Beans beans are good for your heart...the more you eat the more you fart 💨😷 . Had Richmond sausages for Breckie myself this morning 😘. Was going to say why your blanket didn’t work, but there’s a lot of comments below that have hit the nail on the head. I’m really enjoying your car camping vids Will... thanks for persevering during the cold and lockdown, that’s a miserable combination 😬😷🤗
Yeah this is a great idea of wildlife or even human life getting near your car and camera could be hidden in a tree close somewhere!!! Also did you get your boot lock fixed? That needs sorting for your safety. Be careful with the boggy monster!!! Eddie from Malaga!!!
Love seeing these videos mate. At a time when everyone’s feeling rubbish and under house arrest it’s nice just seeing someone have a small glimpse of “freedom”. Whilst ultimately it’s just staying in your car but it’s a little bit of adventure and fun. You’re not harming anyone or breaking any rules or laws so it’s nice to see. Keep it up mate! ☺️👍🏼
Hi will. Could you build a small shelf that could fold up covering your window, doubles up and drops on the bed for a more stable cooking platform? Just an idea. Keep vids rolling mate
I have a cooking tip for you, since you seem to like wraps. 1) Slightly oil a cold frying pan with a piece of tissue , 2) add first layer, for instance some slices of salami. Add a second layer of grated cheese. 3) break an egg, bat/whisk (?) them omelette style, add it evenly to the pan. 4) top it of with one tortilla and put it on the stove, low to medium heat. Until the cheese has become golden brown so it doesn't stick anymore and the egg has solidified against the tortilla, keeping everything together. Turn and leave until the tortilla browns a little. 5) done.
Loving the videos Will, last year I went camping in some very secluded areas of the Lake District plenty of places to discover an your not going to have trouble finding a spot to park up for the night, try wast water lake my friend beautiful scenery an one hell of an experience, and if your ever looking for a guide or a fellow camper I’m always up for an adventure, but I camp in a tent not my car as mine is way to small for that, hit me up ! Safe camping ✌️
It is super cold right now in UK so props to you for doing this. Don't know how I stumbled across your channel but nice to see someone doing stealth camping in UK.
You sir are a legend... that windscreen hoover thingymajig is absolutely quality! I got one off your recommendation, and no more waiting 20 mins for the windscreen to demist. I didn't even know there was a thing like it haha. Oh and btw, I stayed there one night in 2013 and around 11:30pm I had a tap on the window, and was just asked to leave. Either way, happy days... we love stealth camp videos, oh and erm...you need utensils rather than fingers in the hot pan lol.
Great vid Will, get yourself some deals done with whatever your eating, also, the idea about the outside camera was a good one in a previous comment, perhaps also when it warms up you can get an awning, before you know you will have a two room detached van in the middle of anywhere you choose. 👍

Hi Will have you considered setting up a split charger and leisure battery that charges as you drive but will not flatten your start battery overnight also for the spring and summer look into the alpicool range of compressor cool box mine will run indefinatley from my aux battery on solar they take very little battery power and are reasonably price on amazon . Also if you set up your split charger up properly you can flick a switch and jump start the engine from the leisure battery . A solar. Panel wouldn't be an idea either and a lot cheaper than they were a couple of years ago.
excellent loved the video. can't wait for your electrical set up. you need to buy a cheap van and film the process of diy fit out. good luck. still think your going to set fire to that bed. do you have a fire blanket.
Thanks David, I would love to do a van up from scratch but some savings will need to be made first! Hah yes the fire blanket has been purchased, you’ll see in my next video
Big thanks for getting me through another 20mins of lockdown. For anyone looking for a small adventure do a few stealth brew ups , it could keep you sane and out in nature which some people need.I use a dpower burner with small gas can, it all fits in a metal cup just add water and a nescafe cappaccino sachet. Less than £20 you don't need expensive kit. The hoowt
Keep pushing with your content mate, you’ll smash it. I didn’t move out till I was 27, I’m 35 now and have a business with 11 staff, travel all over the world etc. Keep on it!
