I've been waiting for this video for such a long time, so happy it's finally out! #delicioussssssss
Kimberley Moore my favorite part is when showcasing Le Chocolate by Alain Ducasse since they showcase cocoa vains from all over the world! Just exquisite.
Thank you Kimberley!
Absolutely elegant sweets

how the hell are all these amazing pastry chefs who deal with pastry and chocolate all day so skinny?????
They work standing up and move a LOT!! AND don't eat what they cook ..
We taste, but, eat our creations with our eyes.
They probably have good genes too 🧬
Willpower dear
when you cook, you dont feel like eating. because you smell it all day.
You have to admit: the French know how to enjoy life.
Absolutely!
@@KirstenTibballs Salutations du Maroc, comment allez-vous? Comment va tout le monde, d'où venez-vous, s'il vous plaît?
c'est vrai ! venez en France et vous ne serez pas décue par sa nourriture !
@@christinerichard145 Thank you, my dear friend, are you from France?
@@lamrabatmohamad5010 yes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never mind the cakes, Cedric is drop dead gorgeous!
:D ... *snaps fingers* Focus we are here for the cakes :) I'm glad you like the video
Sorry Kirsten lol. Love your channel. Greetings from Scotland.
🍩🍨She doesn’t break her smile throughout the entire video 🍫😄❣️🌰
In Heaven you can eat all kinds of French pastries without getting fat
My Dream...
Think I gained 20 lb just from watching this but I soooo wanna go to Paris now🥰🇮🇪
You won’t be disappointed! 😊
@@KirstenTibballs 😋😊😘
En París cada pastel es como una pieza de joyería que cuidan hasta el último detalle. Me encanta.
In Paris, each cake is like a piece of jewelry that take care of every last detail. I love
Beautiful! I 100% agree.
I literally just got tears in my eyes....I want to go here so badly and LEARN all the things 😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍
It is such a magic place 😊
I love her. She is so cute and humble......really enjoy watching her show and seeing her cooking sweets😂😘
Thank you very much!
She's like a nice Karen... Basic in the best way 😍 I'm here for it
I ate nothing but dessert in Paris when I visited. I was poor at the time and had to choose between regular food and dessert.😂
You made the correct choice.
ill do the same
Wise decision
Me to, when I first time visited Paris, I go to Laduree and buy only 5 macaroons, that much I can afford. It cost 15euros,but was one of the best money I spent in my life😊👌😎
I did the same!! It was 100% worth it!
My favourite part of this video is when she tastes the amazing lemon tart at Karamel. As a pastry student, it's always good to hear what makes a good product stand out and Kirsten's advice on different textures and layering has helped me with product ideas and gaining those extra few marks in my upcoming assessments!
You'd probably be interested to know that I actually got Pastry Chef Nicolas to come to my school and teach how to make the Lemon Tart. Was so amazing!
@@KirstenTibballs That sounds like a fantastic experience! Definitely wish I was there!
Thanks for the video..I am drooling watching all those beautiful dessert
Thank you so much for watching! I think I am about ready to go back again!
I can 100% vouch for the hot chocolate at Angelina. This was one of the "must-see" destinations on my Paris travel list when I went there. Be sure to order the "ancient recipe" hot chocolate off the menu. It is simply the best hot chocolate I have ever had.
I am so glad you agreed! I travel a long way fir the Angelina hot chocolate!
The sheer joy and happiness you exhibit while indulging in your addiction to food is fantastic. Like a junkie getting high. Just don't ask me how I recognize it though :)
My favourite moment was the spoon cracking through the beautiful chocolate of the coffee dessert from La Meurice! Mouthwatering.
Was so satisfying:)
Simply, marvelous!! What a wonderful tour of exceptional artists. Kirsten is a gem!!!!!
I can almost taste them! Thanks to the way Kristen describes the taste and textures ❤️
I am so glad you enjoyed the video 😊
Just booked my kids first trip to Paris. I cant wait until they taste these magical creations.
How exciting! Hope they enjoy it.
Wow ! I wish I was there to share in all the wonderful things you have tasted in Paris ! I love Paris ! Thank you for your video ! It let me live through you !
My favorite moment would be the Orange and Almond pastry at Pierre Hermé. Looks delicious!
Amazing choice :)
Paris ♥️ food,architecture,fashion...is it another place like this in this world?
