Hello! Thank you for this! About 1 year ago, exactly, I bought the Tiger bloom based on this video. :) My pineapple plant is bigger than any plant I have seen online. It's so crazy. Some of the leaves are around 5 feet long. The only thing is, the center stalk is closing up somehow...like the leaves are close together, and a pineapple hasn't bloomed yet. It has been in soil for 17 months. The center stalk is leaning to the right, strangely. I found online it could be crookneck, but I don't believe that is the case because none of the leaves are brown or strange looking. I stopped fertlizing it 6-7 months ago because hard clogs of smelly yellow-whitish chunks were showing up in the top soil. Maybe I was fertilizing it too much? I was fertilizing once every other watering (once every 7-10 days). Was that too much? Well, I started fertilizing it again 2 weeks ago (only two feeds so far...and of course I go by what is on the bottle). Any suggestions? Am I in good shape? Also, everyone online seems to suggest a 10-10-10. This is a 2-8-4. Is that ok?
Just get banana pilings soak them in a jar with water with the lid close tight for day then pour some liquid in center of pineapple tree in the hole then you see a difference in a week to two weeks.bloom will start showing