I had to stay in North London while hotels where closed for a business meeting the following day in St Albans.. Found a good spot oppersite the London Colney Primary School on Perham Way, St Albans... was a quiet night no problems..
Electric blankets tend to use ALOT of juice. Try driving with the blanket full on powered by the van for about a 1/2 hour to "pre" warm it so your 2nd power system dosen`t take the full hit from stone cold. That said your better of with a portable power unit (JACKERY or similar) and then you can use a small electric heater & other stuff safely. Have fun & stay safe!!!
Hi, safest thing for you to use is fire blanket over bed rather than metal tray. Should have one anyway! If blanket is in farenheigt then temp needs to be around 70, but if in centigrade needs to be around 20! Know Newdigate and Box hill very well. What about Headley cricket ground? 😎
Since you have a Jet Boil get a cheap hot water bottle and fill it with hot water. Depending on the size of the bottle maybe 2-3+ hours of heating bliss. Hopefully you'll be a sleep by then.
Only recently found your channel - really well put together content. Top drawer fella, but............Richmond Sausages?!?! Wtf?! Come on - sort it out. Only Lincolnshire Sausages will do!!! 😂😄 Keep it up and happy camping! Atb
You probably never dreamed you would have a 65 year old woman from Texas as a fan but I just love your videos and you are very funny and entertaining! Enjoy yourself while you are young!!! Life is short!!
I am a huge fan of your stealth camping videos and find them strangely cathartic to watch. It would be good to see you do an extended stealth camp, perhaps for a few days, trying out different locations. Perhaps also do some creative cooking in your car? Thanks for all your efforts in making these videos.
Just up the road from me, Newdigate. Heated blankets often don't feel warm to the touch of the hand...and they use a LOT of power. 10.9v means your battery has not got sufficient power, especially when having a big draw like a heater/blanket...shouldn't ever let it drop that low. It's more techincal than that (had a solar/battery set up in my RV so have a basic understanding of batteries/volts/amps ans power draw etc
Not sure if you have this over in the U.K, but you should consider buying a pack of Damprid. It will absorb the moisture in your car, thus no more condensation. I believe one pack is good for 3 months.
''Oh Bollox.'....seems to be your Trademark... Love the video's Will always a treat when I see a new one, keep up the good work, I have a little Bongo so I can relate to the tiny space.
LOL I thought I recognised that Tesco, then as soon as you said Newdigate I knew exactly where you'd parked lol, lots of the pubs round here have blocked up their carpark entrances, The Beehive hasn't (about 5 miles to the east) but the Police like to sit in it with their hairdryers in the mornings, but tbh there are tons of lanes with lay-bys in round that part of the world that you'd probably never park in the same spot two nights running. I hear church car parks are quiet good for stealth camping in too, not being used too much at the mo but they never employ parking enforcement companies either.
Hah yep as you saw I had a few issues with the pubs closing off there car parks. Ohhhhhhh a Church stealth camp could be very fun but also I'd find that super spooky.
I like these video's my mates go wild camping but tent style. In a van looks more useful. Ar'nt those Jet boils brilliant. I use a Highlander Fastboil. Cheaper but does the same thing. Cant beat a hot drink portable style in a tent 7 am in the morning, fill water, click the starter and wait for about a minute. Brilliant.
Heating a heating element from a battery will use up a very large amount of power, it maybe that your battery was draining fast when trying to heat your blanket. A hot water bottle might have been a helpful option...
I like the formula. I'm enjoying Your vids very much. For me it woun't get repetitive for a long time. Ad some extra features from time to time, nothing fancy, and you are set.
Great vids will , just stumpled onto them recently , love them ,, but you need a foldable table to cook on , keep your bed safe and clean , it bothers my ocd 😂
Loving these videos. Don't know if I can get bored of them! Especially as you're nearish me and youre giving me ideas of places to visit! You can chuck in one of the classic ones all van lifers do which is do it in a storm / bad weather. Tesco car park could be good but I genuinely fear for your safety there 😂😂
Electric blankets and electric heaters are generally a no go unfortunately, unless on electric hook up, because they draw to match power and drain a battery very quickly.