I don’t believe so!
I live in Paris, and while the city is beautiful and has a lot of interesting spots and food, it is not as dreamy as people tend to see it.
I can't pick a favourite moment but I just love watching the joy as you bite into the products for the first time..... it is awesome
Thank you
Oh my gosh I wish I had watched this before my trip to Paris last August. Can’t wait to go back and go to some of these places.
Thank you 😊😊
My favourite moment is every unboxing of the petit gateaux and eclair and her breaking down every element of the dessert (and her apology to lauduree for the not loving the eclair!!)
Had to be honest! Thank you for your comments x
Your honest review is much appreciated.
Thank you Uyen-phuong. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you so much Kirsten, for this amazing video!
My pleasure 😊
My favourite moment is watching Kirsten eat all the delicious pastries!
I might have enjoyed that part also 🤣
The Eclairs in this video are probably my favorite thing! I’m a pastry chef from Louisiana and would love to get the opportunity to go one day. Thank you for sharing your experiences and work with us
You won't regret going xx
Hello Kirsten, came across your channel via this video.... thank you for sharing your experience and guidance! Much appreciated!

Fabulous video. Wonderful to see such “art”. Exquisite! You did a fabulous job. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for your feedback x
Amazing Video! Thank you for your beautiful outlook on these wonderful places and pastries! Much love from Brazil!
Hello in Brazil, I am glad you enjoyed the video. I love Brazil!
My favourite moment of this Paris video was when you compared the various macarons. Very insightful for those who don't know which famous macarons to try first!
I'm glad this video was helpful :)
OMG im drooling over here! great video! new subscriber! xx
Thank you, Jade.
I liked that you gave honest reviews. This video is comprehensive and impressive!
Thank you for such a great delicious episode! 😍🥰🥰 When I go to France , I'm definitely going to visit those! 🤗🤗
I am French and a culinary blogger, passionate about French pastries. Congratulation, I think you have made very good choices (many famous French pastries have dropped in quality, you haven't fallen into this trap), just exception about "Ladurée" and pastries of "Angelina" (hot chocolate is good).
"Michalak" is my favorite pastry. :)
You have to try the bakery "Des Gâteaux et du Pain" (best croissants but pastries are very good too). And you will love "Nicolas Bernardé" further of Paris, the God of cakes (but cakes for 6 persons minimum).
Other pastries I love : "Sébastien Dégardin", " La Goutte d'Or", "Jean-Paul Hévin" (chocolatier), "Mori Yoshida" (french pastries by Japanese people).
Thank you for the great message and suggestions. I wanted to film in so many places, some we couldn’t due to time restraints and some wouldn’t let us unfortunately. You have suggested a few that I haven’t visited yet, so I will be sure to add them to my list next time 😊

OMG you lucky girl. Doing exactly what you are doing in this video is on my bucket list. 😔Unfortunately, I probably will not live long enough to experience these beautiful pastries🥮. So thank you for making this video. I may not get to ever taste them but at least I get to see them.😊
Thank you for this excellent presentation. Your commentary, enthusiasm and knowledge inspire!
How I wish I could travel and taste all these delicacies with you!! Just so awesome ❤✨💫
Thanks you so much....I actually try a few of those pastries.....but your video show so much more....so excited for my next visit to Paris ....merci beaucoup....and your French accent is si cute..I’m French Canadian.....😘
Haha I try. Thank you for your kind words :).
This is seriously the best video. Thanks for doing it!
My pleasure, I am so glad you enjoyed it 😊
Kriten, I loved the way you took me around Paris, and that to, to all the pastry shops. You are a born commentator, and so knowledgeable about chocolates. Enjoyed every bit, especially the lemon tart.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback! 😊
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCHO! UNBELIEVABLE PASTERIES! SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU ENJOYING THEM!
Oh my god, you have met so many of my favourite French pastry chef. My favourite moment in the video was when you met Cedric Grolet and tried his PARIS-Brest. One of my favourite dessert too.
What a privilege to have met all of them.
I love every video that you post on TH-cam. You are such an inspirational pastry queen in Australia.
oh wow thank you so much! Beautiful creations by fantastic chefs. Cedrics Paris Brest is to die for.
This is one of my favorite videos ever!
I am so glad you enjoyed it, thank you for the feedback!
