There is another called Dakar not a Paris-Dakar, just dakar, dark chocolate and creamy...I haven't seen one in about 25 years...but my favorite of all is the Fraisier, and found a recipe to make y own for my birthday, but they are monster sized...it's that or Angel food cake.
No Opera Cake? My favorite, and the best that I have had? The one made by my wife! I will second that Philippe Conticini's Paris Brest is the best that I have ever had. The holidays are approaching, perhaps some holiday themed videos such as Christmas lights, markets, etc.,.
The Opéra was one of the 3 ties in fifth position. But as I don't like chocolate cakes, I had to make a totally unbiased choice for the Mont-Blanc 😄 You can be sure that there will be many videos around the Xmas holiday season!

You again had to suffer for us all😉 I particularly agree with the choice of millefeuille because a really good one should NEVER have sugar glazure on top but something far more subtle or interesting. You should also try the one from Meert in Lille, it is also very well baked and cuts like a dream!
I have to say I love millefeuilles, but most of the time they are quite difficult to eat and you end up with a mess on your plate. This one was very light...
My favorite is Paris Brest. The one by Cedric Grolet is exquisite. The presentation is beautiful. Will try Mont Blanc when I'm there next week. Marron glace is also a favorite.

I can't believe the Opera and the macarons are nor on your list! I am a Professional Pastry Chef and those two are always exam material. Neverrheles, ECLAIRS are my favorites I arrive this Sunday and I"m glad Paris has hundred of stairs and places tp walk to so I can burn out eveeyrhing that I'll eat 😂😂😂😂😂

And for me, macarons, though I love them and made a special video about the best in Paris, are not really cakes, as for "gâteau" in French. I hope you have a great stay, even if the weather is a mix of wet and cold at the moment.

Nice diverse list. I would also add, for me, that La Maison du Chocolat has the best chocolate eclair and Mori Yoshida has the best frasier.
