I took notes on SMC-L for Aid & Attendance, use form 21-2680, Particulate matter under TERA can apply to OSA claim, and always start your claim statement with the date it began to help the raters determine the beginning date for compensation purposes.
I love you it when you two talk, even when there's a disagreement because it peaks my interest and attention. Keep up the good work! Nate's doing a great job on the intro and newsletters and helpful videos too.

My husband filed for PTSD disability 9/9/2019. After about a year and a half we went back to the VA office to inquire of the result of the claim and was told that the claim was just setting there with no action and that they would have to resubmit the claim which they did. When his claim was approved he was paid from the date resubmitted. We went in to ask about back pay from 9/9/2019 and was told he need to submit a letter to this affect which we did. It is now 2024 and we have not heard anything about the back pay. What should he do?

My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2011. He had surgery to remove the cancer and was left with limited organ functions. He filed for disability in 2013 and was given a 20% rating. Is this rating normal. He filed for a higher rating about a year ago but was denied. He"s still under a doctor to watch his PA. What should he do now?
