Thanks for the video. First thing I did was install a kicker sub, I felt the stereo still sounded a bit muddy, so I replaced the door speakers with some kickers and wow what a difference. If you haven't replaced them yet I highly recommend it.

I have an 2015 XLT. I changed all the speakers myself (youtube warrior style) and added a Rockville sub under the backseat. I bought JBLs for $90/pair for front and rear door, JBL tweeters and a kicker 3" for the dash speaker. You also have to absolutely talk about and/or try Forscan. I used it to shut off my auto start/stop (no bueno in South Florida), allow the halo on my aftermarket headlights to stay on while driving, and utilize the subwoofer connection in the rear for the subwoofer. Its a must. I also did tow mirrors. Looks good on a lifted truck even though they're not color matched (I have a black truck so it's all good for me).
Dang man! Dope setup you got there! Yes forscan is next. I have all the software and been approved by forscan just got to do it. Definitely a recommended mod too I just hadn’t done it so couldn’t speak to it.

The three amber/orange lights on the grill are just okay. They do not make a huge difference. The headlight mod however, is significant. Those make it the truck look significantly better and they have a functional purpose. The fenders don't go with the wheels. They are too plain. You need some fender flares or different fenders all together. The catch can and K & N air filter are a definite must. Especially on a Direct injected engine. Direct injected means just that. The fuel is injected directly into the combustion chamber. Wheel well liners look really nice but they also have a functional purpose. They block mud, dirt, rocks, etc.. from damaging the wheel well.
Enjoy your video's, but it's the truck video's I am most interested in, as I have a 'new to me' 2016 F150 XLT 4X4 with the 3.5 Ecoboost and I found your site by looking into F150 modifications of course. I'd like a 'levelling' update to my truck, as it has air-bags in the rear, so a balancing of bringing the front up 2 1/2" would be what I'm looking for. Unsure if any levelling lift is better than the rest, or if one is easier to install...I don't know, as I'm trying to learn from others here on TH-cam. Ok...off to see more of your videos, thanks for the shares of them, as I'm sure they help many! By the way, I'm watching from western Canada!

Nice video. I got the Ruby Red XLT 3.5 and I love my truck. I have not done many mods but; I do have to change my cold air intake because I love the after market ones and they have great air flow.

@@KickinItWithQ Yes you are right. I had AFE on my Jeep Commander. It made a big difference and power and I could hear the air going into the engine. Sorry I sold it. It sold in less than a week once it went up for sale. I just subbed to you so you will hear from me.

Nice vid Q. A couple 1st mods I did not mentioned are double honk delete from 4dtech $80, proclip phone mount $100, pedal commander $250 and USB Dongle from Ford to get apple CarPlay or android auto on 2016 or older.

I have the Ford OEM wheel well liners too, think people don't realize you have them because they don't come so far down like the Husky or Rough Country brand liners do. The OEM ones just barely come down far enough to cover the gap above the frame. I chose them because I didn't like how much the aftermarket ones covered up the rear shock.

Direct injection motors have fuel going directly into cylinder instead of going over valves then into cylinder so it cleans valves and prevents carbon build up,newer motore i hear have added port injection in addition to the direct injection which means ckean valves the catch can slows down yhe carbon build up but doesnt stop it completely which means eventually you will need the intake manifold pulled and valves scrapped clean..just for those out theor curious!!This truck is bad ass!!!can't wait to get one

Really useful. Thanks. Will that cold air intake you might get, will that improve the mpg as well, and if so, more or less than what you have done already? That's a beautiful job you did. My suggestion, if it was me, I'd add a smooth black Diamondback HD bedcover. Not only incredibly useful and secure, and drier than any other, but man, it would look sharp on that red/black you already have.

I didn’t change the highbeams bro, but I definitely recommend doing both that way you don’t have to go back and do it again. Only dealing with a Anzos. Once a ball goes out. It’s a pain in the ass having to go back and change bulbs. I thought they were making a building LED said of the Enzos. I’m not sure if they release those yet.

Dude I’m telling you now lol if you tune they ecoboost. It’s going to fly 😂. Turner definitely worth it imo. If you don’t want to tune I hear a lot of people convert E85 and supposedly the results are better than tune. I’ve never dealt with that so I can’t say for sure but tune...👌👌

Nick Makowski I never ran SCT so I have no experience. Not sure if you saw my race video few videos back I raced another 3.5 ecoboost. He just has the SCT tune and his truck was pretty fast. You can always start with the SCT itself then if you feel you want something else you can order a MPT tune file later.

Did you consider installing the sub in the hidden cavity behind the back seat on the driver's side? You can even mount an amp right next to it back there.
Yea I did but it wouldn’t fit without some tweaking and o didn’t have time. Actually maybe moving the amp back there soon though

They were stock running boards. If you in DFW area you can get them for a few I know have amp power steps
i just picked up the alpha rex lux for my black out build. I am putting a 12 inch 800w RMS sub but the stock speakers are kinda junk. I am unfortunately in NY so id have to find a shop that will pass my tints i cant work on my stuff at my shop

I’m lifted 6in but they did cut the front crash bars and trimmed some plastic

It’s common that the front bars a cut to fit bigger tires and to avoid rubbing but definitely don’t cut the rear. That keeps the tire from entering the cab in the event of an accident

That is for the '17 and up. You can mod them for the '15-'16. It is the AMS boost tubes.
Just bought my "new" 2016 F-150 XLT and I'm excited about the mods. I was intrigued with the wheel well liners you mentioned, but they seem to be made only for the rear wheels? That would look F'd up to have black rear wheel wells and white front wheel wells! Can you recommend a site where I can get all four wheel well liners at the same time? Thank you brother!

I messed up. I went and took another look at my truck and only the rear wheel wells didn't have the liners. That explains what I'm seeing on the net. Thanks!

What would you recommend be done to the 2022 king ranch super duty ? I want to know from someon who knows more like you so it can save me some time and so no one tries to pull one over on me.
Honestly that’s tough question. It depends on what you want to do to it. Like what vision you have for your truck and want it to look like.
@@KickinItWithQ i know I want It lifted yet he able to get as much mpg back as I can with other mods, I want to know the perfect tire ratio without having to worry about my tires rubbing on my truck , and I want it to be even faster that’s for the most part all i wanna do to it. I’ll be driving around my military base. And going camping and such.
Then you might want to look into 35in tires on like 20x10 wheels

It’s be okay. I’ve seen it before but it’ll definitely make that chrome bumper stand out.
Catch can are used to catch the oil to keep your valves from getting dirty and crusty. The new trucks now have dual injections one injector goes strait into the cylinder and the other sprays the injectors. It took Ford 2 yrs to realized the brain fart. Just keep a eye out on your turbos

I go back and forth on the raptor grill. My 2015 came with a nice ram bar so I don't want to change out the grill.
