    I would 100% buy an awd hybrid version of this.

      Unfortunately, this vehicle is on a fwd platform. No AWD at least for this generation.

    The fuel economy gauge only being 1mpg optimistic is actually quite good. They can be a lot more inaccurate than that. 33.6 MPG is quite good for mixed driving in a CUV.

    Respectfully, the city driving & stop & go traffic look very light compared to something I would experience in Los Angeles
    Testing was also done in a relatively flat area which doesn't strain the engine much. A longer distance may also yield more accurate numbers. That said, thank you for running this test as I am sure it is quite accurate nonetheless.

    If you told me even five years ago a Buick would be the most popular vehicle in GM's lineup for those 18-35, I wouldn't believe you.

    The 3 cylinder is a deal breaker for me...quite impressed with everything else. Remember, when all the bells and whistles are added the price is a whole other category.
    About $38k when all said and done!

    Will you guys be regularly doing mpg tests on all your vehicles tested now? Daily Motor is the only other channel I know of that does an mpg test on all the vehicles they review. Their test is a bit different though so it would be great to compare theirs with yours.

    Do you check with maps to see how far you traveled? Cars can often be a mile or half off.

    That’s a nice looking vehicle but in my opinion it has 2 issues. First is the inability to get 4 wheel drive like it’s Chevy twin and the next concern for me is the longevity of the turbo charged 3 cylinder. If you don’t care about it having 2 wheel drive then I would lease it then dump it in 3 years that way the engine concern won’t be an issue. If your purchasing the car as a keeper I’m not totally confident it will see 100k miles, Chevy is already having issues with their 3 cylinder, great review guys.

    • @allanpontiere6177
      @allanpontiere6177 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      let me say also a great review!! Love the look of this car but I have to agree….the awd is not the biggest concern for me. It is that teenie weenie engine. It is a wait and see thing for me. I will be interested in seeing a long term review when that engine has 60-80 thousand miles on it….especially using an old fashion timing belt?!? I definitely would not buy one used. If you plan on leasing or just keeping it up to around 100,000 miles, its life will probably be over by then. It’s like GM is building this car and the Trax not to last long. Time will tell but I do like the car !!!! Lastly when the price is 29 or 30 grand….buy a honda, Toyota, or Mazda !!!

    • @gregkramer5588
      @gregkramer5588 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The Trax is the Chevy version and it is 2wd only also. You might be thinking of the Trailblazer. 100k miles will be easy in this I think.
