Thank you! I do love the floor colors in this house! 🤩🤩 They originally had planned to put black cabinets & switched it to white, I was so excited because I would have hated black cabinets!

Congratulations and best wishes for your dear family. Smaller closets could be a blessing-it’s a great time to downsize! Also, you would have less laundry to fold.
Thank you! :) That’s very true! I probably only have like 6 outfits I actually wear in my closet 🤣 My husbands not much on board with downsizing the kids clothes, he always thinks they need more then I keep for them haha! They don’t wear half of what’s in their closets though!

I have 100 questions! First of all congratulations I love the house! My house is about the same size here in Arizona 😊 (1900 square feet) we just went to the design center this week and we will “break ground” in August…how long did it take you to build the house? Also how tall are the cabinets? We did the middle package where they are 42 inches I believe. I am praying the interest rate drops to 5% because right now it’s at 6.2% 😢 but then again our house won’t be ready tell about April and anything can happen 😢
Our house was just a cookie cutter house without any options to change things, so it was built in about 4 months. They had just some dirt work there when we signed week before thanksgiving & we moved in the last week of March. Typically these houses do have options to upgrade, but this neighborhood just came “as is” I think they added things that are normally “upgrades” into the package to try to help sell them - with all the higher prices & interest rates! So I’m not sure about the cabinet sizes, but it was just whatever was standard in this grade of Dr Horton homes
