Possibly draining the PCM completely can empty out the memory. If any FORSCAN changes you would need to reload the stock settings, but it would show the dates loaded.
Have you had any issues problem after the tune with warranty ? Have you had the truck in the shop or any work done after the tune while returning it to stock ? Any problems ?
I had one turbo replaced at 30,000 for bad seal, exhaust manifold at 60,000 for warping and they did the other turbo as well. I still like the motor and it pulls my 8k trailer uphill doing 80 mph. The mpg sucks towing but it gets you there quickly.
I know how you feel about the warranty issue...I tried to install some high.performance parts in the engine, ( coil plugs, exhaust manifolds...for better performane), and I was told it would void my warranty if I installed. I'm like...the truck can take it cause I'm careful and research everything before I do it.
I just watched your first ride with tune and I'm blown away. I'm buying a 2012 eco lariat f150 tomorrow and i already can't wait to buy my tuner and mpt tunes. Any ideas if they have a tune for 91 octane? I believe this is the highest octane in Idaho.
@@KickinItWithQ Thanks I appreciate you responding right away. I'm still watching your videos by the way lol. Also do you know if tuning your vehicle will mess up the life or durability of the motor?
I don’t. This is my first time tuning any of my vehicles. However a tune if done properly purpose is help the vehicle perform at a more optimum level than factor. I can only assume that if my vehicle is running at a more optimum level it will last longer. However there are always risks factors. I suggest doing some research for your model year and see what others have had to say about longevity
@@KickinItWithQ Yeah I guess it would be all about the way you drive it as well. Also I noticed you said you had the 87 tune as well have you tried that yet? And if so what's the difference with that tune?
Thanks for doing the research for those who don’t know much about their warranties. ✌️
No problem man! I learned something myself.

Nope zero issues but that doesn’t mean my experience maybe the same as others but MPT has great customer service

Honestly in the long run as you say it is best to learn to do stuff yourself

Congrats on your purchase. I’m not sure. Check out there website. Not sure if 91/93 are considered the same for them.
