Kid Robin is just pure pain. Her VA did such a wonderful job. Capture her cuteness, her maturity, her sadness, her happiness, so perfectly. In the span of a few episodes too. Absolutely blew my mind.
Ever since you started with the live action and then decided to do the anime I looked forward to you eventually watching episodes like this where you would see how good OP really is. At the start most of us thought one piece might be childish or merely episodic and it’s hard to imagine how deep and emotional the show might be when starting off with small fry villains like ax hand Morgan and buggy. So fans like me were thrilled you loved OPLA and the early arcs of OP knowing you were far from its peak. Now you are getting a taste of why so many of us fans call this the #1 anime or show period and there still much more to come! Love your reactions as always! ❤
Also, very nice job by Toei here. There was no need for a "to be continued". Robin just told you, the audience, that she will continue. Simply beautiful.
I'm glad you guys got to see this! Robin declaring she wants to live is one of the absolute most heart-wrenching, emotional best scenes from One Piece hands down.
Love all of the content, One Piece is still great at episodes 277 and 278! What a masterpiece! Great reaction as always, Jason and Heather - love the genuine excitement in your faces. ❤
i dont know if anyone told you yet but the voice actress for little robin was actually a real child VA! They casted her to play robin and she nailed every line 😭
Damn... This Flashback allways makes me drop a tear, no matter how many times I see it I swear to god. Also the music they used during those moments its great.
One of the most painful chapters ❤️🩹☺️ it felt so good I remember it like was yesterday ,cry is too well everyone does when we're watching One piece 🥹 that's why my favorite ❤ I Love it so much since m 14
bahhh i woke up and was happy to watch, then realized i had to wait, and now i get back from work and i still have to wait lol still not as bad as waiting every week for the new episodes but close lol x)
As a teenager watching it, One Piece taught us "only help a girl when she says help me" (Nami's arc) and to fight the world for a woman even if she is lying she does not want it lol. I swear every One Piece fan has good families now because of One Piece including mine.
I feel closer to a lot of the One Piece reaction community than I do to my own friends and family. Its odd since we never met, but we've shared so many laughs, cries, and triumphs
Yes, it's called "kinchou" and it's essentially a samurai vow. The 10th Crayon Shin-chan movie actually explains how it's performed as well as its significance in more detail if you are more curious. Good luck finding it.
Kid me would not have been as emotional seeing this scene as adult me. Unless I was physically in pain kid me was a boss. Now I can cry from a commercial😅 I’ve went back to previous episodes of One Piece and cried on stuff I didn’t cry on the first time around 😂
Im caught up with One Piece in the manga. I always forget how sad this anime really is because it's been so long since I've seen these scenes. This is by far my favorite anime.
The moment Zoro understands Robin's motivation for her actions and they really meant, his respect for her skyrockets and the movement he makes of unsheathing and sheathing his sword is called Kincho and it's a traditional samurai's way of making an oath. So he's kinda pledging his life to her. Zoro's relationships with other crew members are always kind of in the background, but there are small details that make you see how he cares in a special way for Robin and Chopper, besides Luffy ofc
I swear watching One Piece and connecting how it relates to real world make one a better person. At the very least a more aware one. The best thing about Oda is he shows but does not preach
Whether it is Nami, Chopper, Vivi, Robin or which heartbreaking moment that is still to come, One Piece just gets under your skin. Such a silly show shouldn't have such deep feelings, and yet it does. I hope you'll enjoy the remainder of this arc: some immensely cathartic highs are still part of the roller coasting to come!
our favourite one piece reaction channel in our favourite one piece moment❤😊

Well said
I am Japanese.
I am learning English through your videos.
Thank you for your continued support.
Welcome welcome! Yoroshiku onegaishimasu

