I've watched one of you're other videos and you mentioned your boot door doesn't lock, have you tried locking internally via the drivers door (master)? Also sleeping in your vehicle obviously will create condensation, try leaving your driver window open and the rear passenger window open, by about 10mm....may be worth purchasing window deflectors for your car door windows, these will help with security, rain and still allow you to have these windows open slightly. Hey just found your channel I am building out a small van like you have soon what's a small van item you think is something to get right away? Btw not my ultimate goal just a step in my journey.
Good video brother. Real reality and unreal reality - one exists and one exists only in our head :-) I'm not sure there is even such a thing as real or unreal reality, because everything in the world is always changing; sometimes slowly sometimes quickly. Freedom is also a pretty amazing thing; it can be good or bad, (good if you are psychopathic murderer and just broken out of jail; bad if its you in his sights...) but at least, at the time you were recording editing and posting this video I think you had a pretty good taste of freedom :-) You are free from the "drudgery" of London daily life, but saddled with the "drudgery" of van life. I guess you could say freedom comes at a cost and it's how much you are prepared to pay for it and how you make use of your freedom that matters. I'm not sure there is an ultimate way of life; I guess if you are healthy, happy and enjoying your life and not harming anyone, that would be the ultimate lifestyle - whether living in a van or a mansion. Will, in some of these smaller villages, have you thought about stopping in at a local pub, to warm up on a winter's night for a start, (and use their loo) but even just to have a chat with the bar person or some of the locals? Just a thought...and another thought...when I travelled I always planned to arrive at my destination an hour before sunset- it just made things so much easier. Of course it didn't always happen but it was so much more relaxing when it did. A little portable AM/FM radio can be useful if no internet and wont flatten your car battery. When I did a trek to Ghorepani/Poon Hill in Nepal three years ago, I took a small portable radio thinking there will be no internet. Well there was internet - I could skype with friends in Australia - but there was absolutely no radio reception !
Hey man! thanks for the message. Sadly because of Corona you cant socialise as much in pubs and things like that but when its all over life will return to normal!

haha why do so many people say this haha
It’s the accent. Well spoken with a bit of gruff. Also a bit of a resemblance. Have no fear if you ever loose your hair. I’d take it as a compliment if I were you👍🏻 also get that check engine light sorted before you get stranded somewhere! ✌🏼
Hey just found your channel I am building out a small van like you have soon what's a small van item you think is something to get right away?
Btw not my ultimate goal just a step in my journey.
Hey Bob great idea I hope the build is going well! I would get a jet boil, this is something I don’t have but would be very helpful!
@@WillsWhereabouts seen those I have one kinda like that now😃 btw stay showing the real side of van stuff.
Master chef Will cooking for us another yet great video.
Hope you enjoy
Hey, what fridge do you have for camping? Is it one the plugs into the battery or just a cooler box?
I don’t usually use a fridge to be honest, I just buy food snd eat it within a couple of days