Our berries and cherries are growing nicely for you Kirsten. Love your yummy creations
Thank you Kirsten.
My mouth is watering .
How am I suppose to pick my favourite part! I loved the whole video! I particularly enjoy how you educate us on terminology and origins of the pastries. For example, I didn’t know where the name Paris-Brest came from. The lemon meringue tart looked absolutely beautiful. I am feeling so inspired now! I plan to travel to Paris sometime in the coming year and will 100% make sure to use this video as a reference and visit every single store! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm so glad this video gave you inspiration, it was so much fun to put together! Yes, I all find the Paris-Brest history fascinating :)
Been looking for someone who would know to give me some recommendations on Paris patisseries, now I just need to book my ticket....Paris here I come. Thanks for another great video.
Thank you for your kind words Michael. I'm hoping to do one in London next ;)
Fabulous video! Thanks so much, Kirsten!
Thank you for watching!
So good video! Those French pastries and chocolate make me want to eat them,! Learning about French and found this video! Perfect for learning!
What a journey! Noted that boutique patisseries take pride in presentation as we see the fancy boxing. But being practical and still enjoying French gastronomy is what many of us enjoy. Can you make a video on local favorite 'budget' pastry shops in the future? I know they're out there!
Your (Burberry) scarf is lovely!
What a fantastic idea! I always love hearing what people want to see. I'll definitely have to consider it! Thank you :)
You are so great at explaining the different items and give such interesting information on their history. Love that you give an honest review too, not just saying everything is 'yum' lol. New subscriber here!
Did just want to say, imo there is no such thing as 'lady-like' :p can be whatever you want it to be! No less of a lady chowing down on an eclair
Been to some of these shops...yum! Love to see this...thanks for sharing! The French do make the best chocolate! If you take me along next time I can help you with the french pronounciations.
Extremely insightful video. Can’t wait to check your suggested locations out next month!
You won’t be disappointed 😋
i love Paris and the food, dessert, pastry basically EVERYTHING AT THERE ! 💕 hopefully one day i'll get a chance studying pastry and live there 🤩☺❤❤❤ i love you 💕
Thanks for the love! Hope you get to Paris soon 💕
Kirsten, Frank, and Cedric!!!!
My top favourite pastry chefs in one video.
What did i do to deserve this!?! 😂😂😂
I hope you enjoyed it x!
Omg. How can anyone decide. They all look so good. Thank you for sharing
I love watching Kirsten living her best life!
🙌🏻🙌🏻
3 years ago almost to the day I was in Paris and wish I had this as a reference!!! 🤤 Even to visit one of these amazing places!
A good reason to go back 😉
We plan on going back, yes! Can’t wait for more recommendations from yourself. Hopefully in other amazing cities!?
My favorite part was at 17:50 when you ate the millefeuille. It was satisfying to see it cut so easily with the plastic knife. I bet it would be great with fresh raspberries.
👏👏👏
Love the simple presentation of the eclairs, such a classic it never goes out of trend and they are delicious too.
Christophe Adams has really perfected them. The eclair king.
Totally amazing! Thank you for this beautiful video!
You and the sweets look so great!
Thank you 😊
This video makes me smile. Bon appetit.
Thank you :) That's what I love too hear
Thank you for making this beautiful video. I have bookmarked all the places you mentioned. I would love to visit those patisseries.
I really like how she eats the items. Can't wait to visit France.
Best bit is your descriptions of all the goodies! Absolutely drooling!!! 🤤 #foodporn
My Favourite part was eating it haha
The French really do it well great video, getting insight into the philosophies of these great pastry chefs. Thanks
Oh my gosh!! How to choose a favourite? Paris brest, Millefuille, lemon tart... yum!!! What a dream to try them.. desserts are my favourite. Beautiful video. Thank you.
I'm glad you like the video. Very hard to pick a favourite I know.
AMAZING VIDEO!! CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF IT!! Also can’t wait to go to Paris and try these perfections in shape of sweets 🤩😍🤤
I still dream of some of the desserts...
Really hard to pick just one special moment in this video. I love chocolate so I was amazed with the Patrick Rogers packages, also the way you explained about important characteristics of chocolate at Alan Ducasse shop. The perfect shiny chocolate, the snap, the temperature... Wow!
But honestly the textures of the lemon tart almost made me bite the screen! Omg just fabulous! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Thank you for your wonderful comments. The Lemon tart recipe is coming to Savour online Classes next year!