I've been learning reading Japanese for 2 years
I find it difficult to understand English when Americans speak with their own accent, but when a foreigner speaks, it becomes easier to understand. For example, when Salma Hayek speaks, I understand her well))
That's badass! 😊
Congrats on reaching "The Moment" y'all. That moment when you realize One Piece is something truly special.
it was the walk to arlong park for me.
@@defnotagavfor a lot of us that’s facts
So many people love One Piece for the fights and power ups, I just love this show because of moments like these where the story is just amazing and touches you in the feels.
Fights are just bonus to insane story telling and world building.
I love One Piece for the same reasons as you. Fights are good and all, sure, but they are not the reason I love One Piece. The hearth of this story, that's why I love it.
Strawhats declaring war against the World for Robin is what made me realize One Piece was my fav piece of media ever
Same here. It's so good, they could have used any number of words to try and convince her but instead they chose the action of burning the flag. It's such a powerful moment.
The world government is after you? Well now they are after us too. We do this together.
EPIC
No one can see this episode without tears. From 2006 to today. Always in tears
Iv seen this scene countless times over the yrs and fuk if I still cry every damn time😂😂😂
Been counting down the episodes for this one. My personal favorite One Piece moment!
Same
I WANT TO LIVE!!! Take me out to sea with you!!! One of the best scenes!
And one of the best VA peformances
For me its the best scene in all of anime and manga and I have watched anime for 3 decades now.
Robin's voice cracking and echoing gets me every time. It just feels so raw and from the soul. Robin's backstory is not just an incredibly emotional moment, but also it means a lot for the lore of the series.
That episode always gets me. Always crying, everytime
My eyes are watery again and I’ve watch countless reactions and it’s still hits me! 😢😢
Every time, yep!
Same
Same
Every time
same
one of many things in One Piece i love is that, OnePiece never glorify death, it always tells you to live, to strive ......
I WANT TO LIVE
I Want To Live is always the moment where most people cry, the investment and time spent for the last 100 Episodes builds up to greatness. Great Reaction please continue to bring tissues, it will not get sweet hahah.

Theres such a childlike quality to "take me out to sea with you" that you know it came from the scared little girl inside her. Truly wonderful writing
Here we are over 1100 chapters in and “I want to live” is still one of the greatest moments in this series no matter how many times I’ve read/watched it.
Ahhhhh ONE PIECE it's so incredible! I watch these episodes over and over again and I keep crying lol
It's amazing when robin had a flashback while escaping O'Hara she only remembered the few good memories she had.
Kid Robin is just pure pain. Her VA did such a wonderful job. Capture her cuteness, her maturity, her sadness, her happiness, so perfectly. In the span of a few episodes too. Absolutely blew my mind.
His strugle when he realizes what they want her to say.😂😂😂 Love it
Bruh... i just realised that Sakazuki was also part of Buster call.... everytime i rewatch one piece i get new info lol ❤😂
Yeah, he's the one that had the ship destroyed
Same, like how did I miss such an important fact
@@plantitasp I think we all miss it the first time, because he doesn't feel relevant at that point
@@plantitasp I think most anime watchers missed it. But in the manga it was very clearly stated that he would become future admiral akainu.
I just realized it too. Ohhh I hate him so much 😤

An eight-year old first met her mother and lost her in the same day, the only survivor from a complete annihilation. And now she wants to live...
I’ve seen this a multiple times and I still get teary eyed. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I’m with you guys.
Love all of the content, One Piece is still great at episodes 277 and 278! What a masterpiece!

"Ohara has....come to know too much"
🥺all those people
AHH i've been waiting for this one!!!
Damn... This Flashback allways makes me drop a tear, no matter how many times I see it I swear to god. Also the music they used during those moments its great.
You must live, Robin, for your friends, for Saul, for your mother, for the will of Ohara
franky is the most emotional mugiwara crew ever. the most. and then chopper 2nd
This is so beautiful, no matter how many times I watch this scene I cant help crying
I dont remember when I watched this episode the first time. But remember it until now. Its been such a long time.
One Piece is just on another level...Ill always say it till the day I die...Peak Story Telling.
this has become one of my favourite reaction channel!
I'm waiting for this oneeee this arc holds a special place in my heart and robin is such a strong character.
And this is why Robin is my fav. Magic. Just freakin magic
One of the best moments of One Piece. I want to live!
They are learning Japanese that's how much they love one piece.
ngl didnt think you ll come this far in the anime and i have a feeling you gona make it all the way to the peak. Loving your react content
There in it to win it lol
To me, this isn't even the saddest back story. Which is kind if crazy.
A lot of One Piece hits harder now that I'm an adult. Many tears left to come.
I wouldn't worry about crying because of this anime. I mean, we are all Franky when he started crying.
This scene is up there with Nami's "Help Me", and Usopp and Luffy's fallout. This is the genius of Oda's writing.
😭 I cry every single time. Best backstory hands down.
the "i want to live" and "take me to sea with you" always hits me in the feels
dunno why i do this to myself, crying again for the like 11th time at this scene "I want to live" it just.. hits...
One of the most painful chapters ❤️🩹☺️ it felt so good I remember it like was yesterday ,cry is too well everyone does when we're watching One piece 🥹 that's why my favorite ❤ I Love it so much since m 14
Reminds me of “The Library of Alexandria” the library that had all knowledge of the ancient world.
"Justice changes its form, depending on the position you're in" - Aokiji
オリビアだけでなく、その娘であるロビンも救ってくれた真っ直ぐで心の優しいサウロに敬意と愛を贈ります🌞🕊️🙏✨💗