The videos are a grear watch buddy 👌🏻 Im sure its unintentional but they are very comical haha every video you seem to get hurt on some way 😆 Did you ever think of getting one of those 12v cooler boxes? Like halfords ones though this time of year is it even needed with how cold it is lol
We've parked in some dead quiet areas in our van conversion overnight. And sometimes we have ended up moving because of dodgy activity from other people.... Also...we always park the van so that we can just hop in the driver's seat and drive off forwards.
Being a nosey person, seeing a car parked in the corner of a car park out of the way would arouse my suspicions more I've just bought myself a heated sleeping bag liner, powered by a power bank, looking forward to trying that one out at the front of the local railway station soon, literally 10 metres from the main entrance is where I will be perched in my hammock, just praying my loud snoring won't blow my cover!! Great video again buddy, keep flying the flag 👍
I have the same electric blanket and it seems to only get warm when its folded in half. Does the job though and I only have a power bank to use when car camping.
My 12v blanket works great so long as I keep it covered to keep the heat in. However here in Australia I’m spoilt in that if I’m too cold I just drive north, if too hot I drive south. If a heat wave is on, it’s up the snowy mountains. Good job I like driving long distance.
Excellent video. Don't be concerned about stealth camping videos being the same thing or getting boring. It may be stealth camping each time, but each one is a new and unique adventure.
could you expand a bit on the shopping portion of your program? I am watching from America and I find the shops are quite different there, it would be interesting to see more about England in the videos. Anyways love the content, keep it up.
Good stuff mate. I’m now hungry after seeing you cook breakfast. Those jet boils are great, I know a few people who use them and the Karcher vac is also another bit of kit well worth every penny. I’m wondering if you overloaded your battery hence why the blanket didn’t work.
Loving the videos, keep them coming but obviously stay safe (ie don't get caught by police for moving too far from home!). Just be careful about overnighting in a tesco - they have number plate recognition cctv at most of them and will charge you if you stay over their designated 2 hours. As for heating, the best thing by far is a hot water bottle.
Like the videos and personality my man. You could try a stealth camp challenge where you travel to 10 different cities in 10 nights and the goal is not to get caught lol
I watch another camping guy on here, Steve Wallis, who in one of his videos had some eggs stored in a disposable plastic water bottle; no futzing around with shells in the morning, just pour it straight into the pan for some quick scrambled eggs in the field. granted he also stuck some mushrooms in there for an omelette which had the side effect of turning the eggs brown, I don't recommend that part, but the theory is sound
Try plugging your blanket in the front cigarette lighter with your engine running because it puts out more voltage with the engine running . If your battery drops below 12v you can warp the lead cells . And vent your leisure battery its giving off gases when charging your kit .
Great vid. Was waiting for you to wake up with a clamp on car 😂. I did a self camp 2 nighter in Richmond park week ago. 2nd night I could hear park police roaming around but they never found me but my heart was racing a bit 😂😂
Hey Will, been watching your channel a couple of weeks now and love it! It’s great to watch something different to wha my we normally watch, and what you’ve done with that Ford Galaxy is bloody brilliant! Keep it up mate 👍
I'm nearly 60yrs old mate and still stealth it in my works minibus when I have a few days off. However I haven't been able to in lockdown as the risk of getting caught v my job etc, so watching you is pure escapism. Keep it up mate.
Good find Mate! At least you didn't have to drive around all night to find a spot. Shame about the electric blanket! Great video as usual, very funny and entertaining... keep it up.
I did a Tesco overnighter recently, quite a few people sleeping in cars/vans, keep it descreat and tidy and no one looks twice, yes keep doing vids on overnighters in the galaxy, your the only realistic, honest bloke doing this, this vid was just like many nights ive had in the zafira, im interested in your electronic set up as im still using solar storage (not reliable in uk winter), as usual a good honest vid where the viewer feels they are there, also night time activity ie, i watch a dvd or use the PMR446 radio or just regular radio.