One of the best reviews of Parisian patisseries, bravo et merci!
A true inspiration I could never be as artistic but I love to wow my family with your creativity .
Thank you so much for your kind words x
Kirsten, thank you, this was so enjoyable to watch, a beaufull video and wonderful narration.Let me assure you that your “self sacrifice” in tasting all these pastries and recommending the various patisseries is much appreciated. I’ll be visiting Paris later in the year, now I have even more to look forward to 😋
Amazing, thank you for your kind words. Have you been on your trip yet?
Thank you for shooting my store.
I love when she visit yann couvreur. I would love to visit his shop too and eat some of his pastry !!! The choclate one 😍😍😍😍
Can confirm, must taste :)
Everything looks appealing and delicious to eat enjoy it thank you for sharing
Kirsten, you are killing me. I love the Savour Patissier of the Year live Facebook feeds and find an excuse to sit at home every year. I have been to a couple of courses at Savour and bought most of the products in the store. INext time I'm in Paris I'm following your path. You are amazing!!
Thank you for your lovely feedback, I am so happy I was able to help you on your next trip to Paris 😊
I went to all of these places and they are great ! We are very lucky to have all this in France
How amazing are they? Thank you for your suggestions. I visit Paris regularly so I will keep an eye out for your suggestions :)
The Paris Brest from Cedric Grolet was my favorite because it's a classic from all times
Agreed!
I loved this video. It´s quite refreshing. The fact that you describe so gracefully what you like and don´t like from each bakery. Thank you
I am so glad you liked it 😊
Thank you so much, I am going to Paris next year and was looking for recommendations, fabulous and look forward.
I am happy I could help 😊
Kirsten, the most confusing thing to me, would be which patisserie pastry I chose first! Love this video. What elegance. ..xxx
Thank you very much. I suggest you try them all!
@@KirstenTibballs I was tasting with you!
Only reason I went to Paris was to eat desserts.. No other city has these many choice of desserts.. Every moment of time spent in Paris was bliss
100% 😁😁😁
Paris is great, but Tokyo can give Paris a run for their money

Thanks Kirsten, I enjoyed the tour so much!
Thank you for the feedback 😌😌
My favourite moment was when you were reviewing the desserts🤤🤤
I did love that part 🤣❤
Her pronunciation is absolutely hilarious but shes so charming all is forgiven!
I'm sorry! I butchered the pronunciation lol
Excellent criteria for deciding the TOP. I also enjoyed the inclusion of historical tidbits, or how to taste a chocolate. Not new to me, but so worth mentioning. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love how you featured Alain Ducasse and Roger Patrick! This is a must for me on my trip to Paris next year!
You are going to love it!
You should mention the prices as well
I guess I heard in le Meurice the stray with 5 is 170€, but in La duree they have the prices in 7,50 €,To 11€ , which is very affordable comparing to the rest, then if you are more curious you can open their websites they have the prices too. 🍪🍫🍰🍧🍨🍦💝
Everything is 6 euros. Apart from scones and jam. They're 9 euros.
@@bmker5469 Thank you.
@@bmker5469 So its approx. $7.00 US dollars. Like I said earlier, I can afford the box and the bag.
@@16dya If you can afford to travel to Paris, you can definitely afford to buy from at least one store one time.
Awesome video! Favourite part "it's always awkward and very unlady like to eat an eclair” 😂
HAHA! No comment! 🤣
Kirsten what a great vlog. Really enjoyed all the places you visited
You are very knowledgable it was an eye opening pleasure to watch your show I plan to visit some of those amazing establishments myself now thanks !
So nice of you. I'm glad this video gave you some ideas :)
Pronunciation from a native French speaker:
- LE Meurice, not LA Meurice.
- Pierre Hermé without an "s" at the end (or else he becomes Hermès lol)
- The PH flavour is Ispahan like the city in Iran. Is-Pa-Han for the French pronunciation, Is-Fa-Han for the English.
- Criollo is CREE-O-LO
- Ladurée is La-Du-Ray, not La-Ju-Ray
- Patrick RO-GEY lol not Roger he's French
- Meilleur OU-VREE-YER de France
But otherwise, its amazing video and amazing selection of products, and your comments are great, detailed and honest.
Thanks! I'll remember that.
