Great video Chrissy, This is Robert Elizalde. I enjoyed your reception. I totally agree with you on truly being CONNECTED which is CONNECTEDNESS. I like to think that being in love as, there is no you or me in the relationship only WE, US and OURS. According to the bible there is no longer TWO but ONE. I am back in the states now but I am planning to go back there next year and live. I hope I can find a true Filipina relationship as well as you and Rob are.
I liked this, subscribed a year ago and of course I hit the bell. Thanks to video's like yours I realized that perhaps looking for a wife in the Philippines might NOT be the best idea, so I signed on to a dating site where I met my pinay wife. She is above the age of 30 [ a woman!], belongs to the same religion as I do AND she was getting ready to go work in Hong Kong. Yes, this gal was about to become a traveler to foreign lands. Color me impressed! Last May I flew to Hong Kong and after several dates I married her. OMGosh! She is perfect from my point of view. I am too old to marry a child bride, but marrying a beautiful competent woman was definitely my preferred choice. I tried to live stream our wedding and reception. WHAT A DISASTER! I later edited and posted a much better video on TH-cam. Today we are fighting to get her a VISA to visit her new home in the USA. I am tempted to visit the Philippines just to be with her while we wait. She really wants to live in the US though. Smart gal! Great video. Congrats on your marriage. Live long and prosper. ⭐🖖🌟🖖⭐
I have to say, you are beautiful and confident, you’re also very clear and concise…. you have hit every nail on the head concerning any and all sincere loving relationships , God Bless you and your husband Rob always !!💗💗
Chrissy, thank you for your insights! Course, there are no guarantees of anything and you have to do your best to navigate with your eyes open and seek balance in all things.
Your communication skills and heart are true and refreshing. I wish everyone was like you. We all are trying our best to find someone like you. The treasure that money can’t buy. Thank you for your thoughts and words, it gives us hope. Keep living your life to be the best for each other. God bless! Be happy in your life and relationship. ❤🕊️
Well said, Chrissie. I'm happy for you and Rob. My difficulty is that though I'm financially comfortable, I can only spend a month in the P.I. and I could not support a wife and kid(s) here in the states. I like my life and house here, so I wouldn't want to move to the P.I. Moving a single pinay here is especially risky due to her temptations here. So it's what we call a Catch-22, a problem for which the answer brings up a more serious problem.
@@FlyMeToThePhilippines Thanks. It would be lots easier if I were to move there, as Rob did. It'd remove the pressure to pick a wife rather than a companion. But immigration law requires marriage. Governments ruin everything they touch.
Robs a lucky man and lot of guys that go there with the right mindset and logic can be lucky too. Asian women understand what it takes to make men happy in general. thees always a few bad apples but that in every country. Good video
I’m dating a younger Asian woman and this question of money has always been in the back of my mind. However,it’s mostly a western idea and I have begun looking at the relationship just like any other. Stop questioning and just live and love.
Age is just a number between 2 people who truly love each other. Are are truly committed to one another no matter whether rich or poor in sickness and in health for better for worse. Until God takes them home to heaven.
Chrissy, your thoughts and perspective give me real hope for the possibility of a genuine connection. I'm incorporating your videos to refine my hiring criteria. Hopefully I'll find someone as authentic as yourself. Salamat po. Peace and Love, B Goat
Marriage should mean security, and bring a sense of joy and completeness for both people involved. If it doesn’t, or if there are doubts… just don’t. Not that it matters, but I am very happy for you Chrissy, and Rob is a fortunate and lucky man. Take care guys.
Age is not important. My Filipina wife and I have been together 23 years and married 19. There is a 9 year gap, but we are very happy with 3 kids and now a grandson. I have friends who have age gaps of 30+ years and they are very happy. We need to stop thinking of age and start thinking of happiness, love, companionship and friendship. If you can laugh together, enjoy being together then age does not factor into the equation. Be happy and long life to you both.💝
That is why after I get off the plane in MNL, I'm heading to Divisoria to buy all my clothes from a Ukay-ukay. The problem is, the security guard might give me trouble when I enter the hotel. 😊
Im 43 , my filipina is 39, there isnt a age gap. I met her online from dating site . Started communication 6 months before i came to the Philippines. I landed here October 10th . Staying 3 months. Shes living with me here in Manila. Im not rich but i earn good income and have the ability to stay away from America for long periods. We are using this time to bond and learn about each other.
Age gap of 10 years used to be normal 50 years ago, 20+ years age gap 100 years ago. It’s an issue of provision and when women in the west have higher incomes, they don’t need more provision and can choose a younger guy or around their age. Women have the opportunity to improve their lot for themselves and their family & children , so why not?!
All relationships are transactional regardless of age. He wants xyz in a woman. She wants xyz in a man. When theres a mutual match it becomes a relationship.
You have to understand that most men in America are treated like they are nothing. The law's in the U.S. are very one sided in favor of w-m-n. Most American w-m-n have a mindset that they are above all. I have been to Thailand many times and the way I am treated is way different then in America. The w-m-n in Thailand seem to like being w-m-n so they are feminine. I never feel I am competing when I am with Thai w-m-n. I would have to live in Thailand many years and know a Thai lady many years before I would even think about anything past a GF.
I agree it is quite different in Asia and I also agree you have to really get to know somebody before you commit to marriage although Chrissy and I have only known each other one and a half years we work together and have made over 180 TH-cam videos so it’s like dog years we’ve known each other every minute of every day working side-by-side
Hello Chrissy and Rob! Of course you have and will get negative comment and pointed questions. Most western men, including young ones, are envious of Rob success with you, and most Filipino women are envious of your lifestyle, not to speak of western women. This question is without second thoughts: In a large age gap marriage to a Filipina, it is likely that she will be widowed in her sixties; how do you think this is viewed by women wo have your level of education/experience.
some will, some won't, so what. some Expats have no intention to get married, some do and others are comfortable in having a relationship, every situation has it's own value
People need to be honest …man with money or without, a women with baggage or without. Most men that come to the Philippines are last chance saloon types, but all the same looking for love without knowing really the Filipino culture at all. An apparent pretty young face hides a culture, a western man simply only understands a “little” until you’ve been here a few years. You can see this recently while two older vloggers have been thrown under the bus by the Filipina wives …be careful a dark culture lives beneath some..especially the poor province Filipina..” be careful out there”. Ps there’s no hurry to get married at all, it’s one of the worst mistakes you can make marrying early.
I am living with a filipina here in Davao. I am a tall blue eyed man British expat. Slim and handsome. My age is 69. My filipina partner is 48 years old. The sexual attraction we have for each other is strong.
