We analyzed the inflammation and changes in the aorta by H&E staining. SOD, MDA, and GPx levels were determined as per the instructions of the kit protocols. ELISA was used to measure the levels of interleukins, whereas immunohistochemistry was carried out for the evaluation of MCP-1 expression. SRP treatment significantly suppressed vascular inflammation in BALB/c mice. Mechanistic studies demonstrated that SRP significantly inhibited the LPS-induced production of proinflammatory cytokines such as IL-2, IL-1, IL-6, and TNF-α in aortic tissue. Furthermore, it also inhibited LPS-induced oxidative stress in the aortas of mice, whereas the expression and activity of monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) decreased after SRP treatment. In conclusion, SRP has the ability to reduce LPS-induced vascular inflammation and damage by modulating MCP-1. Keywords: serratiopeptidase, vascular inflammation, lipopolysaccharides, monocyte chemoattractant protein-1, oxidative stress, vascular smooth muscle cells
I've been taking a high dose serrapeptase for years, mainly for arthritis and found that it helps with the inflammation. The only side effect was that it does thin the blood, but maybe thats a good thing with so many cases of serious blood clots of late. Maybe I will just reduce the dose.
@EviePharmacist I started taking it 10 years ago. I started with 80,000 iu x 3 daily. I've been taking 1 million iu per day more recent but I'm going to reduce it to 25,000 iu per day.
I've taken Serrapeptase in the past for inflammation in my knees.. I am 54 years old & I have old man knees.. But, I've recently heard that Nicotine patches might work for my knees as well.. What are your thoughts about nicotine patches for arthritis?
Hi Joe, that sounds terrible! There seems to be a lot of people on the internet saying that proteolytic enzymes can break up established scar tissue but unfortunately there just isn’t any good clinical evidence to back this up.
@@EviePharmacist Do you believe there is good clinical evidence to show that the Covid vaccine is safe and effective? Just wanting to know what you think accounts for good clinical evidence.
You’d be surprised at how many medications can cause the side effects that they are supposed to heal! Eg. Paracetamol (acetaminophen) can cause headaches
Many medications have the same possible side effects as the benefits. Eg. Antidepressants can cause depression, meds for dizziness can cause dizziness. And taking medications/supplements is always about weighing up the risk vs benefit. Serrapeptase side effects are rare so in most cases would benefit

Massive thanks for putting this on my radar - very intriguing !
No probs! It certainly has some interesting benefits
It’s criminal that you didn’t mention the one thing this stuff is really useful for getting rid of scar tissue!
Have you found it to be effective for scar tissue? I see a bit of anecdotal evidence around in this area
@@EviePharmacist yes 1000% watched scar tissue disappear took a decent amount of time of consistent daily use though
@@ncik33195were you just taking it internally? That is great it is working for you!
@@ncik33195 What is a decent amount of time? Weeks, months or ?
My dog tore her ACL and I got her on it right away and scar tissue never formed! She HEALED! ppl doing believe me!
Never needed it thankfully. But good info Evie. At least your videos are picked up by the algorithm, it was on my recommended
Glad it’s at least showing up! 😀
Great video, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching 😃

That’s great to hear it works for inflammation 😃 Can I ask what dose you take and how long it took for you to notice it working?

@@Jomin6368 that is a crazy crash decrease ... I'm curious why so drastic? Won't that shock the system?
Just what I need, blood thinning and thats not even how I found this. Awesome!
Thanks for the info!!!

The benefits of nicotine in areas of pain and inflammation are certainly promising but there definitely needs to be more clinical trials!
@@EviePharmacist fair answer, I will try them for a few weeks & if they work; wonderful.. And if not.. lol..
Thankyou Evie. I have a scar that is pressing on nerves and very painful. Can proteolytic enzymes break up established scar tissue?

Is taking it once per day better than splitting the dose and take AM/PM?
Splitting the doses to three times a day if possible
How is the side effects the same things that it’s supposed to heal

@@EviePharmacistis this okay to take for patients who are taking heart related medications for blood pressure
@seanjohn4896 in general it should be ok unless the meds affect blood clotting

Potentially but definitely a lack of studies in this area

Why I have may menstruation take long and it's bleed like hell is it the side of the said medecine
@mikavlog8037 yes it definitely can be a side effect as serrapeptase breaks down fibrin and affects bleeding
