The angels asked Allah ﷻ, "why are you placing on earth someone who would spread mischief" and Allah ﷻ said "I know what you do not know!".
The brother who asked brother Moazzam Begg the question, "Have you prayed the Maghrib Salah, oh brother?"; indicates that human beings like these that worship Allah ﷻ in any type of situation could be a type of answer to the question posed by Angels.

SubhanAllah !! Worshipping Allah ﷻ and the remembrance of Allah ﷻ when tied up and blindfolded without being able to move and yet performed the obligatory Salah. Surely mankind has been honored with a higher purpose, the worship of the creator in any situation with our own free will.
Yet we've (myself included first) been guilty of delaying our salah and not praying at the masjid in jama'a which is fard ayn on every Muslim male.
May Allah ﷻ make it easy on all those suffering oppression under the oppressors and guide them and us to the straight path by allowing us to hold on tightly to the deen of Allah 'ala kulli haal'.
Brother Moazzam Begg, may Allah ﷻ give you more power in your journey to fight the oppressors (Muslims and Non).

These day in Ramadhan I actually cried alot, thinking about the Ummah and SubhanAllah constantly made Do'a to Allah thinking Ya Rabb, we are the very creation that Allah defended when the angels asked why would God created a species that would spread corruption and shed blood on earth.
Elhamdulilah, there is still good men and women on earth who love Allah, by choices out of freewill in ease and hardships.
We worship Allah, out of love.
It's out of choice, that perhaps the angels isn't granted.

I cannot imagine living what he did. May all those people who did theses injustices seek forgiveness from Allah. It’s so hard to hear his story and even harder to imagine how misguided people are due to lack of knowledge. Islam is so beautiful. I wish everyone was Muslim the world would be a better place truly. ❤

And just like any other nation Islamic nations fought for power and protected themselves and even in some cases may have gotten greedy. This doesn’t show that the ideals were bad but the people following them were. It’s funny how you feel that there is no freedom in Islam. Just because you’ve seen people practice it incorrectly doesn’t mean that’s how all of us are. A little fun fact for you is that Islam gave rights to the oppressed in the Middle East during the era of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and women in Islam were given the right to vote a thousand or so years before the west.

SubhanAllah.... imagine this... the best and the closest he ever felt to Allah was when he was in the solitary confienment... to the degree that he even smiled while he imagined those times.
The fact that, if there was no religion or faith in him, a person spending half or even a quarter of the time he spent there, would face PTSD for the rest of the life.
Indeed there is solace and peace of the heart in the rememberance of Allah. May Allah protect all of the muslims of the world, May Allah help all the muslims facing trails and tribulation in this world, specially Dr. Afia, and may Allah grant us all the companionship of Muahammad SAW in the hereafter in the highest levels of Jannah. Allah humma Ameen.... JazakAllah.