Thanks very much, glad to hear you enjoy them! I’ll always keep it real and honest and for sure show you my electrical set up, just waiting for a nice day to do a full tour
@@WillsWhereabouts as soon as i get my suv back from the garage, im fkin doing it. What tou need is a camera pointed at the wall that projects back onto the galaxy, proper stealth lol

Good stuff mate. I’m now hungry after seeing you cook breakfast. Those jet boils are great, I know a few people who use them and the Karcher vac is also another bit of kit well worth every penny. I’m wondering if you overloaded your battery hence why the blanket didn’t work.
They are great aren't they! Yep I think there was too much power being drawn!
Thanks Claire, I'm being careful and trying to avoid certain areas! I think a hot water bottle is must!
Another great video Will!! you are so entertaining and informative! keep them coming, please!!! Cheers from Argentina. Fede
Thank you! Will do Fede!
Like the videos and personality my man.
You could try a stealth camp challenge where you travel to 10 different cities in 10 nights and the goal is not to get caught lol
Haha I like the sound of that!
RS Shaun - you may enjoy a channel on TH-cam called 'Vagrant holiday' mate. American bloke stealthing in Europe. 👍
Thats a good idea, I'll give it a go
Try plugging your blanket in the front cigarette lighter with your engine running because it puts out more voltage with the engine running . If your battery drops below 12v you can warp the lead cells . And vent your leisure battery its giving off gases when charging your kit .
😂😂😂 I tried this in a future video coming up and had a flat battery! I think the blanket just doesn’t get very warm
Good cooking breakfast get food tongs and fliper save hands then breakfast wraps grate
Spontaniczny vanlife😀 to lubię 👍 Fajnie się ogląda Twoje przygody.
Gracias amigo
Great vid. Was waiting for you to wake up with a clamp on car 😂. I did a self camp 2 nighter in Richmond park week ago. 2nd night I could hear park police roaming around but they never found me but my heart was racing a bit 😂😂
Did you camp in a car? I would love to do a stealth camp in the park but I'm sure they would kick me out!
@@WillsWhereabouts no I use self bivvy tent . I have seen cars parked up over night in park . But police roaming around a bit more due lock down.
I may give it a go
@@WillsWhereabouts would make a good video .
Great vids mate keep them coming! Would you be able to do one explaining the leisure battery and electric set up? Cheers
Another quality video can we have more supermarket stealth camps .. loved the Christmas theme one 👊
More to come for sure!
Definitely great videos... More outdoor will be great... Like abandoned houses and so
More to come!
Hey Will, been watching your channel a couple of weeks now and love it! It’s great to watch something different to wha my we normally watch, and what you’ve done with that Ford Galaxy is bloody brilliant! Keep it up mate 👍
Awesome thanks mate, more to come!
Tip for your electric blanket: put a another blanket over the electric blanket to help hold its heat in, cheers from Colorado!
Thanks for the advice Jason!
I'm nearly 60yrs old mate and still stealth it in my works minibus when I have a few days off.
However I haven't been able to in lockdown as the risk of getting caught v my job etc, so watching you is pure escapism. Keep it up mate.
Thanks very much Steve, hopefully you can get back to it soon!
Good find Mate! At least you didn't have to drive around all night to find a spot. Shame about the electric blanket! Great video as usual, very funny and entertaining... keep it up.
I know very frustrating! Thank Moe
Anything you post is entertaining 😊
Haha thanks Will
I'm mobile and living in my lwb vw crafter from the 15th. Fingers crossed. Thanks for the upload
Great video... keep doing what your doing always enjoy them.
Thanks, will do!
Get yourself a fire blanket and lay it over wherever you are cooking, keep everything clean and it's fireproof, enjoy these vlogs by the way
LOVE THEM! Tour all across the UK would be great (starting with anywhere near Hastings :))
Will, always good when you add in the drone shots so maybe add one of them in every time to make it interesting.
Thanks Hugh, more drone shots in the next video!
Luv it mate, was really looking forward to the next one
Glad you enjoyed it
@@WillsWhereabouts as soon as i get my suv back from the garage, im fkin doing it. What tou need is a camera pointed at the wall that projects back onto the galaxy, proper stealth lol
Lovin the vids, keep em coming! 👍
Cheers mate
The videos are great as they are.