🫶🫶🥰🥰
been waiting ages for this.. cant wait for you to watch more episodes..
definately top 5 best moments of one piece
As a teenager watching it, One Piece taught us "only help a girl when she says help me" (Nami's arc) and to fight the world for a woman even if she is lying she does not want it lol. I swear every One Piece fan has good families now because of One Piece including mine.
Mine is a found family but yes I agree 100% DeVan Clan
THE BEST STORY EVER WRITTEN AND WHAT YOU'RE MISSING GUYS THIS MOMENT IS LITTLE WITH WHAT AHEADS FOR YOU ❤
"Help Me" was what made me a fan, "I want to live" is what made me fall in love with this story, AND Robin! Can you believe it gets better?!
robin saying "i want to live" always gets me
A chopper hat ????
Helll yesssss!!!!! Let’s gooooo
robin voice acctres absolutli nailed this scean
Love your reactions guys!! Saludos desde México 🎉
🤗🤗❤️❤️
I feel closer to a lot of the One Piece reaction community than I do to my own friends and family. Its odd since we never met, but we've shared so many laughs, cries, and triumphs
Such a great reaction to the I want to love moment
this is why i love one piece since 2005 not because the fight scenes as I'm too old for that but its storytelling is a world class!
joyboy is such a legend , fighting aganist 20 countries with single handedly
This is just the beginning of one piece
That 'live Robin!' from Olivia gets me everytime. On another note keep in mind the name Vice Admiral Sakasuki for later
278 one of my top 10 episodes makes me ball out crying every time
top 5 episode of all time for sure
36:13 Does anyone know if there was any historically symbolic meaning to what Zoro just did with his katana there? Just curious.
Yes, it's called "kinchou" and it's essentially a samurai vow. The 10th Crayon Shin-chan movie actually explains how it's performed as well as its significance in more detail if you are more curious. Good luck finding it.
32:18 that Hits me everytime. Eventually you feel like iam a burden😭and then and then...
Battle in the World Stage begins !❤❤❤❤❤
Nice reaction!! Love you guys!
34:40 - This "Oh Gosh" means - "Shes going to say i want to live and ill lose it all"
Sengoku..you Green Fresh Rookie Admiral..
Now he is the Fleet Admiral.
at the first time i see that episode, all i want is die fast, so that what robin say is really hit me and made me cry
(me acting like i havent seen this scene 90+ times) *sobs
To be fair the choice to blow up the evacuation ship was one "Sakazuki" made on his own and not an order given by higher ups.
Saul's laugh is so extra ridiculous even among other one piece laughs but I think that's what it made so much more impactful
Kid me would not have been as emotional seeing this scene as adult me. Unless I was physically in pain kid me was a boss. Now I can cry from a commercial😅 I’ve went back to previous episodes of One Piece and cried on stuff I didn’t cry on the first time around 😂
Since u all started I have been waiting for this moment for u both. Then what comes after I lm also waiting for.
Absolute Cinema! 🙌
23:20 : This moment is really interesting about Kuzan be surprise and degusting by the attack of the other Vice Admiral Akainu.
Im caught up with One Piece in the manga. I always forget how sad this anime really is because it's been so long since I've seen these scenes. This is by far my favorite anime.
Hearing Clover talk to the Elders is so relevant to the latest chapter, it's wild
As long as the only person remains, the will of Ohara lives on
This is an one way hereafter No back from this one piece world ❤😂😅
Yeah "BRING IT ON!" °D°
Everyone was waiting for this one
Damn. They went all out tiannmen square on those college kids.
you have survived phase one of becoming a one piece fan. This is one of the rougher episodes.
One Word to describe these Episodes...PAIN 🥺
I'm just bawling the whole time
The moment Zoro understands Robin's motivation for her actions and they really meant, his respect for her skyrockets and the movement he makes of unsheathing and sheathing his sword is called Kincho and it's a traditional samurai's way of making an oath. So he's kinda pledging his life to her. Zoro's relationships with other crew members are always kind of in the background, but there are small details that make you see how he cares in a special way for Robin and Chopper, besides Luffy ofc
Having your own kids makes the Olivia and Robin stuff so heavy😭
I swear watching One Piece and connecting how it relates to real world make one a better person. At the very least a more aware one. The best thing about Oda is he shows but does not preach
Very well said! We agree!💯💯☺️☺️
24:57 remember this aokiji kuzan power "ice time"
“People believed an 8 year old child could do that?!”
I think we all did after she obliterated Ingram and Pell.
