That’s the twin clutch SST for you. Pretty crazy for an automatic to have 6 gears with shorter gear ratios. It’s just bonkers fast for an automatic and that sport mode manual with paddle shift? The rpm’s just stay in that sweet spot that the turbo is just waiting to bite down on.
Good vid, 10th of a second doesn't count as an official win in my book, driver, track, fuel, and operating conditions can make that difference. It just proves the cars on on level playing fields. They both get there, but 2 different ways. Love them both
toophatdiego Slight torque advantage for the Ralliart(253lb/ft vs. 244lb/ft) and transmission advantage as well. No matter how quick or well the WRX driver shifts, he isn't beating the shift times of the twin-clutch in the Ralliart.
it's entirely up to you, and what your plans are to do with the car. If you are looking to build it up i'd go with the wrx just because the ralliart only comes with the semi automatic twin clutch transmission , and with that you are limited to how much hp and tourque you can get out of it. But if you're looking for an everyday driver and do some modest upgrades i'd go with the ralliart, i bought one and i have no complaints with it. either way i'm sure you'd be happy with your purchase, but the ralliart is better from the factory
Prolly to late but to get a good looking wrx that competes with ralliart you have to go for 11-14 models since they have wide body that actually make them not look like normal impreza. And the problem is finding low mileage those for a reasonable price. Ralliart imo since it’s much more efficient with its 230 hp compared to 260 from wrx
Kinda late but I find Subaru more comfortable. I worked at a local ECU tuning shop during my On-The-Job Training. Every now and then I encounter Subarus going for remap for their aftermarket exhausts. The seats are better than the Evo X in my opinion. Also, even without the spoiler, it looks better. Evo is better if you want to increase horsepower. Boxer engines have reliability issues beyond 400hp.
+Deanissicass if its modded with bolt ons I 100% believe you. I own a ralliart and Ive driven my friends full bolt on wrx and that thing is fun. Also have drive my friend evo x and my older brothers 15 sti. I own a ralliart and personally if money wasnt an object I probably would have bought a 15 sti. I dont have an allegiance to either brand Ive always had classic toyotas up until this point. (ae86 and 85 supra) Ralliart is to me ideally a perfect daily. Painless in traffic excellent in all weather conditions. A wrx would be just as good too.

96 mph for ralliart and 98mph for wrx. If it wasn't a 1/4 mile wrx would have taken the lead.
