No he didn't la is so strict on dot. Plus they don't want to stand out in a busted up vehicle. Also the city don't own those wrecks the tow companies do bc my family owns and operates multiple tow businesses that r on city rotation throughout places. They ain't gonna turn over any wreck or impound without top dollar. 3 days it's ours. 6 weeks we got the title

I think they're worse. Did you even read what I wrote? Upgraded. Also, there are books written on how the SIS operated. They trained other agencies on surveillance and undercover work. In their time, they were the best. CIA good. Their predecesors, criminal intelligence, even sent officers to Russia undercover in the 50s and 60s. Its well documented. After chief gates, the LAPD lost all autonomy. You know what that means? They were seperate from city government. My uncle was SIS from 1981 to 98/99. He retired a Captain. The bad old days was when he was SIS people call it.
Odds are if you arent on call you dont get assigned a fleet car. It completely depends on your field office and what you are assigned to. You arent getting keys to a govt car on your first day at your new field office.
Most SA get assigned a gov car. Just like cops get assigned a patrol vehicle. Do you think the FBI is gonna let you use your personal vehicle to conduct new investigations and leads? Or have you catch a train or Uber? lol
The website states yiu must be at least 6 months outside of you served military service anyways. Fresh out, you wouldn't be able to join. A bachelor's is also required.
It probably has a lot of upgrades already, Preformince wise, as it is still supposed to be a regular sedan, but there probably as good or a little slower than a cop car.
